The Southwinds Condominium Complex, located on Atlantic Beach's grand oceanfront, provides you with the vacation you deserve. Allow yourself to drift away from your everyday stress and relax in one of the two outdoor swimming pools. Take the walkway down to the beach and enjoy a lovely stroll. It's the perfect place for a vacation! This complex is conveniently located to area amusements and offers laundry facilities and charcoal grills on-site.

Southwinds condo F-6 is a beautifully decorated, oceanfront elevated first-floor condo with a good ocean view. With two bedrooms and two baths, your family will get the quality time you need to catch up with one another. The oceanfront balcony is always calling, so take in the sights and sounds of the ocean whenever you wish. Inside, enjoy comfortable furnishings like the brand-new sleeper sofa and chairs that create a cozy setting to watch your favorite movies on the TV with a bag of popcorn. The fully equipped kitchen, with a dishwasher and remodeled pantry, and the dining area are great for family meals together. After washing up in the hall bath with a shower stall, you can tuck the children into the guest bedroom with a set of bunk beds (two twins) and a queen bed as well as a TV for added entertainment. The coveted king-size bed primary bedroom has a remodeled en suite bathroom and an updated walk-in closet. There is even a washer and dryer for your convenience, as well as a new linen closet for all your essentials. The WiFi access will keep the techie in the family happy and allow you to do work away from home!

Everything is supplied for your comfort and convenience - all you need is your sunscreen and a beach towel.

Spontaneous trip to Atlantic Beach

Wonderful property and location for us! We enjoyed the beaches, access to the fort, and the nearby nature trails! Condo was well stocked and very clean! Only issue we had was the 10 digit door code sent to us didn’t work - we are grateful to the two local staff members who drove out within 10 minutes of us being unable to resolve on the phone! They were very helpful! Love it and hope to return soon!returnwith

Great Choice

Condo was nicely updated and well stocked kitchen. It had great storage and would be perfect for a week long trip. We booked a last minute long weekend and loved this space. Close to the beach, would be perfect for seasonal trips. Master bed was comfortable.

Great place on the beach!

This was an easy place to get settled-photos matched the place exactly. It was nice to be on the first floor, right beside the boardwalk, for easy runs between beach and condo for snacks and beach needs! Kitchen is small, but had all pots and pans needed for easy beach cooking. The patio is delightful with a view of the ocean and a nice breeze. Nice location overall.

Perfect!! The property grounds were very well maintained. The unit was perfect! Everything was so neat and clean- living room furniture was comfortable and very clean and the beds were also very comfortable.

Great little condo. You can see the ocean from the deck, but it faces the parking lot as well. This wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s worth mentioning. The condo had everything we needed. The bed in the master was so comfortable

Weekend Getaway

Very cute and cozy beach condo. Very clean. Only issue was there was no parking pass or pool wrist bands left in the condo upon our arrival and we ended up getting a parking violation ticket! There was no one on one communication with to address this issue.

Great location, Vacasa frustrations

The location was great and the on grounds pool was clean and well kept. The condo wasn’t cleaned properly upon arrival and after complaint, Vacasa sent someone to come clean floors and bathrooms. They appeared to have been barely touched from the previous guests. We did see 2 large water roaches in the unit which kind of freaked me out. The bunk bed was super squeaky up top and could maybe use some work. Pillows were awful - I recommend bringing your own. The king bed was comfortable and having linens provided is convenient. Overall we felt like cleanliness could be better- seems like a deep clean has been a while.

Good location, have had better experiences

The unit was not properly cleaned upon arrival however Vacasa did send someone to clean after my complaint. It is evident that a deep clean (getting into corners, under things, etc have not been done in some time). I also think it could be sprayed for bugs as well. Vacasa didn’t communicate we needed to pick up parking tags at their office so after searching for those in the unit we had to go pick those up. The renovations done are cute and the king and queen bed were comfortable. The twin size bunk beds squeaked horribly and the pillows could use replacing. The location is great and the pools were very clean and not over crowded.

Great place

This was our second year staying at Southwinds but our first year using Vacasa. The property overall is great and the room was nicely decorated. However, the screen door was off of the track so unusable for the balcony. Everything else was functional so this wasn’t a big deal. The only complaint I have was with the cleanliness. The ceiling fan had visible dust accumulated, there was body hair on the bathroom floors which we had to vacuum, and there was several inches of standing water in the tray under the equipment in the closet. Someone had placed a hand towel in here which was soaked and smelled. Vacasa sent a maintenance person out quickly who sucked up the water and pretty much solved the issue. Overall this wasn’t a huge deal but the place could have been cleaned a little better. We would likely stay here again and use Vacasa again.
