Fall 2022 Getaway

The property was clean and nicely decorated. It is well equipped with everything needed. Plenty of room for a couple to use for a quick getaway. We will consider staying again.

Great beach condo

Clean. Good location to beach, pool, parking, elevator. Comfy beds. Kitchen had all basic necessities. Both showers could use updated shower heads. Great heated indoor pool/ hot tub, and outdoor pool with tube slide! Will be back again!

Vacasa…less than I expected.

Place was ok. Definitely not cleaned to the level I’d expect. I’m not a white glove stickler…but it wasn’t great.

Hot tub was okay, dead cockroach in the indoor pool area, though. Kitchen: we purchased and left a tea kettle. There was nothing to boil water in for tea. There were no small/med sized pots to cook in. There was no pizza cutter or cookie sheets.

Nice place near Fort Macon!

My husband and I enjoyed a week away from the mountains at this nice condo! A Place At the Beach, which is a family resort of sorts, seemed very well-run and we were happy with the amenities (indoor pool and hot tub). The outdoor pool and activities looked great but it was too cold to use them. The condo was very clean and we were happy with the linens and towels, etc. The 2 beds were pretty comfortable. Everything was as expected. The only bad thing was that I thought the kitchen was missing some basics such as salt, pepper, any spices, sugar, etc. We really enjoyed Fort Macon which has over 3 miles of nature trails and the Visitor's Center is fantastic and of course, the fort itself was really interesting.. The Fort was only about a mile away from this condo.

We can clarify that a starter set of travel-sized toiletries, basic cleaning supplies, and paper products are provided to start our guest's first weekend out on the right foot. While we ensure that our homes are stocked with the necessary items to cook full meals, pantry items such as salt, pepper, and oil are not typically included in our homes unless by owner's choice. We appreciate your understanding and hope to host you for a truly wonderful getaway in the future!

Great cozy place; Fun beach Decor

Overall great place. Good location with the partial ocean view. The whole place had a great theme. Great for a Family of 3-4 with little kids. Not sure if this is the place for feedback, but a couple of notes: The shower didn't have a plug for the tub, making it useless. The place didn't have a vacuum so if we track in sand (we are at the beach) it was impossible to clean it. There is only one small table that had a whole bunch of stuff on it. We had to move it every time we wanted to use the table. The facet for the kitchen sink was way to low, making it very difficult to wash the large pans.

A Place At the Beach 229

The condo was cute, but was in need of a deep cleaning. I reached out to Vacasa and was told they would fwd my photos to the local office, but no further response. -Beds and Couch were clean -Shower heads are filthy and calcified -Bath turn knobs have black mold inside -Dining room table crumbs and cereal under -Beds had dust and cereal crumbs under -The air intake filter doesn’t look like it has been changed in year. Three people in our party suffer from allergies and left with sinus infections. For the cost, I didn’t expect luxury but I did expect it to be cleaner. Our entire party is disappointed with the cleanliness of this eoom. The resort is awesome. We loved water slide and pools. We have decided we will stay at the resort again but we will use a different company and different room.

Another great trip

So, I love the beach, period. It's gonna be hard for me to complain about being there. I've been to Atlantic Beach every year around the 4th of July for the last 4 years, and each year I've stayed with APTB though Vacasa (although two of those years I was someone's guest), Every condo that I've stayed in has been more than satisfactory for the price and proximity to the ocean, and that place (APTB) is ALIVE during that time of year. Yet, at the same time, it's very much a family place and after 10pm it's nice and quiet, and safe as can be if you wanna take a stroll. The complex itself has a great pool and hot tub, along with other amenities. But about the condo itself. Again, I can't complain. Not that it wasn't a nice place, I'd love to live somewhere like that in fact, I just spend as little time as I can in the room while I'm down there so to me, "Can't complain" gets a 5 star rating. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked, the kitchen was nice but I didn't do any cooking there as my extended family was also spread out over multiple units and we'd cook at each other's places. Still nicer than some that I've seen. The bedroom and bed were great, as was the guest room (great place for a nap with the balcony door open). The view wasn't spectacular, the balcony looked over the parking lot but you could see the water over the top of the dunes. I didn't pick it for the view, though, it was a wonderful home base and that's what I needed. P.S.- The mermaid statue is a trip 🤣 Everyone who saw it laughed.

It is a cute condo but needs a thorough cleaning. The floor in the tv room was sticky in places, the air conditioning vents were rusty, there were several stains on the wall of the small bathroom and the wood trim around the shower was rotting. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom had a lot of dust on the fan blades and the faucet base in the kitchen was filthy. We are not super clean people but the unit needs a deep clean.
