Perfect for relaxation and fun, surrounded by nature.
Less than 15 minutes from Hudson, NY & right off the Taconic Parkway so your 2 hour journey from NYC is a breeze.
Step into the sunken living room, designed for unforgettable moments with your whole crew. Enjoy the cozy ambiance as you dive into vinyl records, start up the karaoke machine, build with magna-tiles, jam on musical instruments, get creative with art supplies, or challenge each other with a variety of board games.
Just beyond, the charming back deck invites you to gather around a second dining table and a professional-grade Blackstone griddle, perfect for cooking delicious meals together while taking in serene views of the pond and the glowing firepit out under the stars.
The kitchen is a culinary dream, fully stocked with chef-quality tools and amenities to inspire your inner cook. Whip up gourmet dishes with a KitchenAid mixer, premium cookware, and a wide selection of spices. For cocktail and mocktail enthusiasts, a bartender-grade mixing station awaits, complete with classic cocktail books to spark your mixology creativity and serve up unforgettable drinks for your guests.
Rest easy in one of three beautifully appointed bedrooms featuring a king, queen, and twin XL bed—all with exceptionally comfortable, high-quality mattresses. The queen bedroom closet houses a double-sized 8` thick memory foam fold-out mattress, perfect for extra guests, along with ample fresh sheets and pillows. `
The home boasts a full bathroom upstairs and another in the basement by the laundry area, stocked thoughtfully with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your convenience and comfort.
Off in the woods beyond the green garage you`ll find an outdoor soaking tub that can be filled with hot or cool water overlooking the Taconic foothills. There is a solar chandelier, some twinkle lights, and candles so you can enjoy a soak among the fireflies and under the stars.
Guests have access to the entry level of the house, and the laundry and bathroom areas of the basement. All other basement areas, including the attached garage are locked owner storage areas. The green building is also an owner storage building.
The property is most expansive to the west, though we don`t recommend going too far because there is another private property in that direction.
Dogs are welcome, but owners are severely allergic to cats and cannot accommodate a cat in the space. Dog towels will be provided for any messes, and please keep dogs off the furniture. There is a medium size dog crate in the basement by the laundry if needed. Please clean up after your dog in the grass areas of the property. There is no fenced in area and we are off a road that has some traffic and have neighbors with dogs, so please be extremely mindful with any off leash dogs. The back deck does have a little gate which can be helpful with keeping dogs from running off, but letting them have some time outdoors.
-Cancellation Policy:
We strictly follow the cancellation policy selected at booking. Airbnb offers travel insurance, which we recommend if you’re concerned about unexpected events.
-Alterations:
Reducing nights from your reservation is subject to the cancellation policy and may not be approved. Extensions are almost always welcome, though last-minute requests may require cleaner confirmation.
-Regular Maintenance:
Essential services, such as lawn care, snow removal, pool/hot tub cleaning (where applicable), and pest control, may occur during your stay. These vendors follow a regular schedule, though days and times can vary slightly. We kindly ask that you allow them to complete their work quickly so you can enjoy the rest of your day.
-Damage:
If something is damaged, please let us know right away. We value honesty and will work with you to find a fair resolution, whether the damage is minor or significant.
-Wildlife:
Our homes are often in rural areas, so you may encounter insects (bees, spiders, flies), small animals (squirrels, raccoons), and occasionally larger wildlife (deer, bears). Please be prepared for nature during your stay and remember they’re more afraid of you than you are of them.
-Power & Internet Outages:
Outages can happen in this area due to weather or other factors. Because they are out of our control, we do not provide refunds for these interruptions, but we’ll do our best to help you work around them.
-Weather:
Rain, wind, snow and extreme heat and humidity are possible depending on the season. Please plan your travel accordingly, as we cannot refund missed stays due to weather conditions preventing travel.
-Additional Guests & Occupancy Limits:
The listed occupancy applies to your entire stay, not just overnight guests. Any extra guests or events must be approved in writing before arrival. Unapproved gatherings or over-occupancy will result in immediate removal without a refund.
