After months searching for the perfect beach getaway, we discovered a Madeira Beach gulf front gem, then improved it with state-of-the-art upgrades. The result: A sun-filled, beach-front condo with 180 degree Gulf of Mexico views from our seventh-floor wrap around balconies off the living room and master suite. Sunsets take your breath away, and the sound of the surf on beach just below remind you why youā€™re on vacation. Ours is an open floor plan with modern kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a large den with a sleeper sofa, in-unit full size washer/dryer and wireless broadband. A private pool and spa are on the Gulf-view patio downstairs, along with a BBQ grill and picnic tables. A short stroll takes you to a grocery store, pharmacy, bars and restaurants and shops galore. Hop on the beach trolley, and access to everything the Gulf Beaches offer are within reach without every getting in a car. Assigned, covered parking is part of the deal. Can only be booked through VRBO.

Another Great Stay

This is our third year to stay in Wes and Diane's beautiful Gulf front condo and we plan on returning next year. We love the location and the comforts of the condo. We couldn't ask for a better place to spend our January's and even tho it was a little cool this year, it was much nicer than the snow in North Carolina. Another wonderful month in Mad Beach

This was our fourth January in Wes and Diane's condo and we plan on returning next year as well. Beautiful condo, convenient location, perfect weather and great owners..couldn't ask for more. So happy the pool was heated for at least part of our stay. This year we were able to enjoy it as well as the beach. Sad to leave.

This condo on Madiera Beach is absolutely wonderful. All the comforts of home plus much more. Wes and Diane have done a fabouolous job of making this condo a little oasis .The beach views are outstanding not to mention the georgeous sunrises and sunsets. Good to Get Away from Winter

This was our ninth January to stay in Wes and Dianeā€™s wonderful beachfront condo. Needless to say, we love their place and it feels like a second home to us. We have always thought this is the best location on the beach and it continues to improve with the addition of new businesses. Our daughterā€™s family came to visit over MLK weekend and enjoyed their stay at the Cambria hotel which is within walking distance of the condo. We are already looking forward to returning in 2023!

This was my first time renting a vrbo in Florida and it couldn't have gone any better. The condo is beautiful and the owners have anticipated anything you could ever need. We have stayed at this condo several times and couldn't ask for kinder, more generous owners. This condo has everything you could possibly want/need, it's clean, fully stocked kitchen/bathroom supplies with a washer/dryer. Several beach items plus different size umbrellas to enjoy at the beach. But what it lacks is a HEATED pool for our two months out of the year stay. A warm pool is very important to me. We have to give this condo an "A+" . You won't be disappointed when you stay here.

Another great stay

Although the weather was less than perfect, we enjoyed our month together in this wonderful condo. This was our 11th January here so it feels like our home away from home. The heater allowed us to enjoy the balcony overlooking the Gulf even on cool January days. The location is perfect, allowing us to enjoy the beach and pool on warm days but also some of our favorite nearby restaurants when we wanted to get out. The well equipped kitchen and close grocery store and seafood market made it easy to cook when we wanted to eat in. Itā€™s a perfect Winter getaway for us and we plan to return next year. Best vacation!

The condo is beautiful, from the floors to the finishes. The balcony and view are perfect. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make family meals. We had the best time with our 3 year old; all the beach and pool fun daily with pirate themed mini golf across the street. We could walk across the street to the grocery store whenever we needed to grab last minute items. Wes and Diane were such gracious and thoughtful hosts. Another Great Stay

I guess the best testament to how much we enjoy this condo is fact that we have rented it for eight consecutive Januaryā€™s. We enjoy sitting on the balcony looking over the Gulf for coffee in the morning and magnificent sunsets in the evening. The location is excellent with grocery store, drugstore, post office, and restaurants within walking distance. If you want to eat in, the kitchen is equipped with anything you need. We were extremely happy that the pool was heated the entire month this year. Wes and Diane have thought of everything. Canā€™t wait to go back next year!

Home away from home

i guess the best compliment I can give this condo (and the owners) is the fact that we have spent the last six Januaryā€™s there and plan to return next year! Needless to say, we love it there. The condo is stocked with everything you need, the view of the Gulf is amazing and the location is perfect. The weather in January is unpredictable, but there is lots to do in St Petersburg or Tampa when itā€™s not good beach weather. We do wish the pool were heated but that is the only improvement we can think of. Already looking forward to next January! Thanks, Wes and Diane!

Best vacation rental EVER!

From first contact to last our experience was professional, friendly and helpful. You can't beat the gulf front view, the extra large balcony with comfortable and colorful furniture. The kitchen had every imaginal gadget, appliance and a pantry that had everything needed to cook. Beach chairs were already loaded into a wheeled cart ready to go. Pool toys and floats were also ready to go. Easy access to everything Madiera and beyond. Staying in this property is just like going to a family members house. Can't wait to go back. If there was a 10 star rating we world give it 10 stars!

Great condo in good location

We spent four weeks in this immaculate condo. We have rented several condos and houses in various states, and have never seen one as well stocked- from dishes, pans to paper products- it seemed that Wes and Diane had thought of everything. The condo feels bigger than it looks in the pictures. This is a quiet building with full time residents as well as monthly renters. The location is perfect. You can easily walk to a grocery store, drug store, shops and restaurants. All this in addition to wonderful views and easy beach access. We enjoyed watching dolphins play as we sat on the balcony. Owners live nearby and were very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely like to return for another stay.

This was my second stay in this beautiful condo and I will absolutely try to book with them again. Quiet building, perfect location, beautiful view and sunsets, plus everything they could imagine you would need. Grocery, liquor, and drug store...restaurants, shops...all within walking distance. Step out the door and you are on the beach. I was able to be without a car for two months and not even miss it. The trolley stops right out front if you need to go a longer distance. Relaxing lifestyle

Second year staying at Wes &Dianesā€™ condo. Itā€™s perfect, well maintained and very clean. Everything you need for a months stay away and for the beach lifestyle is provided. Wes &Diane live in the Tampa area and are always available to assist and answer and questions regarding the beautiful area with its abundant of restaurants and activities for all ages. I have taken up ā€œsurfā€ fishing and caught a variety of species found in Gulf of Mexico. Beach access is so convenient....just put on your bathing suit ,get elevator to ground floor and your on the beach! Itā€™s quiet and peaceful and everyone you meet are friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to next year.

Wes and Diane are, by far, the best owners to rent a condo from! They have paid attention to the smallest detail to make sure their guests have everything they need during their stay. All you need to do is come with your clothes, your food, and they have taken care of everything else! Be ready to relax and enjoy every minute of everyday you are there. The location of the condo is excellent and will give you the best views of the beach, sunsets and wildlife! Wes and Diane came to greet us upon our arrival, to show us the apartment, and welcomed us with wine, cheese and crackers! They communicated with us during our stay to make sure we didnā€™t need anything. You will not regret staying there, in fact, you will want to go back, as we do. Better every year!

This was our 5th year to stay in Wes and Dianeā€™s condo and we hope to return next year! Even though the weather was cool this year, we had a wonderful time. The location is excellent - beautiful view of the Gulf from the balcony where afternoons are warm and sunny even on cool days. Itā€™s a short walk to a grocery store, drug store, Wednesday morning market, and more. Itā€™s a short drive to restaurants and shopping along Gulf Blvd. St Petersburg is close by if you want to take in a movie, Museum or other more urban activities. Of course, the main attraction is the white sandy beach right outside your door. Some in our group walked or biked on the beach everyday. Some enjoyed the hot tub or laying around the pool. Others enjoyed reading or afternoon naps on the balcony. There is something for everybody. Wes and Diane take great pride in their unit and each year we are pleasantly surprised at the improvements and additions they make. Already looking forward to next year!

Beautiful Condo!!

I can't say enough good about this condo. Wes and Diane have thought of everything and are the best "landlords" you could ever ask for. They greeted me the first day with a vase of flowers on the table and a bottle of wine. They checked in with me frequently to see if I needed anything during my stay. This condo is well stocked with kitchen cooking items, appliances, spices, paper products, everything you need to get started. The furniture is very comfy and they have 3 large flat screen TV's with cable for everyone to enjoy their favorite shows. The balcony is absolutely the best you will find on the beach with it's wrap around design. You can get a nice breeze on one side while shielding yourself from blowing rain (should it occur) on the other side. I saw dolphins, turtles, rays, manatees and much more from this balcony during my stay. I used the grill on the balcony several times a week because it was so easy to use and convenient for even just one hamburger! The condo building itself is very quiet and in the perfect location. I usually had the pool to myself during the week and on many weekends as well. It's just a short walk to the public beach with the "Snack Shack" for a quick bite or drink. Have I said enough? I think I'm rambling because I was soooo happy here! I highly recommend this condo you will NOT regret it!

My wife and I searched for the perfect beach get away for not only ourselves, but for family and friends. After several months of searching and viewing condos from Clearwater to St Pete Beach, we found this gem. We completely updated the condo in 2013; we added all new windows and sliding glass doors, new kitchen cabinets and granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, new floors, paint, new window treatments, new ceiling fans, 3 flat screen TVs, new marble and cabinets for the bathrooms. It turned out better than we could of imagined and I am sure you will agree.

The beach is steps away. You do not need to walk a long way from the building to the water. The pool area offers chairs, bathrooms, and shower for your convenience.
The wrap-around balcony offers western, southern, and northern views. Amenities such as restaurants, beach bars, pharmacies, medical facilities, groceries are all short walks away. You may never need your car as the local trolley stops out front of the building and will transport you anywhere from Clearwater Beach to St. Pete beach and all stops in between
