Great family time

We had a great time at Salt Sea. We had stayed here last year and it is perfect for our family with small children. It is a short walk to the beach and we love the outdoor shower with little ones. We did have a little trouble with a wasp nest on the walkway- but my husband got rid of it. The house is spacious and very clean and we love the view of the ocean!

Awesome beachfront house with large deck to accommodate six people. Short drive to downtown folly beach area where all the fun is, and Ubers were easy to get also. Host was always prompt in responding and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer vacation spot

Beautiful house and was perfect for our reunion! waking up and walking out to see the sunrise every morning was worth every penny! Communication was great and our questions were answered almost immediately. thanks for a great stay!

There were a few things that need repair but didn’t alter our stay. Kitchen cabinet door knobs were falling off, microwave door handle was broken at the bottom, lamps were wobbly and some doors were difficult to open and close because of humidity.

Wonderful private feeling away from neighbors. Great backyard gathering area. Easy private beach access. Good size for 6 adults and 3 children. Well stocked with indoor and outdoor activities and water equipment.

5 Stars for a family-friendly place

Our family of adults and 2 children has stayed twice at Salt Sea and enjoyed the house each time. It is nestled in a beautiful live oak stand which provides some protection from wind and shade during the day. The house has a lovely deck looking straight at the ocean, a boardwalk out to the strand, two screened porches and a sun room, 3 bedrooms + bunk beds for the kids. We were comfortable around the eating table and had plenty of kitchen equipment. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking. We highly recommend this property. I'd give it 5 stars!

Excellent location for surfers. Are anybody hanging out in the surf and on the beach. The place was clean we were met with a bottle of wine, which was a nice touch and the knives were sharp, which is important for me as I love to cook. I also really appreciated the organic products and trying to use less plastic. We will be back.

This lovely home sits beautifully in between two natural areas, assuring privacy and framing the stunning ocean view perfectly. Comfy furniture and multiple seating areas made it easy for our group to pursure differnent entertainment options. The well-appointed kitchen and outdoor grill were great for cooking!

The beach house was wonderful for our family and the views from the rooms were spectacular! The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more to make our stay perfect. We loved the screen porches and the sun room and just sat and watched the ocean. The house also felt very private and having our own walkway to the beach was perfect for little kids. We would love to stay here again next year!

A view!

Staying here was a great experience. There’s so many options to enjoy the view… You can enjoy it from the porch, or in three separate screened in areas. We will definitely be looking to book again.

Wonderful family vacation spot

Best place to stay! Clean, private, and great location. Easy drive into Charleston for all the activities & come back to relax on the quiet beach steps away from the house. The entire process was so easy and the family definitely wants to go back again next summer!
