The Space:

Through the private gated entryway, enter a storied world of stunning natural surroundings and exquisite attention to detail. The residence opens to a spectacular beachfront deck with loungers, al-fresco dining for six and steps down to the sand. If the breeze off the water gets chilly in the evening step inside and relax by the Apple TV, Sonos sound system and Wi-Fi or sip a California vintage from the wine fridge. Wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling glass brings the ocean and sunset views into the home’s gorgeous open-concept great room. The professional kitchen space will delight the gourmand in the group. All Viking appliances, including a wine cooler, are complemented by the the unique stone work accent and the gleaming white tile backsplash. A large center island offers additional work space and bar seating for 3. All four bedrooms at La Costa Beach House are ensuite, with private baths. The Master bedroom suite is a private sanctuary, with its own balcony on the second floor. Boasting a king bed and a vaulted white bead-board ceiling with two rows of skylights, the morning sun will gently lull you out of sweet slumber. Open your eyes to the sweeter reality of the endless Pacific ocean outside your window. A full-size sofa beckons you to enjoy a few moments of solitude perhaps to read, catch up on social media or simply sit. A desk and office chair are provided for those who must mix business with pleasure and a smart TV is wall-mounted in front of the bed. one bedroom with a queen bed and one bedroom with two queen beds. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed and shares access to a hall bathroom. The second level has a den with a large sectional sofa - perfect for families.

IMPORTANT: We are a professional property management company and use a professional PMS system. Our PMS integration limits our ability to charge a credit card processing fee, however, a credit card processing fee is a hard cost to us. We have to charge a 3.55% CC processing fee based on the total charges displayed on the platform. International Credit Cards have an additional 1 to 1.5% on top of the 3.55% for exchange rates totalling almost 4.7% in fees. Please note, that if you do not want to incur the CC processing fee you can send a bank wire. If you send a request to book your CC will only be charged the platform fee. We will not charge your card until we confirm with you. Someone from our team will reach out to you.

Guest Access:
The guest have access to the entire home and beach. Garage is small made for 1 car however it can fit a Tesla X!

The Neighborhood:
While Malibu offers some absolutely stunning beaches, and one just outside your door, there are other activities available should you wish to see a different side of the area. For instance, you may either take a hike or a safari on the grounds of the Saddlerock Ranch Estate, with wine tasting at the end. Visit the impressive Getty Villa Museum or the Adamson House with its amazing views of the Malibu Pier. As for restaurants, the world famous Nobu Malibu is just down the PCH.

Property is located on Pacific Coast Highway. Guests are subject to hearing potential road noise and/or waves crashing.

Getting Around:
Sightseeing in Malibu is a feature one should never miss, therefore, we highly recommend having a vehicle while visiting Malibu. Since this villa is managed by us you will automatically receive preferred rental rates through Drive Awhile. Drive Awhile simplifies the car rental process by leaving your car rental at the property with keys inside. You can also leave the car at departure and work with our concierge to arrange your airport transfer. Just like our villas all of cars are well optioned vehicles ranging from Black on Black Cadillac Escalades (perfect for families) to a convertible Mercedes (perfect for couples) to a Rolls Royce Dawn to a Lamborghini Urus. Drive Awhile has something for everyone.

Other Things to Note:
Please message our team and speak with the Home Manage before booking. Mandatory additional terms may apply depending on your booking platform. Credit card processing fee may be required post-booking. In case of cancellation, the stated booking cancellation policy applies. The 'Reservation fee' is our non-refundable credit card processing fee.

To maintain property and neighborhood harmony, we have important rules. Please read carefully.

1) No parties, visitors, or unapproved guests. Submit all guest names before booking. Government ID may be requested from the person who booked. A guest is anyone who will spend any amount of time at the property. Our strict guest policy ensures neighborhood peace and legal compliance. Exceeding capacity risks our permit, we may ask you to leave.

2) No pets allowed except for service animals as required by law.

3) No smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, or similar (outside and indoors). Our state-of-the-art smoke detectors notify the fire department - $500 fee for false alarms or rule violations. City Code Section 41.50 B 18 b | High Brush Fire Zone | Prevent Wildfires | It’s the LAW. We are in a high brush fire zone. In effort to prevent wildfires the state can turn utilities on and off intermittently. Stay Awhile will not offer any refunds in this case.

4) Do not send mail to property before or after your reservation dates. If needed, send it to our office; we'll deliver to the property on your arrival day. We're not responsible for lost mail.

5) Quiet hours: 10:00pm to 8:00am to ensure peaceful atmosphere for all guests and neighbors.

8) Day of Arrival:
Let us know if you prefer self-check-in or a personal tour. Only the guest who booked can check in and must show their ID for security.

9) Check-In:
We have a check-in window from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Early check-in is based upon availability and will need to be approved by our team. Our early check-in fees are $100 for every hour before 4:00pm. Additionally, if you want to check-in before 12:00 pm, then you will need to pay a fee equal to one full day. Please keep this in mind as the day of your arrival approaches. If you are arriving later than 6pm, please reach out to our team for approval.

Check Out:
Our check-out time is 10:00am. Late checkout is based upon availability and needs to be approved in advance. Our late check-out fee is $100 for every hour after 10:00am. Additionally, if you want to check-out after 12:00 pm, then you will need to pay a fee equal to one full day. Please keep this in mind as the day of your departure approaches.

10) When you are departing the property, please make sure that you do not leave anything behind. Our team is not responsible for Lost or Stolen Items. If our team finds a lost item, we will ship it back to the guest. The guest will be responsible for paying the shipping cost plus a $50 service fee.

11) Pre Stocking:
We have a list of pre-stocking options that guests are able to choose from. Pre-stock requests typically require at least one week advance notice. There will be a $150 service charge or 20% service charge (whichever one is greater) for all pre-stocking requests.

Cleanliness:
We take our cleaning seriously. You can trust that our homes are thoroughly deep cleaned between guest visits. All of our homes have white hotel-style linens, white towels, toiletries for our guests, and well stocked kitchens with high-end appliances. Amid COVID-19, our cleaning intensified: surfaces wiped with hot water and disinfectants. All towels and linens washed, regardless of appearance; many hotels don't. Door handles and high-touch spots get extra care. Staff wears masks, gloves, and shoe coverings. Our exceptional cleaning surpasses CDC standards.

This property contains an exterior camera at the front door which is motion sensored and is active during guests stay.

We are a professional vacation rental hospitality management company. We maintain high hospitality standards with an in-house team of designers, concierge, hosts, maintenance personnel, and stylists. We are ranked #1 in California and #4 in the country. Travel can be stressful, especially when you book without seeing the home beforehand. We eliminate that stress.

Lovely Ocean Views
Having stayed at many lovely rental properties around the world I can offer an informed review of ~7 out of 10 for this home. The home is directly on the beach with wonderful views of dolphins and ocean sunsets. The location is very convenient to shops and restaurants and the beach is perfect for walking. Unfortunately the doors that access the back deck and beach are not able to be locked from the exterior (we requested a key but were denied), so either a member of our party had to stay in the house or lock and leave via the front door and walk along PCH to find a beach access point. The temperature in the home vacillated between hot and cold, until we Google searched the HVAC thermostats and determined that a daily schedule had been set for the home that changed multiple temps and times during the day and night. We contacted the Stay Awhile office regarding several maintenance issues, and they sent a service tech out on Saturday to resolve the thermostat issues as well as toilet not working, shower leaking, etc. The service tech was very kind and attentive to resolving all the issues that he could. We had multiple challenges with Stay Awhile communications and lack of consistency in policy execution and agreements. I would suggest if you book a Stay Awhile property (we booked this home through VRBO) that you ensure you document and share with Stay Awhile all conversations, agreements and approvals.

Unbelievable stay, best value in malibu
Honestly breathtaking, hands down best value in Malibu. Energy was just right at this place. So close to the restaurants I wanted to eat at including Nobu! The home was spotless with beautiful modern furniture that wasn’t worn. I wish I could give the place 10 stars! Will definitely be back soon! Thanks for the incredible stay

Great place for family to hang and chill
We really enjoyed the house. A little odd at first that you're on this major highway so close to garage, but the other side of the house is the ocean and calmness. We saw multiple dolphins and seals, and lived up the direct ocean access. House was very well maintained, lots of bells and whistles, great ocean relaxation, can walk to Duke's, Whole Foods only 2ish miles away, etc. Perfect family getaway for a few days. Again good place to just hang and enjoy the house and ocean, or head to the great restaurants/bars in Malibu.
