Lake Effect Club | The Sidney
The Sidney at Lake Effect Club — Editorial 2BR in Milwaukee’s Lower East Side (steps from Brady Street)
About Lake Effect Club 🏛️
Lake Effect Club is Milwaukee’s most creative stay — a 150-year-old building reimagined with bold color, designer vintage finds, and new comforts. ✦ Set in one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods, it’s the short-term rental that proves Milwaukee is every bit as cool as the lake it sits on.
👩🎨 About the Owners
Lake Effect Club was dreamed up by three friends—two from Milwaukee, one who married in—who love design, storytelling, and this awesome city in equal measure.
We’re an architectural/interior designer, a director/producer, and a former fashion designer turned all-around creative. During the pandemic, we started imagining the types of places we’d want to stay, and how we could bring that feeling to Milwaukee: something colorful, thoughtful, and full of character.
A few years later, we found the right building—a 150+ year-old property—and brought it back to life with a thoughtful update, a mix of designer finds, local touches, new pieces and a whole lot of love.
We think Milwaukee is the greatest city on earth. This is our way of sharing it. 💛
The Sidney: Space & Vibe 🎨
Welcome to The Sidney, a space filled with great light, color and character. A sweeping pink bedroom with a desk, a calm green bedroom, and a living room filled with designer finds set the tone. The kitchen is big enough to cook if you love to —plus there’s a dining table, pantry, and just enough breathing room for everyone. Vintage, designer, and fresh new pieces mix throughout. With its own front porch and side deck for morning coffee or summer hang, The Sydney invites you to gather, spread out, and make yourself at home.
