This beautifully appointed summer home has its own 20'x40' pool with lawn areas beyond and is located adjacent to the Miacomet Golf Club and less than a mile from the ocean. The Great Room is suited for large gatherings with decks off either side offering sun, shade, and breezes. The pool areas and grounds offer beautiful settings for dining and relaxation. The floor plan allows for a unique separation of the five first floor bedrooms, providing privacy for two families or in-laws. And, the attached second floor studio apartment with a queen bed, efficiency kitchen, and full bath has ocean views! This part of the island is named after an area of the island once inhabited by Native Americans referred to as 'Miacomet' or 'the Meeting Place'. This uniquely situated and appointed property offers an array of amenities and access to summer fun. While the pool is fully maintained for your use, the ocean is less than a mile away. Walk, bike, or drive to the beach. While the south shore beach stretches for miles and has several beach accesses, Miacomet pond and Miacomet Beach have a lifeguard. A staircase with railing gives easy access to the pool. Beyond the enclosed pool area, which is furnished with tables, chairs and chaise, lawn areas provide space for lawn games and relaxation. And, an outside shower... is the best! The Great Room, a spacious living/family room with cathedral ceiling and loft, is suited for large gatherings to enjoy surround sound music or entertainment on a 60" HDTV with internet/cable access. Decks off either side of the living room offer sun and shade for different times of the day. On the south facing side, the gas grill and deck furniture provides a great spot for lunch and a nap in the chaise, or a gathering place to enjoy sunsets and the prevailing breeze after dinner. The kitchen has a gas stove with a conventional/convection oven and an additional conventional/microwave oven. This modern kitchen with an island provides a place for a quick breakfast or a gathering place for guests before dinner. Adjacent is the dining room with a dining table for eight. The floor plan allows for a unique separation of bedrooms, providing an opportunity for two families or in-laws to have privacy. Off the hallway to the north there is a full bath and three bedrooms: the primary bedroom with a queen bed and its own private bath, the Rose Room with one twin bed, and the Daffodil Room with a queen bed. Off the Great Room are two more bedrooms with direct access to the decks, one with 2 twin beds, and the other with a queen bed.

Miacomet is an easily accessible area on the south side of Nantucket with a golf course, pond, and beautiful beaches. Neighboring Cisco, Miacomet is also close to social hotspot Cisco Brewers and family-owned Bartlett’s Farm. Residents and vacationers in homes in Miacomet enjoy ocean, pond, and farm views, as well as fabulous sunsets.

Beaches & Ponds

Miacomet Pond is a great spot for kayaking and canoeing, but the best swimming can be found in the big waves at Miacomet Beach. Ample parking and a large area in the dunes between the pond and the ocean make for a great picnic or cookout area. There are lifeguards but no bathrooms or food facilities. Ladies Beach another option where you can drive onto the beach with an Over Sand Permit and four-wheel drive vehicle.

Golf

A favorite of locals and visitors alike, the newly renovated Miacomet Golf Club is the Island’s only public 18 hole course. The link style course is owned by the Nantucket Land Bank and is expertly maintained. Their casual indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar is always a popular hangout spot, whether or not you actually play golf.
