Comfortable Home in a Quiet Centrally Located Nantucket Neighborhood

Nantucket is an Island of dreams and our family home has been ours. We would like to share our 3 bedroom 2 bath ranch home on a quiet residential street. The house has an open floor plan, is full of light, sleeps 6, has a large spacious kitchen, living room, and a private backyard deck. Our island home is well equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, a few bikes, and wireless connectivity available for your use. Arrive at 12 Meadow View Drive ready to enjoy your Island vacation only needing your bathing suit and a few good books. The house is centrally located on the Island in the Hussey Farm area between town and the major beaches. Town is a 20 minute walk, a 10 minute stroll to the 'Old Mill', a 10 minute walk to the world famous Maria Mitchell Observatory, and the beaches are a 'bike ride' to Cisco, Surfside, or Ladies Beach. If you prefer, you can hop on the NRTA, the local shuttle bus system, to reach Madaket, Siasconset, or Main Street .
Enjoy our photographs and plan your summer beach vacation before the snows change to spring flowers.
To make this Nantucket vacation as easy as possible we have a caretaker in case of emergencies, and someone to clean upon your departure.

Amazing home with great host!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Flaster home. Beautiful neighborhood, spacious home with large deck and back yard. Rick was very communicative before our stay and quick to respond with any house questions when we checked in. Would highly recommend their home to anyone looking!

12 Meadow View stay

We had a great time at 12 Meadow View. The property fully met our expectations. We enjoyed the bicycles that came with the property. We spent a lot of time on the huge back yard deck. The house had all of amenities we expected. All the appliances were new or almost new. We would rent there again.

A Great Island Vacation!

We had a wonderful week at this rental! The house is cozy yet spacious, with helpful amenities like a dishwasher, laundry machines, a big deck, and an outdoor shower. It's about a twenty minute bike ride out to Cisco, almost all of which was on the bike path which was perfect for us. I would recommend renting bikes separately, as none of the on-site ones worked out for us. It took about twenty minutes to walk into town on the nights we ventured in and it's a quick Uber/taxi to just about any of the spots around town. Such a great week for us on ACK!

Great House & Host

My family stayed at 12 Meadow View for a week in August. It was our first family trip to ACK and I was quite happy with how central the house was. It's west of the rotary so there wasn't any traffic to battle to get to town. Sconset, Madaket, Wauwinet were all within about 15/20 mins. The house had the traditional Cape summer home that we like. No stairs, outdoor shower, big deck, no A/C, and lots of old games and books lying about. For a family of 5 and an AuPair this was a great setup. The trundle beds make the space flexible. Also being on a quiet side street was great with small kids.

The Perfect ACK Getaway!

What a lovely and well appointed house! The location is perfect for getting just about anywhere on island in a snap. Quiet neighborhood with privacy. Walking distance to town and observatory. Also quick by bike to beaches. The house had every amenity and then some. Outdoor shower, huge back deck and yard, nice beach chairs and even bikes! Well organized and appointed kitchen. There were so many extra thoughtful details that made for a particularly special experience. Kind and very professional communication with owners. We are life long Nantucket visitors and this is definitely a house we would rent again. Many thanks for sharing your family summer home with us! xox The Kennedys

Wonderful stay at a great well kept home!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The home is very clean and well maintained. The owner is very communicative and provides a wealth of information about the house and island. They also allow you to use beach items such as chairs and bikes that are at the house, and provide beach and bath towels, which saves a lot of packing! The house has a nice large clean kitchen, a washer/dryer, and a large backyard. We hope to come again!

Perfect home base

Great location, central to everything. Property was clean and well cared for. Loved the outside shower and all the beach gear! Owner was very easy to communicate with and a pleasure to work with. Perfectly suited for our family of four. Just got home but we miss Nantucket already!

Rick's property is everything you need on the island; the house is spotless, comfortable and well appointed ( appliances, dinnerware, bicycles, beautiful deck/grille). Additionally. ,the house is close to town, beach and bus routes. Awesome Place!

All you have to do is relax

Because they have thought of everything for you! The house is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and fully stocked (seasonings, coffee filters, paper goods, towels, fans, bikes and helmets, beach chairs, rain umbrellas, etc). The backyard is lush and peaceful. The location is ideal – quiet residential neighborhood within walking distance to historic district and easy access to bike path and bus. The owners go above and beyond in their communication making for a seamless and enjoyable stay. Can't wait to go back!

Autumn in Nantucket at Stardust

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable home! The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed the large deck and grilled some great meals. The outdoor shower came in handy when we returned from the beach. The large kitchen table was nice to sit around playing games! The weather was so beautiful we really didn't even use the Livingroom or tv much. We were lucky to stay at the Stardust.

What a week!

My husband and I took our 2 young children (ages 1 and 4) to Nantucket for the week. From the moment we booked, Rick was incredibly helpful with information and communication. The house was as described, very clean, fully stocked with whatever we needed (super appreciative of this!!) and it was close enough to town to walk or bike. We took two strollers with us and rented bikes with child attachments which is the primary way we got around during the week. We did rent a jeep for a short time for some longer ventures, but did not feel it was necessary. We spent time at the beaches, downtown, ate at several great restaurants and also took afternoon naps at the house =) The deck in the back in beautiful. We had a wonderful vacation!

Close to everything, and very well appointed.

My two cousins and I enjoyed our shoulder-season stay here very much. The house feels secluded yet is central enough to walk to town (via a lovely road that cuts through the nearby cemetery), with the bike paths to Cisco and Surfside easily accessible. Would highly recommend this well-appointed home for families in particular.

Location, location, location.

In a beautiful neighborhood but in the center of it all. Short bike ride to town, beaches or just around the neighborhood. We were so impressed with all the “extra” amenities like bikes for use, sugar and coffee filters, creative lists of must -do’s on the island, and even the outdoor shower. We enjoyed family time on the oversized deck and the grill was a plus! The house is perfect for families w children, but for three couples the third bedroom is definitely for the couple that drew the short straw... the bed situation is not adequate for adults. We spent 5 days at this lovely Nantucket home, and would definitely come back to this wonderful place.

Stardust felt like home away from home!

We had the loveliest week on Nantucket at Stardust. The house is so clean - both literally and figuratively - well maintained, impeccably neat and well-appointed. We were very comfortable there from the start - and every amenity we needed was provided for us. Minor issue with “check-in” - housekeepers or prior tenants had locked the doors, and we didn’t know where to find the hidden key. Rick was very quick to direct us to it, and from there on it was smooth sailing. We would absolutely love to stay at Stardust again and in fact, we hope to book it for 2020 SOON!

I have rented many times on Nantucket . By far this was the nicest home. The home was stocked with everything imaginable. From paper goods to spices. I brought si much with me, next time I will know better. Truly a nice week.

The Perfect ACK House

This beautiful house was perfect for our Nantucket vacation. We spent a week in Rick's house and couldn't have been happier. The perfect location and size. It was welcoming and comfortable and included every amenity you could think of. We had a small glitch with the gas grill and Rick had it taken care of in no time. We were there during some of the hottest days this Summer and there was always a nice breeze throughout the house. We hope to return again next Summer. Thank you Rick!

August Stay

We have been staying at Stardust for the past 4 years and every year has been wonderful. The house is alway immaculate and well stocked with everything we need for a beach vacation. It is also centrally located making it easy to get in and out of town, a quick trip to Cisco or any of the island's beaches. There is also a bus stop close by if you don't bring a car over to the island. We are already looking forward to our trip next summer!

Doubled up on the magic

Had our fourth stay at Stardust - this year for 2 weeks - and can't speak highly enough about how easy the booking process is and how lovely and accommodating the home is. It has everything you need, not to mention the best cross breeze on Island :) New spots like Yummy and 45 Surfside nearby are great alternatives to having to go on coffee runs in and around the Stop & Shop on Sparks Ave, and solar panels on the back roof were an exciting update to take note of. Perfect mid-island oasis of relaxation for family and friends.

Great experience

The house is located maybe a 10-15 minute walk outside of town which is ideal. We had great weather all weekend so spent the majority of it on the large deck out back. There are plenty of amenities in the house to keep you entertained as well. Overall, I'd highly recommend renting this property. Rick is great to deal with as well.
