Welcome to this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom Kentucky vacation rental in New Concord! Situated on a secluded setting complete with 2 catch-and-release ponds, a creek, and a fire pit, 'Beechy Bottom' provides a quintessential country getaway. Ideally located, the cabin is just 10 miles from Paris Landing State Park and 25 miles from The Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. Rest and relax in front of the flat-screen TV or cozy up in front of the wood-burning stove after a day of outdoor fun.

Cozy cabin! This was our second time staying here. The cabin has everything you would need for your stay. Inviting atmosphere. Very clean. Will definitely be booking here again.

Fall Break camping

Cabin was exactly as listed. We loved the remoteness but yet still around people. Beautiful property and the fishing was great.

Christmas break

We had the best time celebrating Christmas at the cabin. Peaceful and relaxing, just what we wanted and needed. The cabin was perfect for our family.

Relaxing stay

The cabin was the perfect combination of a private, remote location while still only being a short distance from town. We love tent camping this time of year, but with a 7 month old, the cabin was a great alternative. We enjoyed walking the property and fishing during the day, and huddling around the campfire at night. Having firewood provided was an especially nice touch. The host was exceptional as well. I highly recommend booking this cabin!

Quiet and Relaxing

We had a wonderful time here. Quiet and cozy cabin. Gorgeous property, ponds to fish in and a fire pit for the evening. We'll definitely be coming back here.

Amazing weekend getaway

Exactly as described, extremely responsive owners. Sat by the fire, fished off the dock, caught a lot of fish. Picnic table under a covered porch with the grill sat out to eat every night. Very secluded, beautiful and quiet. Highly recommend

First Fishing Trip

Nice peacefull location thatled to a relaxing and fun long weekend. It was our 5 year old grandson's first fishing trip. Picture perfect with large cat fish and the property's friendly dog.

Clean an comfortable, if you like remote and private, yet only minutes from everything this is the place for you. My 63 year old sister and I 58 years old we loved it not a better place in the area. Thankyou again to the owner.

Great

They stay was peaceful and relaxing. The house was well maintained and nice. My two sons and I had a blast fishing at the ponds, we caught one bass, bluegill and a lot of catfish. My wife sat on the dock with us and read her book. It was amazing to be off the road and have quiet time.

Mini getaway

This cabin was just as listed. We had everything we needed. The ponds were great, my kids loved to be able to fish. We had a great time. The owners were great and very responsive. There was a pretty bad storm that came through and they were quick to get the trees moved from the driveway so we could get out. I would definitely recommend.

Quiet but convenient for Murray Family Weekend

It was a breeze to get to and from Murray State while staying at this cabin. We were perfectly comfortable. Just a couple of notes as you consider this stay - the air conditioning is wall units and there isn't one in the second bedroom with the bunk beds. With the door open it was fine, but if you wanted to sleep with the door shut it would be a bit warm and stuffy. Kitchen was perfectly adequate for us because we did not cook. Counter space is limited if someone wanted to cook a full meal for a family or crew! Grateful that pets are allowed! Nice and clean. Hosts were responsive. Much appreciated.

Beautiful, relaxing week

We were looking for property with quiet open space and were not disappointed. The huge back yard with picnic table, fire pit and pond was completely fenced in so we did not worry about letting the dog run. Our 2, 12-year-old boys were able to fish, play football, chop wood and enjoy the outdoors. The kitchen had everything we needed, and although the inside space was small for the 6 of us, we brought in a couple of lawn chairs and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the evening, playing games and watching late movies. The bedrooms were good sized and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us to sleep (our son's family in the bunk beds and Grandma and Grandpa in the queen!) One day we spent at Land between the Lakes, picnicking and seeing the pioneer farm and the Bison and Elk area. One day we went to Fort Donnellson and then into Murray for pizza and wings. We loved the Remote Cabin and are planning another stay.

Totally misleading

The property described as secluded was not. The house was dusty the beds were dusty and I had to wash linens which required going into town for detergent.. a 30 min drive. Broken chairs in the yard, wadded up rug in the carport. There was a lot of activity on the property. We didn’t even stay 24 hours. I notified Liz and she called me and said she would contact someone about a refund. When I asked who she said “they handle all that and they will contact you.” I asked who “they” are and she wouldn’t give me an answer. So I am still hoping “they” will contact me with some sort of refund.

Hi Emily, we followed up with the homeowner after reading your review, and she would like to clarify a few points: - The property is secluded, though as we mention in the listing there is another rental onsite. - We were not made aware of any concerns at check-in, and we can verify that the cabin was thoroughly cleaned before your arrival. - The bedspreads are new, and the linens are always washed between guests. There is also laundry detergent available in the cabin if needed. - There are no broken chairs in the yard. The rug in the carport will occasionally get rolled up if the wind is strong enough. We would have been happy to fix that for you had you let us know. - Evolve confirmed that they have been in contact with you to determine if a refund is warranted. As homeowners, we are committed to making sure guests have a fantastic experience here, and if not, we do what we can to make it right.

There were no instructions upon check in the cabin was all left unlocked. We have kids and baby who crawls on the floor we had to clean the floor ourselves because it was not swept or mopped at all our babies legs were black instantly. It was filthy. No plug for bath. The window units weren’t on when we got there in high 90 heat so it was not usable. Once we finally got it cooling off and food in the oven the power went out. The owner told us for hours they would hook up a generator or put out food in their oven for our kids to eat but didn’t until almost 10 o’clock 3 hours later. We tried to leave but they said the power was back on so we turned around and went back… the power was not on. We were supposed to stay 4 nights but left after the 2nd morning I woke up with little bites in lines all up my side that look like bed bugs and my husband had a roach crawl across him in the living room. We started packing up to leave and notified the owner due to the unsafe conditions they didn’t reply to any messages at all and completely ghosted us. Terrible 4th of July stay!!!

The Best!! I won’t stay anywhere else!!

I’ve now stayed here on two different occasions while in the area on hunting trips. The cabins are in excellent condition and they are super clean. Jody and Dena are incredibly gracious hosts who go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have a great experience. Thanks for the great hospitality, I’ll see you again in November!

Great place to visit with family with little to no distractions. The cabin was very clean. We took our fur babies and they had so much fun running around the property. We have a student at Murray. Very convenient location. Loved it!!

More than peaceful

This was definitely what we needed. From the moment we turned off the main road the calming effect of this property took over. We were very fortunate that we were the only ones renting any of the cabins during our stay. Our dogs and us had totally free reign of the property and they loved running wild. No traffic, no people, just the sounds of nature filled our four days.

Very nice cabin!

Very nice cabin. Was loaded with everything you could possibly need. We really enjoyed the property. The stock ponds were great. The guys very much enjoyed catching and releasing catfish! Property manager was very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out process was very easy.

Piece of Paradise

Great location if you are looking for rest and relaxation. Owners were fantastic and offered assistance with anything we needed. Our German Shepherd loved the farm setting listening to nature all around her. Couldn't ask for anything more. Absolutely loved our stay

Mom getaway

I booked this property to have a mom getaway and visit my best friend that lives close. It was so peaceful and cute. I especially loved my furry visitors that came to see me every day in the form of 2 cute dogs.
