Great stay

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed some needed quiet low tech time with the kids. The owner was super responsive although there were no difficulties that required her to assist.

Me and my wife chose to spend our second anniversary here. We spent 7 days relaxing, boating, fishing and sitting around a campfire with friends. The owners were great as was the property. I can’t wait to return!

Quiet Cabin Getaway

Off the beaten path cabin in New Concord that offers quiet scenery. The kids thoroughly enjoyed fishing and the creek. Our cabin had a sweet little fire pit perfect for evening wind downs and s'more's. There’s also bee hives on the property and you can buy local honey.

Vacation with grandkids

We enjoyed staying. Kids wished they could have fished. They did swim and enjoyed the dog. Over all we loved our cabin

Great Place

The location is great for a cabin. Due to it being our daughter's wedding weekend, we didn't get to enjoy the cabin as much as we would have liked. The firepit outside was so cozy!

Peaceful Retreat

Much needed peaceful retreat. It was quiet and scenery was great. I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in getting away from the everyday hassles.

Visiting with family

We had a wonderful time in the hills of Kentucky. There was enough room to sleep ten people. Quiet, out in the woods cabin. Lovely. Everyone enjoyed their stay.

Nice little cabin outside of hustle of town, but it was not as private as the photos implied, I didnt even think it was the right cabin bc of all the buildings and stuff around it, the photos looked like it was more open and alone. It seems the ponds turned over so we didnt even see a fish just crawdads. But it was honestly a great time, and the kids and dogs loved it, so although it wasnt exactly what we expected, it as not disappointing or anything and we loved it! There was plenty of linens, and although the AC wall unit is in the living/kitchen room but there were fans provided to blow cool air into the bedrooms! The wifi was great!

It’s cute! When we walked it, we could smell it was freshly cleaned and had a cute welcome book about the cabin. We received a text from the property manager asking if we had any needs and welcomed us. It was quiet and a relaxing weekend away. Bring a fishing pole for the catch and release pond. The property also has a mysterious BIG bunny that was fun to check up on.

My family of 7 rented 2 cabins and they were amazing the owner was beyond accommodating. A bad storm came through and fried the WiFi they did everything they could to get it working right away. Also the property was beautiful and clean. Will be returning.

Perfect family getaway

My family and I were looking for a nice relaxing getaway and we sure got it. This was by far the best trip we’ve ever taken. Not only did we enjoy our stay we found a new home away from home. This place is so peaceful and quiet. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The owners were very nice and welcoming. They make it a very easy and effortless experience. One of the nicest things is we had no cell service so we got to detach from all stresses of life. The only disappointing part of this trip was having to leave this little piece of heaven in the woods and we can’t wait to go back.

Perfect

My family stayed 4 nights here in July and absolutely had a wonderful time. It was the perfect secluded getaway. We really enjoyed the property and the ponds on the property. We fished every day! My 4 year old out fished us all and caught a monster catfish! The property and surrounding area is beautiful. Very relaxing and peaceful. It's a little bit of a drive to anything but dollar general but that's what we was looking for! The property manager was very attentive and friendly. Check in and check out was super easy! Nothing but great things to say about our stay! We will definitely be visiting again 😊

Was okay.. Not worth it for long travelers.

We traveled from Central Ohio to stay here (8hrs). The cabin was nice. However, for the long hours of travel, the place wasn't worth the trip. The ponds were not as clean as shown in the pictures. Definitely not for swimming. The cabin has a little funny smell, which we figured out was the carpet in the living room. Smelled of urine. We found the creek, which was mostly dried up and not as expected. Across the creek was a field which wasn't mowed very well. It basically boils down to the description of the property making it look and sound better than it actually is.

Hi there, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following: - The home is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before each guest's stay. - This is the first time the owner has received feedback regarding an odor. When you spoke with the owner, we wish you would've told them your concern with a smell. They would have been more than happy to help to look into and address the issue while you were in residence to make your stay most comfortable. - Guests usually don't swim in the pond but enjoy it and use the pond for fishing. - While the water levels of the creek are out of the owner's control, we're sorry if this impacted your stay. - Any land passed the creek does not belong to the owner so the field is not their property to keep maintained. The owner does all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!
