Welcome to The Rustic Retreat, a freshly remodeled getaway designed for comfort, relaxation, and adventure. With two cozy queen bedrooms and a full pull-out couch in the living room, our home comfortably sleeps up to six guests, perfect for families, couples, or friends looking to unwind. 

Enjoy cooking in the fully updated kitchen with all-new appliances and take advantage of the modern Samsung washer/dryer combo during your stay. We found the stay quite enjoyable. The amenities were fantastic. The house was really clean and well stocked. We found the owners to be very easy to communicate with and very helpful. We would highly recommend!

Everything was amazing! We loved the space, the thoughtful decor, and the quietness of the property. It was such a restful spot for our family, and just a mile down the road from hiking and horseback riding at Turkey Run. We especially loved the front porch! Hope to be back again sometime!

Cute little place perfect for two couples or small family. Great access to Turkey Run state park as well as other places in the county. Well stocked kitchen and appreciated amenities like toiletries and ability to do laundry

We loved our stay! The outside was so relaxing and fun. It was a wonderful location and the cabin had everything we needed. I really appreciated so many of the little things- the standing portable fan, the state park pass, the quality plates/cups, comfy blankets and the big tv and electrical fireplace. We plan to return! My one recommendation is to put a pillow top on one of the beds since they’re both SO firm.

Communication with Nicole was great. The cabin was perfectly located near the Turkey Run main entrance, if needed a state park pass was available. Cabin was clean, appliances worked well and was an overall cozy experience. Would return and recommend.

This was an incredible place. The house was so well stocked and every last detail considered. The hostess was very easy to reach with our small questions. Quiet property, but still close to towns to explore. We will be back!

Great Experience near Turkey Run State Park. We had a large family group who was camping at Turkey Run, and a few of us were interested in being as close as possible in a home. This one delivered. It only took a quick 2 minute drive to get to the campsite. The home was just as advertised. We enjoyed using the hot tub, and wish we had more time to play all of the yard games too! In the age of "too many checkout instructions," we were also pleasantly surprised at the minimum requests from the hosts here. We highly recommend and will likely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the rustic retreat! It is clean and appears to be newly renovated. Very inviting, relaxing, and fun. Lots of blankets to cozy up inside and peaceful scenery to enjoy outside. Assuming you plan to explore at Turkey Run State Park, the free admission pass is a great perk offered by the hosts! We also enjoyed a couple campfires (wood included), grilling on the Blackstone, and playing games (including the customized outdoor bowling set). Very impressed with the smart washer/dryer combo as well. This place definitely has a personal touch, lots of attention to detail, with a home away from home feeling.

This is the perfect place right near Turkey Run. We opted to "glamp" while our family was tent camping for a big fam reunion. This was the perfect location for back & forth from Turkey Run. The hosts have made the space very comfortable, cute decor, the front patio is PERFECT to take in nature. Would highly recommend for anyone heading to Turkey Run area.

The Rustic Retreat did not disappoint! Adorable inside and out, we enjoyed the lit porch, the fun egg chairs, the outdoor games, the Blackstone, and the hot tub. They were all great amenities for our family of four. We will definitely stay again when we are back in the area!

Clean and cute! Perfect location to Turkey Run. Had everything we needed. Loved the front porch for relaxing and the hot tub for enjoying the lightning bug show and star watching after a long day of hiking.
