This condo has a private lanai overlooking our own fluffy white sand beach and the beautiful turquoise Gulf--each photo has been taken from the actual unit you'd be renting, #408. This beachfront is one of the nicest, widest, fine-sand beaches in all of Destin and the pool and sauna are always perfectly heated.
The nightly rate includes all occupancy, daily amenity usage wristbands, Wi-Fi and parking fees (all paid by the owner and included in your nightly rate--no hidden fees upon arrival). Sterling Sands is located directly on the Gulf, and also known for our beautiful, nicely heated pool and hot tub overlooking the Gulf!
King bed in primary bedroom with bunk beds in second bedroom, all ceramic tile with carpeting in the bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen with granite counter-tops and stainless steel appliances and full bathrooms with tubs, a Jacuzzi & granite sink-tops.
There are 3 large flat screen TV's, and the LR has a sleeper couch that has an awesome thick mattress when pulled out (it's a Cozy Mattress®), which allows for a variety of comfortable sleeping quarters for up to 4 adults or children in total. Open-style breezeway halls and 2 elevators and stairs if you prefer.
Watch dolphins on the comfortable, easy to move around lanai furniture (can even put portable table on Lanai for breakfast!) from this beautiful 4th floor perspective-not too high so you can't see the beach, not too low so people can see in. There is a fitness center and the pool is heated to 87 degrees year-round.
The Grillin’ chillin’ gazebo is awesome! Have family gatherings using the gas grills provided by the building or just enjoy overlooking the widest, powder-soft sand beach Destin has to offer.
When you compare our 380 feet of beach and 110 unit building to others, you'll see you get much more beach for your own quiet enjoyment than anywhere else.
As a convenience, we have a beach service company hut where you can privately arrange a la carte daily or weekly beach service which includes 2 chairs and 1 umbrella set up for you from March 1 - Oct. 31 each year. This service is separately arranged between you the guest, and Sun, Sand & Beach Service, Inc. Their rates for 2026 are $55/day for a single day or $50 a day for more than one day of service.
Max Occupancy: 4 Humans (meaning, 4 adults OR children/babies, as per fire code) Please note: There is absolutely no way to add any more guests than 4 humans in total; there is a physical check-in process, security, and resort wristbands required (all included in the room rate) and you will forfeit your payments if you attempt to have more than 4 guests.
Parking is off the street, included in the rate of this booking, and more than ample with 240 spaces.
Absolutely no pets of any size, sorry. Also, "no emotional support animals". With advanced documentation we happily accept "service dogs", which I can clear with management ahead of time.
Prices and minimum nights' stay requirements are subject to change for future dates, prior to a firm reservation. Once your reservation is in place, nothing changes and your reservation is secure. If you have specific dates in mind please don't hesitate to use the "instant book" feature on this website so your dates don't get shut out.
I've arranged for professional cleaning by a local company and please keep in mind this is a private condo building and not a hotel---there is no room service, additional towels, or bell-hop. I am also not responsible for condition of the Gulf, beach, construction in the Destin area or renovations within the building.
The rest of this description is about the no smoking rules:
There is absolutely no smoking in or around any of the buildings, no smoking in any of the common areas including stairwells, no smoking in my apartment, on the balcony or on the beach.
There is a covered, outdoor smoking section at the very front of the property, on Highway 98, where there is a bench with a smoker's outpost ashtray. Smoking anywhere except the designated area is an evictable offense.
Smoking is defined as inhaling, exhaling, burning, carrying, or possessing any lighted tobacco products including cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, lighted marijuana, e-cigarettes, or similar products that produce vapor in the simulation of smoking.
No resident, guest, or occupant shall permit smoke of any kind from their unit to migrate into common elements, balconies, or other units, thus creating an unreasonable source of annoyance to other owners.
The "Migration" Rule: Even if you are smoking "near" an open door or window, if the smoke drifts into a hallway, a neighbor’s balcony, or another unit, you are in violation.
Security will be strictly enforcing the no smoking rules. Violators will be reported to the management for eviction and if you are evicted, there is zero refund for any portion of the trip.
The ONLY exception: You must go to the covered bench, by the Highway 98 entrance, to smoke.
