After an easy flight from Leeds Bradford to Skiathos Airport, we were met by Enterprise Cars before making our way to the port to catch the SeaJets ferry to Skopelos. Throughout our journey, our wonderful hosts, Anthoula and Tomas, kept in touch, offering help, advice, and guidance to ensure everything went smoothly. Their English is excellent, which was a huge help!On arrival, Tomas personally led us to the house, which is tucked away high on the hillside and boasts the most spectacular views of the crystal-blue sea below. The property is absolutely beautiful and truly feels like a home from home. The kitchen is a real cook's kitchen, thoughtfully designed and fully equipped, with French doors opening onto the pool terrace and those breathtaking views beyond. Our daughters quickly claimed the two upstairs double bedrooms, each with its own balcony, where they could soak up the incredible scenery every day.Surrounded by olive trees, the house feels wonderfully secluded and private. The pool is amazing looking directly down on the sea below. The only sounds to accompany your day are the gentle sea breeze and the song of the zizikia (cicadas). The bathrooms are lovely, with fantastic showers that were a welcome luxury after a day exploring the island and swimming in the incredibly clear seas. The only downside to our stay was having to hand the keys back to Tomas at the end of our holiday!
