Make this your summer cottage. Sweet little bungalow one block from beach.

Our little beach house is lovingly cared for and carefully maintained. It is the perfect spot to rest after a day on the beach.

Comfortably fits a couple or two friends. House has a lofted bedroom upstairs with full size bed, a living room, a sun room, kitchen and bright bathroom.

Everyone who visits enjoys all the special touches and the cozy atmosphere.

We are a block from the beach and close to the ice cream shop and bakery. We have parking right next to the house and our own picnic table too.

Wonderful little place to spend a week away on the beach. Close to all Lavallette activities and quick walk to the beach. Neighbors were very friendly and inviting. Only issue was Hurricane Erin! otherwise totally recommend.

Excellent stay

Perfect house for two people, everyone around us was so nice and so helpful with recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The house has everything you could need and everything is so close by we walked everywhere and left the car in the driveway. The host answered anytime I messaged. Highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!

Pleasant stay

Location is good. The street itself is private and made of sand so our 2 yr old could play outside. Close to everything you need. The house itself is clean and for the most part has what you need. We did have to buy our own toilet paper and bring our own bedding, towels, pillows, etc which was a lot to pack. That being the only downside. Everything else was great. Checkin was easy and Laurel was very accommodating. Definitely recommend staying here!

Nice small place

The property was very clean when we checked in and very well stocked with stuff needed for our trip. Very quiet little neighborhood. It’s a little small but that was communicated well beforehand. We loved our stay!!

I had such an Amazing Wonderful Relaxing Time!! I wish i could stay there forever!!! It was over 20 yrs since i had a vacation... and this was just what i needed!! I extended my stay an extra week... so worth it!!! You accommodated My wish to stay in your adorable little bungalow!! THANK YOU

Charming, quiet and perfect

Everything from the first communication with Laurel to the ease of check in / check out was exceptionally pleasant. The house is a perfectly charming, clean and quiet retreat with everything one needs for a low key beach vacation - comfortable living room, lovely sun room and efficient AC units. We loved the neighborhood - particularly the bakeries & ice cream shop at the corner. We’re already taking about next year at Laurel’s. This home / owner is a true treasure.

Quaint cottage

My daughter and I had a lovely week in Laurel’s beach cottage. The owner was very informative and attentive. We enjoyed the neighborhood and location which was close to the beach, shops and dining options.

Great two weeks at cozy beach house

After enrolling our 7 and 4 year old daughters at a nearby swim school, we reserved this property as our home base for two weeks, not really knowing the area or having been to the Jersey shore before. All around, it met our needs and provided a nice vacation for our group of one adult and two kids. We appreciated the simplicity and basic amenities the property provided, and were fine with a cozy environment that was a block and a half from a peaceful, clean and quiet beach, rather than a larger property further away. The house was clean and had pretty much everything we needed. The location was great for taking advantage of the shops and restaurants on the main drag of Lavalette, movies at the Gazebo, and the ice cream shop at the end of the block. It was also a brief drive to downtown Pt. Pleasant and the Pt. Pleasant Boardwalk, which was a hit with the kids. Laurel was great to work with...very responsive via email and text, though candidly there wasn't too much to discuss as everything was in order and easy to find during our stay. It's a great option for a couple's getaway, or a parent and two younger kids. Thanks for the hospitality.

Charming Little Doll House

Laurel was very pleasant and easy to work with. The house was spotless and comfortable. The bathroom was tiny and the loft worked for me since I am short. There is a pull out bed downstairs though. The front porch has two rockers which I enjoyed. There is a picnic table outside. The Bay and the Beach were within walking distance. We were able to walk the beach each morning and watch sunsets at the Bay in the evenings. The bay is perfect for small children.

A Wonderful Experience

We had a wonderful two week stay this August at Laurel and Sue's cottage. The cottage itself was charming and cozy, and provided everything you would need for a beach getaway. The beach is two, very walkable, short blocks away and is notable for its spaciousness and relative privacy. Many good restaurants are within a two mile radius. If you are unfamiliar with the Ortley Fish Market, you might want to sample their New England Clam Chowder or Lobster Bisque for takeout; it's as good as any soup served on Cape Cod. Sue and Laurel are exceptional hosts; you will definitely not find a better property at this price point so close to a truly exceptional beach at the Jersey shore.

AMAZING!!

We stayed here and couldn’t be happier! The house was adorable, clean, and perfect! There are so many personal touches that make it feel like home/part of the family. There were so many great things, like the sound soother, Alexa, the guest book, movies, ceiling frame paintings, etc. everything was beautiful. The street is quiet and right next to not only the ice cream parlor but also a bakery. It was also like a 5 minute walk to the beach. We can’t wait to stay here again next year! Thank you for creating a perfect little getaway!

Perfect Getaway

Cute beach house and very friendly neighborhood. The property is in a great location, just a short walk to the beach, the sunset, ice cream shop, a bakery and downtown. We had a wonderful visit!

The place was clean & had everything I needed for a relaxing week at the Jersey Shore.

The owner was very responsive to any needs and was even concerned that it happened to be a rainy week & delayed my check out so I could have more time on the beach. The neighbors we met were very welcoming & friendly. It was a great place to relax & unwind at the Jersey Shore.

Very clean, compact, sweet little house has everything you need. Furnished with attractive and thoughtful touches. Who did the art on the ceiling trim planks?...it's great! Helpful host and family-friendly neighborhood. Bring your linens, food and beach gear and you're all set for a peaceful stay.

Warm cozy cottage so close to the beach!

The house was extremely clean, comfy and overall a great experience. We stayed the weekend and the owners were flexible and accommodating for our specific needs. They are extremely responsive and make sure your stay is truly a five star experience. The house is in a perfect location; steps away from the beach, bakery, ice cream shoppe and you are close to everything you need and more. The environment is also fantastic; friendly neighbors, a real sense of community and made us feel extremely welcome. No doubt we will be returning!
