The Space:

Grab your sandals and sunscreen and head for the coast! This charming Rockaway Beach cottage, located just across the street from the majestic Pacific, is the perfect way to experience one of Oregon's most beloved seaside towns.



With beach access only 150 feet away, you'll be able to step out your front door and stroll over to the ocean any time you want. Watch for whales, explore tidal pools, or fly a kite in the brisk sea breeze. You'll also be right in the heart of Rockaway, so you can easily walk north or south along the highway to shops, restaurants, and other attractions. Be sure to pay a visit to the Tillamook Cheese Factory (13 miles south), where you can sample one (or two) of its 43 mouth-watering flavors of ice cream. Then head back home to watch the sun set behind the towering Twin Rocks offshore.



This sunny vacation rental provides a quiet, private place to rest up in between your excursions. Will not use vacasa again

The house was not clean, the Wi-Fi and tv were not working, you couldn’t open many windows because there are no screens, the ceiling fan in one of bedrooms was not secure and made a loud noise..it is right over the bed so even if you were able to sleep through the noise, it seemed unsafe. I had to talk to about 7 different representatives who weren’t able to address the issue and ended up barely getting any sleep 1 of 2 nights. It was truly the worst experience I have ever had with rental properties. It was a bummer with such a great location.

Charming house and 1 block walk to the beach and downtown Rockaway. Just perfect for a weekend stay and walks on the beach.

Wonderful time

Enjoyed every aspect of this property. Great layout and proximity to all our excursions; comfy beds, great to have washer/dryer use. Would highly recommend and would stay here again

Beach house bungalow Rockaway Oregon

This is a cute small beachy older home. Good cable TV and internet access. Since it was a working vacation internet is a priority for me. Easy beach access. I had a hard time sleeping there the beds are uncomfortable and the outdoor lights from the hotel across the street blared into the house, and it’s right next to a train that shakes the whole house. Also it’s not set up very well for meal preparation, its fine for a couple of nights but my stay was two weeks and I like to cook for myself. I’m not really sure why you are advertising for this listing because the owners use Vacasa and I think I had to pay for your service and theirs, so that really added to the cost.

Awesome location cute updated heritage home

This house is cute as a button. Updated with all the modern conveniences and decor. Beds were very comfortable as well as the furnishings. Had everything we needed and more. The location was absolutely perfect! Will be back again for sure!

Nice and quite

It was nice and relaxing. Only had DVD working. Text management they explain what I had already tried. So just enjoyed time there.

Nice getaway

There’s no cable the listing states no cable but the TV instructions stated there is cable. Slats on bed were fallen so we slept in the low bed in other bedroom. Overall nice stay!

Large family vacation

We booked this property kinda last minute and I was a little concerned. We were traveling 8 hours with 6 kids under 9. When we arrived I was delighted to see the house! The outside was clean and well kept, there is an outside space for the kids to play, chairs provided and off the road parking. When we went inside we quickly found that there was everything that we needed at the house! Extra pillows and blankets, plenty of towels, a whole closet full of games, toys and DVDs. Even as a family of 8 this house was perfect for us! We were not cramped, the kids were well entertained and the beach was a 30 second walk across the street. I highly recommend this home and will be coming back again!

Hidden gem in Rockaway Beach!

This property is well-maintained and adorable with a great location near the beach and the main strip of the town. The outdoor patio and front porch were nice places to relax. My teenage daughter and I enjoyed our getaway and liked the proximity to Manzanita and Cannon Beach for day outings. Sunsets on the beach every night were a highlight and we liked that it felt less crowded and earthier than some nearby towns.

Awful experience!

These are the issues we encountered at this rental: The rental license expired in June, 2020!! The batteries were dead in the automatic lock. The towels, folded and in the cupboards, were still very damp. The washer and dryer were full of wet sheets....not ours. The pots and pans are old and were dirty. The stovetop and fridge door were dirty. The lightbulbs were out in the kitchen and in one of the bedrooms. Bedding (comforters, etc.) were wadded up and piled in the only closet in the main bedroom leaving not much room for clothes. We were not comfortable at all with the level of cleaning basing it on what we could actually see. This is especially troubling with COVID concerns. We would have left had we not been there for our son's wedding and couldn't find anything else on short notice. Awful experience!

Cute Bright Beach Cottage close to beach

Perfect place to put your feet up or hit the sand and waves just steps away from the door. Rumble of the train and seagulls sounds made for an amazing additional to our daytime experience. This cottage had everything we needed including beach towels! Enjoyed coffee off the deck, our own parking space, lots of sleeping options. Only missing a half bath which would have eased our 5 person party from waiting for their turn. But nothing we couldn't deal with. We exhaled and let the soothing colors and easy beach charm of this house win us over!! We will stay again!

Perfect for family vacation

We loved the close location of the beach. Central to Cannon Beach and Tillamook. Perfect size for our family of 5. Only thing to make it better would be a few more staple kitchen items. We left cooking spray so 1 less thing for the next fam to worry about.

Everything was great, location, cleanliness, decor, amenities, except for the bed in the upstairs room with the white frame. There is a hump in the middle and the top and bottom of the frame came out so that my head and feet were lowered. Fix the bed or better yet, replace the frame and this review is 5 stars.

Sweet house and lovely location

This was the sweetest rental - I can’t wait to come back again and again. My two besties and I had a two night stay and enjoyed the beach, cooking in and movies and games and crafting. The house is beautiful, clean and cute! We had the best time and can’t wait to go again.

Beautiful and relaxing!

We were visiting with family at another nearby location so we didn’t get to stay at the cottage for long, but we REALLY wanted to be there more because it is so beautiful, cozy, peaceful and relaxing. Being so near the beach was wonderful as we’d just walk down the beach to where the rest of our family was. We will return so we can really enjoy this place for longer!
