Upon arrival, it appeared to be cleaned and well taken care of, but once we were ready for bed, we were moving the living room table to be able to let out the pull out couch bed, there was crackers and candy pieces under the table as well as under the couch. I had my two year old son with us that would have for sure at the candy that appeared to be m&ms. I vacuumed it up and the entire living too just for peace of mind. Then when it was time for me to get in bed, we pulled the bed covers back and it looked as if someone had at spaghetti in bed, there was red markings all over the bed. We emailed Dawn and she asked us to call her, when speaking with her, she just kept saying I wish yall would have called sooner etc, offering to have someone come change the bed sheets, etc. but brushing off the fact she knows for sure it was all cleaned despite me telling her. There was mold on the bottom of the shower curtain and the tub plug looked extremely moldy as well. Looks like they did a surface clean and not actually cleaning. The rules stated to not strip the bedding that house keeping would take care of it, well looks to me they are just making the bed that was slept in, back up, and calling it clean. Very small condo, pictures appear larger but in person, if you don’t want to sit on top of someone or be at a surface cleaned condo, don’t waste your money.

Wonderful condo with a comfy bed! Lots of construction that was supposed to be on the front of the condo the week we were there. But sadly ended up on the back too and interfered with having morning coffee on the balcony and we had to walk to the tower next door for beach access the whole week we were there. For someone recovering from a full knee replacement, that was lots of extra walking that wasn’t fun at all. The owners are wonderful. This is the 2nd time we have stayed with these owners and it won’t be our last.

Beautiful condo. Love the location and the Long Beach Resort. Unit was spacious for a one bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The balcony is so spacious! We had a great week here. Only notes for improvement are: Unit could use some deep cleaning and perhaps an upgrade on the washer and dryer so loads can be washed and dried at the same time. Also, while we were aware of the construction, it was not clear that all access points to the beach and pool were closed from our tower. We had to walk through the parking lot to Tower 2 for beach access. The water was also turned off for a half day for one of the days. The property manager was very quick to respond they were not aware ahead of time on these two things unfortunately. This was only a minor inconvenience but worth noting.

Don’t stay here

It was so disappointing to spend so much money for this condo. It was surface clean only. The sliding doors don’t lock. They are rusted. The refrigerator is held together with packing tape. The ventihood didn’t work. The coffee pot said clean the day we got there. Everything in there is old so I don’t know why it says it’s been remodeled. The only good thing I can say is the view on the 3rd floor balcony is Beautiful of the ocean.

Dirty and no shower supplies

The condo was extremenly dirty. There was garbage and old food under the bed. We had no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash either.

winter beach getaway

We loved the location and convenience of the condo to the beach and shopping. It had a well stocked kitchen. There was plenty of storage in the bedroom and bathroom. I found the place to be clean on the surface but as a previous review read, it needs a deep clean, it still needs a deep clean. I already miss the sound of the waves.

Great location and view

Nice location and view. Outdated for the price. Needs upgrading. The recliner tilts when you sit on it, seems like it’s on its last leg and your gonna fall to the right. Bed is comfortable but seems like it’s a queen and twin put together, we kept sliding in a hole it felt like. Comforter inserts kept falling to the foot of the bed leaving you with just a sheet by the morning. Over all, we had a great stay but for the price we paid, needs updating big time.

Great place

Great place to stay and the host was great to work with besides one issue. Our pool was closed the entire week besides one day and we were never told anything about the pool being closed so we had to walk down to the other pool if we wanted to swim. We felt like we should have been told the pool would be closed due to construction. Only other complaint is the living room furniture needs a definite upgrade. Couch and recliner were both very uncomfortable.

Great location, great balcony, needs a good cleaning

The location is perfect. The view in the balcony were great. The access for my 86 year old mom could not have been better. No matter where your condo was, the elevator was not far away. The condo however, was dirty. When you walked in the smell of Fabuloso was overpowering. I do believe they wiped all the surfaces in the kitchen down and the bathroom. They said they were focused on Covid and killing germs. The vents were covered in dust, the area rug in the living room was gross. It was so brown and matted. When I called to complain, they did come and dust right away. They offered to remove the rug, however that would have left us with just a tile floor and we were afraid my mom would slip. We just made sure we wore our shoes or socks at all times. Several of our utensils were rusted, which I understand happens when you’re at the beach, but they needed to be replaced. Thankfully, my mom brought her pillow, but my sister and I had to go to Walmart and purchase pillows because the ones in the condo smelled like bad breath and had yellow stains on them. When I talked to Bill, he said 4 times if I wanted to stay at the four seasons, I should have booked at the four seasons. Quite honestly, I did not want to stay at the four seasons. This place could have been perfect if it was just clean. I will note that we did get this condo at a good price because we booked it last minute. Had we paid full price I would have been very upset.

Relaxation

The place is as pictured. It is very nice! The view is amazing! I would stay here again and recommend! We had a great time relaxing on the beach, for a very last minute vacation! We had no problems with booking or during our stay! I would suggest a few things: bring an alarm clock, if you like to see the time, there is only one wall clock in the livingroom and the battery was dead. Bring oil to cook with, the pans are red copper type and have been burnt to pieces( i used the 2 small ones, doubling my cooking time, because the biggest pan looks beyond rough) so everything sticks! If not familiar with these type pans, research them before cooking( I cook with these at home, they are not your typical Teflon pan).The bedroom ceiling fan had thick dust on it( definitely not routinely wiped down), I took a few minutes to clean the blades before turning on the fan; but I am a clean freak. Also, if you are looking forward to the garden tub, there is no drain stop. There are many attractions conveniently around and Duplin Winery is a must go to! I am a clean freak,

Cute Condo - Pictures are the actual condo!

This is a very cute condo. The pictures are just what the listing looks like. We did have an issue where our smoke alarm went off and kept going off no matter what we tried to do to get it to stop, so we call Lynn and was able to get this taken care of quickly while we were at the beach. Positive: - bed is comfy but not too soft nor too hard. -Balcony is AMAZING with wonderful views - Large Kitchen Area - Plenty of space in the bathroom sink area. - 3rd floor- GREAT GREAT Views - Bill had great communication with us! Downside: - There was not a plug to take a bath so it was mainly showers and personal preference here I wanted to soak some in a tub. - Washer/Dryer combo - this is a plus for the condo but the downside is that it is not able to do both washing and drying at the same time, so it cuts in on being able to do laundry. - No broom to be able to sweep up sand that you would track in. Amenities (NO REFLECTION ON THE OWNERS OR THE CONDO ITSELF) - The lazy pool in the middle, closes at dark there are no pool lights and it really stinks after being on the beach all day and wanting to have a night swim you couldn't in that pool. - Tower 1/2 Pool - it stayed open LATE which was nice but with the other pool being closed (and it is the larger one) this pool was a little over ran at times. - Elevator was FAST this is an A= - Trash chute, this was covered up and broken I can only assume so taking out the trash became a hassle - Security was very rude to people.

Vacation

First of all it was very out dated, the refrigerator icemaker side of door was taped on. there was no icemaker, was very dirty with dust, was not clean to my satisfaction. Therefore was not really settled there I have stayed in Bill Patterson property and have never been this disappointed

fabulous condo

Condo was perfect! Loved the layout, there were three of us girls and there was enough space for everything. Great location on the third floor and easy walk right out onto the beach to our chairs. There was a small issue with the shower and it was fixed immediately. Great communication with condo manager. Highly recommend this condo.
