Master bedroom has king size bed and full bath. Second bedroom has twin beds with full bath. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Beautifully decorated rooms in bright colors with floral and Floridian themes.

When planning a trip to the beautiful Gulf Coast Beaches, stay at our property. All of our private beautiful condominiums feature full kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms and a balcony or patio to enjoy. We offer pool and garden, gulf and gulf front beach views. Our property features a heated pool, shuffleboard court, full tennis court and an immaculate private, white sandy beach.

Great spring break!

We had a wonderful stay at Sand Cay! Our condo was perfect (320), and had everything we needed. It was very clean, and just the right size for our family of 4. The access to the beach and pool was super easy. We had a great trip, and will be back!

Great Location

Condo was in a great location -- just steps to the beach and pool. Appreciated the beach toys/boogie boards and beach towels in the unit since we flew in with our kids. Also nice that chairs are available on the beach at no additional charge.

Beach get away

So easy to walk from condo down to the beach and enjoy the sun and take walks. Nice clean unit with plenty of space.

Nice Condo in a great location

spent a long weekend with friends in this condo. We road our bikes everywhere with many shops and restaurants close by. The beach was lovely with plenty of chairs. The condo was clean and a nice size. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great Condo with great location.

Very well designed and clean condo right on the beach. Beautiful interior decor and furniture with great kitchen with everything you would need on vacation. We loved the stay. One recommendation we would make is replace the master bedroom mattress due to its age and major deformation.

Fun Spring Break

Perfect accommodations, great amenities for children, wonderful gulf view, not crowed, very relaxing, close to great restaurants and shopping. I will go back!

First stay at Sand Cay.... Hope to return!

Great location with a nice view. Very clean and well furnished. Loved the "nook" with the small sleeper sofa. Only one constructive comment .... master bedroom mattress probably should be replaced.

Hated to leave this little piece of Paradise!!!

We could not have been happier with this property and the rental process. Beautiful Gulf view from the unit and balcony. Steps from a pristine beach. Longboat Key really impressed us as first time travelers here. We certainly hope to come back. Thanks Lyn for allowing us to enjoy this condo!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Sand Cay was our 5th vacation there. We love it. The location is perfect, the condo was great, the facilities are all designed to make your stay comfortable and convenient. We love the quiet and peaceful location that is close to fabulous restaurants, shopping, and activities. I would give five stars to the staff, too. They are so friendly and helpful. We recommended Sand Cay to several friends who are now yearly renters there as well. We hope to make Sand Cay our vacation spot every year.

Will Try Again

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked Unit 320 in September. During our stay we had a major plumbing issue which the resort management handled swiftly. This required us to use another nearby unit for showers, bathrooms. Once the plumbers resolved the problem we settled back in and enjoyed our stay. The unit was otherwise impeccable. We will definitely give this place another try.

Long weekend getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is well maintained and clean. Master bedroom mattress is caving in and needs replacement. Carpet in both bedrooms could also use an upgrade. Partial view from the balcony is nice, if the palm trees were trimmed down would help. Parking is close to the unit.

Unit 320 review

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off the gulf view consisted of the top of trees and the horizon, no sand no shore and could not see people in water. Next you took the elevator out of service all day Sunday which condemned my invalid wife and myself to stay in our room all day. The elevator was not broke, you gave us no warning, you did not tell us when we rented. I fully intend to sue you for 1/3 of my money back!

It is always best to go to our official website and look at the pictures and virtual tours before you book your reservation so that you can see the views etc... The pictures do reflect the view that you would see from your unit. Unfortunately we did have an unexpected issue with the elevator while you were here that was not expected, and it had to be shut down for safety purposes. We are very sorry for the inconvenience that you had that day. Sometimes things happen that are beyond our control, and as a curtesy we offered to help you with anything that you needed as far as getting up and down the stairs to your unit. Your comfort is key while staying here and our staff is always willing to help! : ) We did give you a refund on the day of departure due to the elevator being down. Happiness is!! Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy staying at Sand Cay. We had two issues this time: we had a dangerously faulty outlet in the second bedroom where young children slept. We called Monday morning but the problem wasn't taken care of. We had to call back Tuesday morning and soon after we called the problem was fixed. We stayed in unit 320 and the elevator was not working when we left on 1/18. Someone from the office said they would send someone up to help us with our large suitcases Thursday morning but no one showed up.

The mattress in all the rooms were horrible, very uncomfortable! The last night we were there we saw a roach in the kitchen counter top. The apartment will benefit from some furniture updates! We will be back to sand key, but next time I’ll try a different unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved Sand Cay but would not stay in this unit 320 again. Master bedroom mattress was terrible and needs to be replaced. Plus this unit did not provide basic needs like a sponge for the kitchen sink or coffee filters or salt and pepper....actually, don’t know if that is the unit owners decision or Sand Cay’s. Either way, it’s annoying to have to buy such items if you are only staying for a week. Before you book, ask questions about these things.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 2nd time at Sand Cay and overall we still love the place. We aren't real picky as we care most about the location, the beach and a balcony with a nice view. Out room 320 was clean and ready for us. For a premium room it really needs some updating. The baths are OK but the furniture and wall decor it early 80's. The mattress is also ready for retirement. It was well stocked although a few condiments would be nice (no salt). Appliances worked well, especially the ice maker. A/C was in good shape. And had plenty of beach stuff. Could upgrade the styrofoam beach cooler.

Great beach resort

We loved our stay at Sand Cay! Pros: resort is just steps to private beach with lots of beach chairs available. Pool area also has lots of seating. Condo (#320) was well stocked in kitchen as well as beach toys, towels & umbrellas. Private balcony with views of the gulf. Cons: Condo (#320) master bed is worn out and should be replaced. No washer/dryer in unit like some units have (but there is on-site laundry). Not walkable to restaurants/shops ( must drive 3-5 miles ). We will definitely be back to this resort for a quiet beach vacation, if looking for more touristy spot this is likely not the resort for you.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Sand Cay complex is a beautiful property. We rented unit 320 for 6 weeks. Melissa, the property manager and her team are great. Maintenance team is very responsive.During our stay the refrigerator broke and the repair and replacement was prompt. Our unit was partially updated but I was disappointed with a half size dishwasher and the worst sagging mattress in the master that I have ever experienced. In the future I would return to the complex but chose a different unit.complex 5 starsunit 3 stars
