The biggest challenge during our stay was the check-in process. We spent several hours trying to get everything sorted, including waiting in the parking lot while coordinating with support. Unfortunately, this caused us to lose most of our first day. As a father, it was frustrating watching my kids sit there disappointed.To be fair, I misunderstood the listing and thought there was a separate bedroom based on the photos. However, even with that, the experience still fell short. We chose this unit over another option at the same price, and in hindsight, that was a mistake.In addition, there were cleanliness concerns. Dirty sheets and towels from a previous guest were left behind in a bag and my kids unknowingly used them. They thought they were for the futon. We didn’t realize they were not clean until we found a damp towel covered in makeup.The owner was very kind and communicated, which I appreciate. However, a partial refund was promised from the manager/host due to the inconvenience, and it has not yet been received. I hope that is made right.This place is beautiful and has the potential to be a great experience for someone in the future but they are not organized enough yet. My prayer is that adjustments are made and they prosper but I cant consciously allow another family go through this experience. Tip:Before booking a condo at this resort ask the host if they have a drop box process for check in. In the past check in with other host has always been easy.
