We stayed at The Lazy Loon for a week to end the summer. We were immediately impressed with the privacy of the property. We walked into the cottage and were blown away by the huge kitchen and living room. The kids loved the kitchen table benches. I loved that the kitchen had all the cooking gadgets one could possibly need. The living room has 2 huge windows to view the lake. And there were lots of places to sit, so each kid could have their own couch. The bedrooms were cozy and adorable. Bunk beds for the kids are always fun. Nice bathrooms; everyone liked using the walk-in shower, since they found it fancier than ours at home. The yard was large and very private for a lake property. We used the fire pit nightly and enjoyed the sounds of the loons calling out, the full moon, and more stars than we could ever see at home. It was such a nice touch that we didn’t need to purchase our own firewood. There was a large supply behind the shed they provide for guests. We wish we would have taken the kayaks out more often, because they were easily accessible. Fishing off the pier was what we did most often. We would have loved to swim more, but the weather wasn’t the warmest. The kids did enjoy the swimming platform, when it was a little sunnier and they could swim. It was a quiet week on the lake while we were there - not a lot of boat traffic or people out there. We mostly saw people in their fishing boats. It was an amazing week at a beautiful cottage.
