Lush tropical gardens make this private home into a quiet, comfortable retreat. Large enough for six adults, plus a couple of keiki (children), this home was designed by the late Vladimir Ossipoff, award-winning Hawaii architect. Mr. Ossipoff's trademark includes open-plans blessed by the trade winds. Views of the dramatic Koolau mountains surround this lovely family home.

Peaceful and safe for families, this house is in a quiet residential upscale neighborhood ideal for a getaway, a place to come together again with family and friends, or a celebration of the generations.

Kick back, lie on a comfortable chaise lounge, choose your lanai (there are two), inside or out, the tropical foliage and flowers surround you.

This home is just a seven-minute drive to world-renowned Lanikai and Kailua Beaches and friendly Kailua Town where you can rent a kayak, learn to windsurf or dine on local delights.

Features include beamed ceilings, teak and tropical wood furniture, a tile-floored dining/family room, ceiling fans throughout, a fully-equipped kitchen, modern-style bathrooms.

The house has FREE wi-fi.

Living Space: A full living room with TV/DVD player, extra sitting area, large dining/family room with large dining table that extends for groups and a full kitchen.

Bed Set-up: 2 queens, 1 full, 1 double futon

Bedrooms: The master bedroom has a private bath with windows opening to an enclosed garden, a queen-size four-poster bed, mirrored closet doors and air conditioning. Bedroom 2 has a full bed and a big closet. Bedroom 3 is the Gecko room. It has a queen bed, has A/C and looks out on the garden.

Exterior: A covered lanai with table and chairs, lounges, and another covered lanai with chairs and barbeque are available. Tropical plants surround the home. The yard is completely fenced in.

The house has wi-fi access. Min 30 days req.

fantastic vacation

Beautiful, clean, quiet and safe neighborhood. Close to some of the most beautiful beaches on Oahu. House is is good condition and a great size with room for people to move around and have privacy.

Great home!

Carol was very accommodating, she met us to give us the key. She lives in the property but didnt bother us at all. Overall we had a great time at the house, it had everything we were looking for in a vacation house. What was nice was that everything was about 20 minutes or less away.

Wonderful Property

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here.... Tho there ended up only being five of us ultimately, we had a few family and kids come over for a dinner and it was super comfortable... Lots of places to sit. The property has everything you need already there which made picking up stuff for the week very easy! The location was great... Nice and safe area... Close to beach... And easy to get to major roads! Thanks so much... It was great! The Mundell Family

Filthy and needs upgrading& false advertising

This house was not what was described in the listing for our once of a lifetime holiday with our friends and child, I pondered writing something for a year, and finally decided I don't want anyone elses vacation ruined. I haven't looked at this listing untill today and seen that someone had the same issues as us with the Geccos. The 2 nights we spent there were the most disturbing nights of sleep I ever had.Coming from a rural town in Saskatchewan, Canada I have seen my share of mice and rats, but never in my home.... Now when Carol said there is nothing we can do as they are the natural pest of the island thats fine, but at home Mice are our pests and like I said I have never had a mouse in my house here, and in one night we counted up to 8 geccos on the wall. That was one thing but the gecco droppings were on the rug, on the walls, on the window sills, it was everywhere,We wouldn't even leave our suitcases unzipped. We were going to make a Pizza in the oven and when we opened it it was the most digusting thing I have seen. Also she excleded to tell us that the kitchen had a 1 foot drop off when she knew we had a 1 year old child with us. The room our daugter was to sleep in had ants crawling up the wall & the light socket crackeled & buzzed when we turned it on. We were scared of fire & did not want insects crawling on our 1 year old. Needless to say, we did not have her sleep in that room & slept with us instead. That was a let down to us, as we chose this proprty so we could give her a seperate room from us & our friends. The yard said it was enclosed & really is not. The house next door was under extensive renovations, so on day 3 we told Carol that we had enough and wanted our money back. She seemed shosked and said that it has never happened before, now I see on a difefrent review this wasn't the first instance. Anyway we got next to nothing $$ back ( for sleeping there 2 nights out of the 10) and we went and rented a way nicer place for a lot cheaper in the same area. We wrote Carol a letter when we got back and never recieved a response so I guess that is how much she cares .Since this has happened to others, it makes me wonder maybe this is what they want, what an easy way to make money. Rent out the place for 2 nights & keep 2/3rds of the money. Seems easy to me. Any way my word of advice is there is nice places for less money so keep looking. Don't let this place ruin your holiday like it just about ruined ours.

Lovely home

During our week in Kailua we stayed in your lovely home. Thank you for being so thoughtful providing plenty of towels and supplies. The beach toys and snorkel gear came in handy and saved us from renting. The beds were very comfortable and a/c in the bedrooms were great. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We loved walking to the beach to watch the sunrise. Thank you so much for everything!!

Great Neighborhood !

Beautiful Landscaping, ensuring privacy in every room. Everything you need for your stay from beautiful tableware to amazing teak and rattan furniture. So close to beaches, restaurants and markets. Three bedrooms all with very comfortable beds and good quality bedding. Recommend this property highly.

Week stay - great beach!!

We stayed here and had grandkids visit during the day - going home at night since they live in Honolulu. Carol was very kind and didn't complain about noise - which was a bit loud outside at times. - - The beach that is beautiful is 7 minutes walk. Easy walk and we went every morning and walked the beach. Went to Kailua beach park with the kids, very short drive, has showers and restrooms - very nice also. - -

Caution … fun is limited

Very convenient to meet with the property manager because they live on site. Very limited on allowing gatherings for game night and caution on large insect visitors, and lack of parking restrictions. Location was convenient to access beaches. Overall stay was ok.

The Best home!

Excellent home. Has everything you need and more. Carol and Daniel care very much for this home and it certainly shows! They provide extra linens, towels, blankets. Shelves in kitchen are stocked with lots of plates, bowls, pots , pans, everything. We loved every single thing about this home. Thank you so much for sharing it with us!

We were 2 seniors traveling with our granddaughteres

The home was spacious, kitchen had everything we needed, nice space to relax inside and out. This was in a residential area away from massive tourism giving you a better feel for the island. We would recommend.

We stayed at this property three years ago and we were pleased that it was available for us again. The location is perfect for us as it is close to friends and family that we came to visit. We like the spaciousness of the house, the living room, dining-family room and second living room area. The patio is very comfortable and very spacious.

the lady was very nice.the washer broke when that was in the deal.we had to keep wipe the refrig.But we had a good time.the neighbor was really guite.

Present for Dad

I took dad to Hawaii to celebrate his 70th Birthday. The place was perfect and exactly what was advertised. It was close to a grocery store and very close to the Marine Base. It was windy enough that we only turned on the AC once to cool off. Carol was an excellent host. We only saw her once when she showed us around. Place was very quiet and peaceful. Wonderful place. Highly recommend.

Amazing place to say

A group of 10 friends in our twenties (remote tech workers and students) stayed in Carol's two homes for a month. Everything was amazing, Carol was incredibly responsive to every question and issue we had, and our accommodations far exceeded our expectations. Amazing!!

Cherish Family time

This lovely spacious home located in a quiet neighborhood was perfect for our family of five. We loved the layout with two separate living rooms. The sun lit central dining room, overlooking two lanais adjacent to the kitchen, were perfect for relaxing. A leisurely stroll to the beach was a highlight as we are water people. Carol , our host, was welcoming and attentive. We are looking forward to a return visit.

Great place for a family or medium size group

Awesome layout it traveling with kids. It was nice to have two living areas and the patio with BBQ. The location was awesome, quick drive the beach, stores, and restaurants. Really preferred staying here over Honolulu hotels. They had everything we needed for our many excursions - beach towels, sand toys, snorkel gear, ect. The kitchen was well equipped. Carol was very helpful and accommodating!

Nice house in a nice block

Nice large house with plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. Nice location to visit Oahu. The beach is about 12min walk. The house is very Comfortable. Would recommend for a nice and simple stay.
