Angel's Acres, A Fantastic Family Retreat

Angel's Acres is truly a unique property- everything you need to get away from it all and unwind on your vacation. In the summer, the house is available for 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday. The home is complete with a large family kitchen, 5 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, the beds include a 2 kings, 2 queens and a bunk bed room with 4 beds (2 singles and 2 full). You can sleep 12 comfortably. With an upstairs living room, huge family room in the basement and a game room, there is a place for everyone to watch multiple TV & movies at the same time, read, relax, or play games including shuffleboard, bubble hockey or ping pong. Outside of the home, you will find an amazing oasis - a beautiful heated pool (available June, July, and August) with cabana, walking trails leading to fishing ponds, a fire pit, swings, and a large deck with grill. Sonos speakers can be found through out the house and are also available outside of the home as well. All of this in a peaceful, wooded setting. There is so much to this 11 acre property and just a few minutes to shopping, restaurants and beautiful beaches.

Family annual trip to Michigan

Family get away

This is our 3rd year at this vacation home, it’s a perfect place to spend time with family. Lots to do with a heated pool, hot tub, great fire pit, lots of games etc. plus close to town. House has lots of room with a great cabana by the pool!

Beautiful family retreat in Pure Michigan

The location of the house is just outside of beautiful South Haven. Angels acres is a nice getaway with south haven conveniently located. It’s a beautiful and peaceful retreat with everything we needed, a pool, hot tub, fire pit and a walking path through the forest. The hosts are great!

Wonderful family home for vacation!

This property is beautiful, and just a short car ride from the beach and riverfront. We had some chilly, wet weather, but the heated pool, hot tub and fishing hole kept the kiddos busy. So many amenities are provided, I can't list them all. Thanks for a great stay.

Great property!

Property was great for our extended-family vacation. We really enjoyed the pool, and because there are steps going in, my 81 year old parents were able to enjoy it, too. Cabana was a wonderful shady spot to sit by the pool. Hosts are very responsive and easy to work with, and provided lots of detailed information about the house and surrounding area. Super close to town and the beaches. Easily accommodated 10 adults. We all hope to go back!

Our second time at Angels Acres

This was our second time staying at Angles Acres. We are a group of 7 friends so the sleeping arrangements suit us well. The pool, hot tub and cabana area are primarily what brought us back and they were once again the best part of our stay. We spent most of our week enjoying them. South Haven is a delightful coastal town that did not disappoint, despite the crazy year 2020 has been.

Family week a blast

Excellent choice for kids. They were either in the marvelous pool or hot tube most of the time. Game room with bubble hockey was a hit too. Hosts had all of the little things that made it great. 4 fridges kept us from constantly refilling coolers with ice. Cabana by pool was the icing on the cake.

Angel’s Acres

We had such a great time at the property. It was true to the description. Plenty of space to relax. The private pool was clean and well-kept. All the little things were provided to make a comfortable stay. Plenty of pans and dishware, unlike other places where there is barely enough for one meal. Game room facilities were just what the guys loved, gave them some space from adults but fit everyone for family fun.

Another great Angels Acres vacation!

Three generations, age 3-72, and all of us love Angels Acres. The property is ideal with the pool and ponds when your grandkids love to swim and fish. John and Marge couldn't be better or more responsive hosts. We love our vacations atcAngels Acres!

Our family had a fun week at Angel's Acres. We had good weather so we made great use of the pool. We had a couple of minor issues come up, but the owner was fast and responsive to our questions. We would stay there again!

beautiful property

Our family vacation at Angels Acres was delightful! The kitchen was roomy and well stocked. There was enough seating at the dinner table for all eight of us. We all enjoyed the downstairs TV room and game room as well as the ping pong. The cabana and pool were outstanding!

acres review

We loved the pool and hot tub and fishing ponds. We did not like that the bunk room downstairs had a window that you could not get out of in case of fire. The walking trails also need major attention. They can not be traversed without tall boots and lots of bug spray. It has been 5 weeks since we were at #501414. We have not received any security fee back. We left the place cleaner than we found it. We would like to hear something about the security fee. Sincerely Nancy & Tom Jakubiec

Amazing Week

This is a wonderful property, close to everything, stocked with all you need. We loved that the kids had the lower level to play and hang out. The pool, cabana and hot tub were the hits of the week. We will be back!

Another wonderful week!

We had another wonderful vacation week at this hidden gem. Close enough to everything to be convenient and far away enough to be "away from it all". House and pool/hot tub are great. Noticed updates the last 2 times we stayed. Looking forward to next year.

Angel Acres was AWESOME

The house was very clean and sanitized. Everything you needed for cooking was there! Drinking water dispenser was a nice touch! Several different size refrigerators was a nice touch too! Plenty of huge beach towels, bikes, beautiful pool and hot tub. Great covered area by pool to stay out of the sun! Kids loved the lower level for playing all the different sports activities provided. Huge front yard to play wiffle ball etc.. Very private and quiet location and South Haven beaches were a short drive. We would love to stay again!

Family Vacation

What a lovely home and property! We spent a week here celebrating my dads 80th birthday. We enjoyed fishing, s’mores by the fire pit, and all the games in the basement. We used the pool and the cabana daily. Communication with Marge & John was excellent and they were very helpful with any questions I had. The house was immaculately kept! We enjoyed our week and didn’t want to leave. Thank you!

Wonderful Family Vacation

This was one of the best family vacations we have ever had. The property was perfect. The house was the best equipped that we have ever rented. Every possible kitchen appliance and lots of dishes and utensils. Lots of indoor activities for the kids. The pool and surrounding area was a huge hit, including the fishing ponds. South Haven was a short drive away. We will definitely return! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Another fabulous Angels Acres vacation!

Our family is age 1- 70, three generations. This is our third time at Angels Acres and we all love it. The kids spent so much time fishing and looking for frogs at the ponds, while others enjoyed walks, the pool and hot tub. It's no more than 10 minutes to Lake Michigan. The owner, Marge Angel, is so easy to work with and very nice. The home is extremely clean and orderly with lots to do. We will definitely be returning to make more previous memories.

Great place to stay

Our stay at Angle’s Acres was thoroughly enjoyable. The pool was great and we loved the adjoining cabana. Sleeping arrangements suited our group well. The property is just minutes from South Haven where you can enjoy a wide variety of shopping and restaurants and great public beaches. I would definitely recommend this home if you are looking to stay near a great coast town.

Family week was a great week staying here

Our week away was great. The house accommodated all 10 of us well. It has all the amenities that our family (6 adults/4kids) would want. It’s clean, spacious, and provides lots of entertainment mainly the pool. It’s really an easy and enjoyable place to spend a week.

Another Fabulous Family Vacation

Our fourth time staying here. House and grounds clean and tidy as usual. Enjoyed the pool/hot tub and roomy house. Location makes for easy access to town/ beach/groceries. Can't wait for next year (even though I was in the loser's bracket of the ping pong tournament)!!

Our family lives in the Chicago are and we hope one day to live at Angel's Acres full time....many years from now. We have vacationed in South Haven for years and we were fortunate enough to purchase this home in 2012. We had always heard wonderful things about the beaches and the town of South Haven and are excited to share this home with others.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We purchased this property because it is a great combination of being peaceful and fun for our family! Being it is only 4 miles from the shops and restaurants in South Haven, we feel so close to town, yet far enough where we can stay at home with no need to go anywhere else. Before purchasing this property we would rent properties in the past that were located in town. We found that we still had to drive to the beach when renting those properties because of everything we would bring with us (cooler, chairs, toys, etc.) Those properties didn't offer us a pool as well and that combination to us is what makes Angel's Acres so special. Angel's Acres is a nature lover's paradise with the walking trails all through out the 11 acres and 3 fishing ponds. Our kids love exploring in this great big backyard!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

In the summertime, we love hanging out near the pool with the cabana. The cabana includes a refrigerator and a changing room. It also stores our receiver where you can play any type of music from your i Device or Android and the music plays on four speakers through out the pool and back yard. The hot tub was purchased in 2013 and is open year around and is large enough for six people. The basement has lots of fun toys for the entire family to enjoy and the three ponds in the back yard are stocked with blue gills and bass. A tree swing and a swing set are on the property as well as a hammock.
