Beach Daze - 3 Baths, 4 Bedrooms, 5 Stars AND A NEW POOL!

Brand new , Beach Daze is a gorgeous beach-home in the Harbor Club Resort & Marina community (1/2 mile from beach access , 1 mile from downtown South Haven). This beautiful 2200 square foot home has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and sleeps up to 12 guests comfortably. Tucked among 40 acres of preserved woodlands and within blocks from Lake Michigan, this house is yelling at you to come and relax!! NEW IN 2024 - Our neighborhood pool and spa is open directly across from our home!

Our high end home is furnished with quality furnishings that will leave you relaxed and comfortable. Our goal is to provide everything you need and you just bring the fun. This home features deluxe finishes such as granite counter tops, modern appliances, 2 flat screen TVs, high speed WiFi, and private master suite seating area.

The Main Level is an open concept and spacious- equipped with everything needed to cook for and serve meals to a large group. Play games in the separate den which features a pull out couch (sleeps 2), get comfortable watching movies in the great room, or grill out on the gas grill located on the the back porch. There is a giant fire pit just steps off our back porch -be sure to bring your marshmallows!

The Upper Level features the Primary Suite complete with a private bath and separate seating area. The Second and Third Bedrooms feature deluxe Queen size beds and the Fourth bedroom is the bunk room - comfortably sleeping 4 people.

This rental includes access to the Resort's community pool (a second pool!), clubhouse, and marina. Rent boats, kayaks, paddle boards at the marina for some fun on the water! Marina also rents golf carts for easy and fun access to town.

Closest public beach is less than a 10 minute walk away, very easy to walk to and a little more secluded than the busy downtown beaches. Load the provided beach chairs in the wagon and you're all set!

Just 5 minutes to the unique shopping/dining of downtown, this is the perfect spot to escape.

Amazing property and great host

We loved the interactions with the host, very personable and friendly. The property was in a great little neighborhood with easy access to the pool. We will definitely be back!

Our grandkids loved the bikes to ride around the neighborhood! They went to see the turtles everyday and you can't beat a Lake MI sunset!

Ideal Location & Amenities

We had the most wonderful stay. We had all the amenities to make our week long stay at Dan & Sheryl’s feel like our home away from home. The location was close to everything yet far enough away to be a nice quiet neighborhood. We can’t wait to plan our next trip!

Thoroughly enjoyable stay at Beach Daze! Our grandchildren loved the beaches & the pools! The location is great in relation to the above. You will have to drive to the beaches if you want to take chairs & other beach items. Otherwise it’s too far to walk. We enjoyed many beautiful sunsets on the beach & long bike rides on the KalHaven trail. We went blueberry picking at Bumbleberry farm. It was a great place for adults & children! The farmers market in South Haven on Wednesday was one of the best I’ve been to. We were not ready to leave at the end of the week. The house was very comfortable & well equipped! We will be back!

First (hopefully annual) Family Vacation

The house was well stocked. Location was perfect for access to the pool, beach and town. We had an amazing time watching our kids (bigs and littles) having the time of their lives. We hope to book it again next year. Their hosts we quick to respond, overall great to work with. Thanks again Sheryl

Great beach stay

We had a wonderful time at Beach Daze. It was an amazing experience. The house was great as was the community. Community pool was really nice and the beach was a very short drive away. We loved the town and the property. Also if you have kids, it's a very family friendly property. Could not be happier.

Very Convenient

Location was very convenient. Kids and grandkids walked or biked to the beach frequently, especially every night to see the sunset. Owners treated us like family when we asked ANYTHING. House was immaculate and well-maintained.

Precious Family Time

House was great. Neighborhood in a good location. Owners delightful. We did so much of what South Haven is known for- beach, Maritime Museum, 1810 ship replica ride, shopping, SO much fun on Dune Ride, Sherman’s for ice cream, Beast Burgers, and most of all family being together.

Great house for families!

This new and very clean house was perfect for two families with little kids escaping from the city. The owners were super easy to communicate with before, during and after our visit. The pool was a little crowded in the afternoons in current circumstances, but otherwise we had no trouble finding ways to stay safe and have fun in and around the property. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a safe and fun getaway!

Great house for a large family

We have stayed at many houses in this subdivision. This one was very well stocked with household items and other amenities that made our stay even more relaxing. (i.e. bikes, pool and beach gear, and many of the basic household items not necessarily on hand in other properties)

Great return to South Haven

This is a perfect spot to take advantage of a laid back family beach vacation in South Haven. Easy, stress free rental process. Great location- short walk to the beach with feel of quiet neighborhood. House was new and clean with great space to hang out as a family and nice amenities including beach chairs and umbrellas and sturdy wagon to haul them in. Homeowners were very helpful - provided awesome tips and recommendations for places to eat - and quick to respond to the few questions we had.

Annual family gathering

The Beach Daze property offered everything needed for an enjoyable multi-generational family gathering! Our "littles" enjoyed the pool, especially with the retractable cover which allowed use on a drizzly, overcast day. The home was clean and well appointed for cooking (a must for us). A rented golf cart made trips to the beach seamless. The owners were responsive to questions and had thoughtfully stocked the home with books, games, and outdoor chairs/toys/wagon/bikes available for our use. This property is a gem and we highly recommend staying here for your next South Haven beach vacation!

Great family getaway

The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was nice being near the marina where we rented a pontoon boat and swam at the pool and it was an easy bike ride or walk to the beach. We highly recommend sunsets each evening at Oak or Packard. The fire pit was a plus to make s'mores with the kids. If you are looking for seclusion, the backyard is shared with other houses in the complex. We didn't mind but its something to be aware of depending on what you are looking for. Overall it was a wonderful family vacation.

Wonderful vacation!!

Everything was exactly as advertised - this house is great! I stayed here with my family (4 adults and 4 kids) for a long weekend in the off season and can't wait to come back in the summer. The house is brand new! It's very roomy, clean, and tastefully decorated - very accommodating for family's! Sheryl was very responsive to our questions. The beach was an easy 5 minute walk away and there are a lot of grassy, open spaces for kids to explore. The fire pit out back is a great way to unwind at night. Great location too - just a couple minutes to downtown South Haven (great restaurants and cute shops!) and just a couple minutes to Meijer for groceries. Can't wait to come back!

Awesome trip to South Haven!

The house was spacious with plenty of room for our family! It was new, very clean, and has an open kitchen into family room for everyone to hang out together. We used bikes to ride around the neighborhood, grilled out in the outdoor patio area and also used the fire pit. The location was great for a quick drive to beach or downtown - you could have walked to one of the smaller beaches, but we preferred to drive with all of our beach stuff. The community pool was nice and the marina area in the neighborhood was really pretty. The best part was the welcome packet and recommendations from the owners. They were very helpful in giving us information on the city, beaches, restaurants, breweries, etc and very responsive! We would definitely recommend staying at this property!

Perfect Location!!

We loved our stay at Beach Daze. It was the perfect community the house was in a great spot! The kids enjoyed daily fishing trips to the bridge, poles provided! Plus fun little walks through the neighborhood. The community pool is so close to the house we felt comfortable with the kiddos walking back and forth. We definitely saw some busier times at the pool but had a lot of time to ourselves or very few families. If you have ever vacationed down south, you “need” a pool a lot less in MI. Our kids (7-11) loved the beach and spent so much time there. We spent some time at Packard Park beach and South beach (fairly large lots that cost $10 a day), Packard is a smaller beach but it was a great day with smaller waves! South beach is just out of the main town, busier but has close bathrooms, concessions and a light house. Favorite beach was Oval beach in Saugatuck. It was $15 to park for the day, beautiful large beach with bathrooms, changing area and concessions. Plenty of beach chairs and toys provided at the house! We dined in South Haven twice, went to Black River Tavern and Clementines, both delicious! Neither take reservations, and we had a party of 8, did a little shopping to pass the time! We had some nice nights on the patio, unfortunately the fire pit was being rebuilt and the grass was quite soft. Overall, great trip and would definitely stay. Great communicators from booking til check out!!

AMAZING and relaxing vacation at Beach Daze!

We had an incredible time in SoHa at Beach Daze! First, Sheryl was great to work with--very responsive and had lots of great information to share. Getting the welcome packet with recommendations early was a great way to start planning our trip and what we wanted to do. The house is beautiful-decorated so nice and SO CLEAN (gotta love new construction) and the perfect set up for 2 families. The boys turned the front den into their game room and we enjoyed bonfires & s’mores almost every night. We especially loved all the extras for the kids—2 sets of bunk beds, kid plates & cups, books, games, beach toys, bikes, and even a special guide to South Haven for kids written by one of their daughters, super cute. We loved having a “3rd place” to be in SoHa—we knew we’d spend lots of time at the beach and downtown, but the house community turned out even better than we expected. We loved visiting the pond with turtles, playing kickball in the field across the street, exploring the forest area to collect firewood, seeing the boats at the marina and especially the POOL. Next time we’re definitely renting a golf cart & kayaks, we just ran out of time! Did I mention the POOL? So rare to find pool access in a beach town and this was game-changing for our trip. Beach every morning and pool every afternoon was the perfect combination for everyone, but especially the younger kids. Never crowded, warmer than the lake, covered area for shade & games, and free ice for your coolers? So perfect. The beach was an easy 10-12 minute walk, but with ample, free, street parking, it was just as easy to drive and haul all our stuff! We truly can’t wait to come back!

Family Vacation

Great place and convenient location - w rented a golf cart from the community to zip around to town, beaches, etc. Very clean and responsive owner. Kids enjoyed the pool. Would stay again.

While they've stopped eating sand, it's still a favorite vacation spot - playing on the beach, paddle boarding, picking blueberries/peaches/apples and hiking at Warren Dunes remain our favorite family adventures.
