If you are looking to get out and explore, you are a short walk from the Five Lakes trailhead and just one mile from Alpine Meadows Ski Resort. In the evenings fire up the woodstove, and enjoy gathering in the first-floor great room. The tranquility, charm, and unique style certainly make for a great Tahoe getaway location.

The expansive floor to ceiling windows, its long farm-style dining table, wood stove, spiral iron staircase, and vintage craftsmanship evoke the feel of a Tyrolean lodge. What it lacks in a dishwasher, it certainly makes up for in tranquility and charm. Before you book Alpine Meadows Cabin in the Woods, be sure to pack your slippers. We're plenty stocked with firewood and coffee cups.

The mountaineer shuttle will pick you up at this location and drop you off at Alpine Meadows during ski season.

Property Notes
* We provide a starting supply of toilet paper, paper towel, and laundry detergent, but recommend bringing extra for longer stays.
* We do not provide shampoo / conditioner / or body wash although there could be some left from previous guests.
* We recommend 4 x 4, AWD, or carrying snow chains in the winter months.
* There is no air conditioning in this rental.
* There are spiral stairs to the 2nd and 3rd levels of the home which may not be appropriate for smaller children or elderly.
* We do not guarantee firewood and suggest purchasing a bundle at a local market.
