Best location in Milwaukee! Upper Duplex Unit

I do apologize for the long-windedness of the below explanation but I do want to put future stays at ease and did want to address the issues identified directly for those who would like to know more about what happened. For future stays please look at our other reviews for our lower unit to help you decide, please realize we take pride in trying to provide a unit that is clean but sometimes we make mistakes and when we do we try and rectify them when given the opportunity. Please know that our units are secure. This was an unfortunate stay for us and therefore I feel we need to specifically address the statements made to give perspective. First, they did not end up staying in the listing the review is posted under they actually stayed at our listing 4453351 which is the lower unit of the same duplex, so please look at reviews for the lower unit to compare. Second, the statements about the unit are very exaggerated and not corroborated in other reviews, that we hope you read. Our unit is not run-down, it is an old Milwaukee duplex but it is not run-down. We do not have any broken windows and the lock we have on the unit is a Schlage, so the statement about security is very untrue. Third, they state that someone was living there before their stay and were told that was not the case before posting their review, they thought this because I forgot to grab a fruit container from the fridge when cleaning, we flipped the unit the day before they arrived. Fourth, they also stated that the unit was filthy upon arrival but didn’t communicate an issue until hours after their arrival. At which time they sent us pictures of their issues, the pictures were one hair in the shower, one hair on one of the bedsheets, one hair in a drawer, and a picture of a fruit container in the fridge. We are definitely not happy that we missed the hairs but sometimes we do miss things. When we do we try to rectify the situation immediately. In this instance, these issues were only rectifiable by the renters by a complete refund after staying a night in the unit. We fully refunded them due to how they acted and treated us and not wanting to deal with customers that were rude or unwilling to give us a chance to correct the issues. We hope you believe that these were minor mistakes that we hope to not repeat and that this review was exaggerated. We are more than willing to discuss our rental and anything else with anyone who is considering booking with us. thank you

The unit has 3 air conditioners and as stated in the listing only two can be run at a time due to how the wiring was set up (I am looking at rewiring options). this was communicated ahead of time as well. The breaker tripping is a sign that the system is working correctly so I want future stays to understand that this isn't a safety hazard. The stay was also informed how to access the breaker inside the unit; going outside is unnecessary if this issue occurs during your stay. The outside has been taken care of. Unfortunately, at the time of this stay my lawn care people hadn't come out yet.
