Beautiful Cabin with Amazing Views of Bear Mountain Ski Resort! You can't beat the location, right next to Bear Mountain Ski Resort with beautiful views of the slopes. You can spot satellites and shooting stars at night. It is a magical experience.

The cabin sleeps 7 comfortably.
A master suite with a king bed, full bath and gas fireplace downstairs.
A second floor bedroom with a queen bed, and a full bath off the hallway.
A loft bedroom with a queen bed, full bed, and half bathroom.

The cabin comes with fresh towels, and beds are made up with fresh linens and plenty of cozy blankets. Our dedicated cleaning crew has the cabin clean and ready before your visit and does the cleaning after your stay.

Three Roku Smart TV's. WIFI available.

Fully stocked kitchen with all the amenities you will need during your stay, stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, crock pot, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, and pots and pans. A comfortable dining nook with great views of the mountain and sunrise. A warm and inviting gas fireplace that warms the entire cabin for your comfort, no messing around with wood.

Enjoy the mountain view, sunrise, and night stars on 3 spacious decks in comfortable log chairs.

Storage is provided on the driveway for all your ski equipment.
There is also a washer/dryer provided for your convenience.

With the close proximity to Bear Mountain Resort they do make snow at night. Which means you will hear the blowers at times. But it also means great skiing, boarding, and sledding during your stay. So hope you enjoy your stay at our cozy cabin!

Great view of Big Bear

Very nice and clean, a cozy cabin for a weekend or a week! We had a great stay wish we could have stayed longer. Views from the deck and are wonderful. Will stay here again on another visit.

Peaceful get away

Great location and home was very clean and well Stocked for our stay. Loft was a nice addition. Property manager very responsive and allowed for us to check in early. We will definitely rent again!

Perfect Stay at a Perfect Cabin! Super Clean!

The owner's have done a great job with this cabin. It is beautiful and provides all the necessities modern needs such as cable tv, wi-fi, etc., and is well-kept and clean. We loved the hot-tub at night and the view is beautiful. Great little coffee shop just down the road (Moonridge Coffee Company), the rescue zoo nearby is really great, and we found a few good restaurants including La Vella Villa Grill which is lacking in decor but is nice enough and the food is pretty darn good.

Great Cabin Stay

Wonderfully comfortable home. My wife and I came to escape the AZ heat and found the property to be very welcoming. There was one misunderstanding regarding the ad but Dirk went over the top to make things right. The property is well cared for and was a very nice home away from home for a few days. We hope to be back!

Great Vaca Get-a-way

I stayed here over new years with my boyfriend and another couple. We very much enjoyed this cabin. It was a perfect size for us. We were able to walk to and from Big Bear Mountain resort, which was great! Only a 5min drive to restaurants and the town. We enjoyed cooking dinners and the view of the mountain at night. The pics and description accurately described the cabin. It was very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend staying here! The owners were very sweet and accommodating. Thank you again!!

Location, Location, Location - and More!

This cabin was ideal for our family of 3 ski weekend to Bear Mountain. It is a quick walk right to the entrance and off you go onto the chairlift. Amazing. The house is super clean, well organized, comfortable, and charming. Although it proudly belongs to a local family, I didn't ever feel like I was invading their home as I often do in others. They have recently installed a hot tub which looks like fun. The view of the ski runs & jump provide for endless entertainment. Excellent walking trails are just outside the front door. I feel fortunate to have found "Cozy Hideaway" and look forward to coming back again.

Amazing hideaway!

Our first stay in this gem of a home! Love all of the furnishings, BBQ Grill, Jacuzzi, great little kitchen! The wrap around balcony with awesome views really made our weekend. Did I mention the WONDERFUL Jacuzzi?!?! This home felt cozy and roomy all at the same time! Though we didn't use the upstairs loft, we definitely will next time when we bring our daughters! We absolutely ADORE this place. Didn't feel like a rental place .. just immediately felt like home with beautiful photos on the wall and a really nice family picture on the fridge door (lovely family!) I can't thank Dirk and his family enough for sharing your Beautiful hideaway with us...it was the perfect weekend. We WILL most definitely be back!! Blessings, Paty and Dan

Very Responsive & Accomodating- Especially w/ Circumstances

We planned our trip a couple months in advance and were a bit worried there was not going to be much snow. Luckily the Friday evening and Saturday we had 12-18 inches of fresh snow...great for snowboarding, but not great for the drive from San Diego. Took our friends 8 hours as the front of the mountain was closed due to rock slides. Dirk sent us an email and let us know we could check out late Sunday due to the crappy drive Friday. Both he and his wife were very proactive and responsive with communicating back and forth. Great location & experience overall- we look forward to going back.

Great experience

This was my first vacation I'd taken since COVID hit and it was incredibly smooth and painless. Dirk was very communicative beforehand and gave all the directions I needed. The cabin was clean when I arrived and I had no issues at all during my stay. Hoping I'll be able to return soon!

Beautiful home

Great home in perfect location! Stayed in summer and enjoyed being a few minutes away from the Village and lake. Can only imagine the beauty during wintertime and being so close to the slopes. We'll have to return!

Didn't want to leave...

We loved our stay at Cozy Hideaway. The owner Dirk was very informative and helpful. Feeding the birds and the sneaky little chipmunks was fun. Relaxing on the deck and enjoying the sparkling clean hot tub was a plus. This truly was a home away from home with everything we needed. We plan on returning soon.

Great Cabin

This was the perfect home for our trip Walking distance which was wonderful no worries about parking. Great view of Mountain Can't wait to come back!! Derk was a pleassure to work with. A pleasure to rent from!!!

Awesome

The Cozy Hideaway was awesome. The house was exactly like the posting said. The only critique I would give is all the stairs. In the thin air we weren't use to the stairs were a truck. Lol. The driveway was a little steep too, but we managed. We had a wonderful stay and the house was beautiful and fully equipped. The owner was responsive to all emails and text messages....not that we had a lot, but he does respond. The house is just up the street from the wildlife zoo where they have animals that can't be released back into the wild. That's a must see minimal cost to get in but it goes to the animals. Totally recommend this house.

Very pleased. Highly reccomend.

I stayed here with my family on the last weekend of January 2016. This is a warm, cozy, open layout house with a short walk to the lifts. Everything is provided, except filtered water and handicap access. Other than that I highly reccomend this location for a getaway. Owners are very nice and accommodating and they respond promptly to your questions or concerns. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing Property

Great location for snowboarding by day and clean cozy cabin to bring everyone together by night. My family of 7 stayed here for New Years Eve 2016 weekend. Although, some may say the cabin it's self isn't all that large I found that the chic rustic cabin and size was exactly what I was looking for. In the past, larger cabins kept us from coming together and this cabin was perfect for bring us all together and telling all our funny memories while over looking the slopes during sunset. We were literally steps away from the slopes. Since we are a big family it is hard to get everyone together and in one car at one time. The close location made it very easy and stress free for us to go on our own time. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin to others. Erika M

Perfect cabin for out weekend getaway

My husband and I spent a weekend at this wonderful cabin. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well appointed. You can't beat the location, right next to Bear Mountain Ski Resort with beautiful views of the slopes. We enjoyed spotting satellites and shooting stars from the hot tub at night, and we heard the wolves at the zoo howling! It was magical. Highly recommend this cabin and we hope to be back again soon!

Bear mountain retreat

Visited the cabin at the end of August. Great escape from so cal heat this time of year. Very serene with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The owner was very attentive to every detail of our stay, and he gave me great advice about local trails. If you are a mountain biker the skyline trail begins a short grind up the road. The zoo is right down the street, and they have many rescued animals that you might not see anywhere else. The wolves serenade you at Sun down. Overall great getaway. Access to the cabin requires going up some stairs so flat landers will feel that.

We love the cabins location next to Bear Mountain for easy access to the slopes and many other activities the mountain provides. Please come and enjoy our home as much as we do year round.

We chose this property for the amazing views and location. The minute I walked into the warm and inviting cabin it felt like home. We ski and snowboard in the winter, mountain bike and ride our dirt bikes in the summer. It is close enough to the lake to enjoy all the activities it has to offer.
