The home is named in honor of the owner, whose initials are DR, reflect the care and vision that help shape this special lakeside escape. Come enjoy kayaking, swimming, paddle boarding, fishing, or relaxing watching the sunset from the dock of the bay. Whether you’re unwinding or working, this enchanting house provides a perfect balance of space and style. We look forward to welcoming you to our place.

The Lake house was beautiful. The outside had a gorgeous view with covered docks which was so nice because we had a little rain. The property was clean, with so many amenities. It was the perfect place for our group of 10. We will definitely be renting property again.

The dock of the bay was simply stunning. The lake view and water activities were wonderful. Pretty friendly with large fenced back yard. Home was clean and very well supplied. The host was responsive. Me and my family had a wonderful, relaxing time. Would definitely do it again.

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing family escape, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves.The dock and outdoor spaces were definitely a highlight. We spent a lot of time outside relaxing, taking in the lake views, and enjoying the peaceful setting. It gave our family the chance to slow down, reconnect, and really enjoy the trip. (Having towels down at the boat dock was an especially nice touch for the kiddos swimming!)The house also had plenty to keep all ages and interests busy, which made it easy for everyone to have a good time. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed for meals during our stay. Everyone agreed we need to stay here again!

Wow — just wow! The Doc of the Bay absolutely did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how beautiful and welcoming the property felt. The house itself was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Every space — from the living areas to the bedrooms — felt comfortable and inviting.The outdoor areas were truly the highlight. The gazebo became our favorite gathering spot for morning coffee and late‑night conversations, and the dock was perfect for soaking in the peaceful water views. Even though the listing photos were great, they still didn’t capture just how stunning the scenery is in person. The views from the deck, gazebo, and dock were absolutely breathtaking.We were there for a large family gathering, and the layout of the home could not have been more ideal. There was plenty of space for everyone to be together without ever feeling crowded, and the flow of the house made it easy for people to move between indoor and outdoor areas. It truly felt like the perfect place to reconnect, unwind, and enjoy each other’s company.By the end of our stay, we were already talking about when we’d be coming back next year. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

“Doc of the Bay” – 10 out of 5 Stars!From the moment our family arrived at Doc of the Bay, we were pleasantly pleased in every way. This was our very first VRBO stay, so we didn’t have anything to compare it to — but after this experience, any future VRBO we stay at will have a very hard time competing. Everything about this lake house made us feel right at home.The host was incredibly accommodating in all areas — thoughtful, responsive, and clearly committed to making sure guests have everything they need. Truly, they thought of everything. From the setup of the home to the little details throughout, we felt cared for and comfortable the entire stay.Our family absolutely loved our time here. The lake views, the peaceful atmosphere, the cozy layout, and the welcoming touches made this getaway unforgettable. If I could, I would give “Doc of the Bay” a 10 out of 5 rating. It’s that good. The host was wonderfully accommodating and attentive in every way. We left feeling refreshed, grateful and already excited to come back. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, and willing to be pampered look no further than, “Doc by the Bay is the place to stay!!We’re already talking about when we can return.

It is an ideal retreat for families of all ages to relax, reconnect, and enjoy time together.
