This 120m² holiday apartment occupies the whole first floor of a lovely old villa from 1896. It is on a quiet road and is conveniently close to the beach, the centre and restaurants. The picturesque little town of Lovran exudes a Mediterranean flair, surrounded by pines and the green slopes of the nearby Učka mountain.
The apartment was renovated in 2015 and has a living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom, a guest toilet, a kitchen and a dining room. The tasteful interior is a successful combination of tradition and modern comfort, with the parquet flooring exuding a special flair. The two comfortable bedrooms provide a double bed (160 x 200cm) and two single beds (90 x 200cm), along with a little sitting area with a table and two chairs. Two further people can sleep on the sofa bed (140 x 190cm) in the cosy living room. The kitchen is fully-equipped, including a dishwasher. The dining table in front of the balcony door is for six people. The bathroom has a modern shower. As the old villa has very thick walls and high ceilings, it has a pleasant indoor climate even at the height of summer, so air conditioning is not required. All the rooms can be heated with oil central heating. The free Internet connection has a download speed of 30 MB/s and an upload speed of 10 MB/s. The Internet also works on the balcony. Use of the washing machine is included in the rental price. A cot can also be provided on request.
The roofed balcony is furnished with comfortable armchairs and a sofa. It invites you to relax and affords a wonderful view of the sea. There are many free parking spaces on the street in front of the villa.
Within a two to four-minute walk you can find restaurants, bars, a bank, a post office, a bakery, a supermarket and a vegetable and fish market. The area is especially attractive for an active holiday. The sea with its clean beaches offers many water sports options and the surrounding hills are perfect for mountain bikers and hikers. Lovran is also a culinary paradise. Peharovo is one of the most well-known beaches, just a two-minute walk from the apartment and awarded the Blue Flag, for its high standards. Everyone can find a spot under the trees and relax with the sound of the sea. It is also easy to get to other beaches in Kvarner Bay by car, including Medveja beach (five minutes by car), Icici and the Marina (ten minutes by car), as well as the Moscenicka Draga beach (12 minutes by car). It is about a 15-minute drive to Opatija and 30 minutes to the harbour town of Rijeka, which is worth seeing.
