This is a beautiful new 4 Bedroom, 3 Bath home in Key Colony Beach. The sleeping arrangements are 3 King bed rooms,1 twin bed room and a sleeper sofa. Sleeps 8-10. All bedrooms and screened porch have wall mounted flat screen TVs. This home has a private pool, boat dock with fish cleaning table. Dock is 36ft but open at one end for longer boat,wifi, 2 car garage with opener and 4 bicycles. We also have port a crib and high chair .. Key Colony Beach has an executive golf course, 4 restaurants, playground and tennis courts. There is also a Sunset Park where you can watch beautiful sunsets each night.

Great location

We love staying at key colony beach because of the location, the house did not disappoint we had teens with us and they loved the bikes they provided, loved the snorkeling, house was clean and any issues we had and called about George attended our needs immediately, very easy to book, check in and check out. I highly recommend this house if you want space and a great location.

Great location for boating and diving.

Overall, we had a wonderful time. However, the house is in need of maintenance throughout and a good deep cleaning.

Needs TLC

Location is great but the property needs a good cleaning and regular maintenance. Things are falling apart and rundown. Kitchen appliances are not functioning properly and most furnishings needs an upgrade.

Had a wonderful stay at this home

House was ready and open when we arrived. Well equipped with all the items we needed for our week stay. Pool was perfect for the kids all day long (a shade umbrella for the afternoon sun would be a nice addition). Back yard is fenced to keep the kids and pups safely inside. Love the key colony beach area. Will stay again!

Great location!

This home was the perfect size for our family of 8 plus 2 kiddos. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the indoor and outdoor spaces. The pool and covered cabana was a great spot to hang out during the day. The neighborhood was lovely and it was only a 5ish minute drive to get groceries, etc. We were able to walk down or ride bikes to the nearby Sunset beach. We would stay here again!

Can't wait to come back!

This was an absolutely amazing house! I was a little worried after reading some of the previous reviews, but we checked on the fridge/freezer/cleanliness before we unpacked, and everything was great. It's a rental property, so nothing is top of the line, but it was perfect for our family getaway. There were a few minor things we noted, but the owner messaged us back immediately and the property manager came out immediately to manage them. We will definitely be back!

Great House

Clean house with plenty of living space, use of garage for storage was added bonus. Used the bikes a few times and walked to beach down the street. No hose at the dock but the hose at the pool deck reached to the dock. Pool umbrella helped for hot summer days. Look forward to our next stay.

Fun family week

The house was perfect for what we needed as far as the size and location goes. However, the pool was dirty when we arrived and no one cleaned it until Friday. There was dog hair (in clumps) everywhere in the kitchen/dining area and we did not have our pets with us. The living room furniture was less than a 1 rating, it definitely needs replacing and the entire house is in need of a lot of TLC. We did have a wonderful week but would have like at minimum the house to be clean and the pool ready for guest.

Needs help

I was told that the issues other guests were having were addressed and they were working in the kitchen “as we speak”. We arrived the kitchen floors weren’t swept or mopped (coffee stains & dirt on the floor) the master bathroom vanity hadn’t been cleaned, dog hair throughout and the pool was dirty. They left dust mop & fabuloso outside the front door. No broom was even available. The A/C returns were covered in dust. After multiple attempts to get an answer if anyone would be coming to address my problems I guess someone came while we were away one day and cleaned the returns, left a broom and another dust mop. Communication was lacking. The bedroom with the twin beds smells moldy and musty. The house is a great size, the rooms are large. The bathrooms and kitchen (I’m not sure what they had been working on, not even a dish towel to dry dishes with) and pool needs to be updated. There needs to be a better cleaning crew (my husband and I had to vacuum the baseboards ourselves because our granddaughter is allergic to mold, dust & dog hair. I wish our experience would have been better.

Family Vacay

Getting to the house was convenient. The number of the rooms was perfect. However, there were several issues. The site states there are beach towels. With a property that has four bedrooms and can accommodate 12, one beach towel is not sufficient. We had to call the property manager several times with issues regarding the air conditioning in the master suite side of the house. We had issues with a toilet, a brand new dishwasher not properly draining, which was not resolved, a blocked sink which we figured out how to resolve. There were no pool floats which, again, we had to purchase and left them at the house. With all this, the house is in a great location and provided easy access to the water for the boats.

Attention needed.

We stayed for 7 days in December 2024. Property is in a fantastic location. Very close to Sunset Park. Quiet location off the beaten path. Pool was small but a good fit for the four of us (bring your own water toys/floats). The condition of the furnishings was poor. 2 of the 6 patio table chairs were ripped and unusable. 1 of 4 chaise lounge chairs had a broken back, 2 of 3 of the kitchen bar chairs had broken footrests, cleanliness of all cushions for indoor and outdoor furniture needed to be improved. Top sheet missing on bed. 2 of 4 bikes had low air pressure, no pump available. Floor coverings in screened room needed to be cleaned. Although membership at the Cabana Club is mentioned in the details provided after booking, we confirmed there is no active membership. Size of house was perfect for 4 adults. Attention to the aforementioned, and previously noted/reviewed items would have improved the experience significantly.

Vacation August 2023

We had a wonderful time at this property. The house has a great layout for multiple couples. This house is in desperate need of upgrading. The couch is very old and dirty. The kitchen needs updated supplies. The pans and baking sheets were minimal, and they were old and scratched up. There were not enough bowls or eating utensils and no glass casserole dishes, no measuring cup. The cushions on the chairs and barstools were old and dirty. It could use some new bath towels. The pool had no tiles around the top edge which looked terrible. The screen door leading from the pool area is old and rusted and the screen door is broken. It is a great property, but needs full updating.

Needs property attention and safety concerns addressed

Location was great for boating. Other than that the property needs some maintenance for the asking rental price. A few examples; A/C smelled of mold, out dated furniture, all cabinets through the house are either broken or do not align/fall out of track, one of the shower door tracks where broken and a child from our party got stuck in the shower, beds were old and squeaky, screen door is broken, pool was dirty, tiki hut roof is in bad shape and leaked, pool deck needs cleaned and painted, two different colors of paint on the deck/dock at this time(looks like they ran out of paint and stopped), steps and railing to dock very unsafe, bumper rail for boats missing, only one cleat to tie off on, pool barrier fence is broken and has bungee cords attached to gate, neighboring fence is falling over, and the landscaping needs to be replaced badly! Please have the owner/manager(vrbo) contact me about this listing….Thank you

Outdated, not well stocked, mold on air vents

KCB is great. I’ve rented many houses there. This one did not meet our expectations. Air vents either have black mold or are really really dirty and it is very obvious they tried to paint over this. It is also not very well stocked. We had 8 bath towels for 8 people the entire week. I found 4 old beach towels to use by the pool. No hangers to hang clothes in closets. The bedding was awful- sheets and bedspread that was nothing more than another sheet. Cabinets in kitchen old and rickety. I did like the layout of the house- big and open. The tiki hut was nice but there is no other shade by the pool. So in July the pool was too warm and unless you sat under the tiki hut that has limited seating you couldn’t sit outside.

Disappointing

Upon arrival the pool was green/dirty, dock was partially collapsed, grill was a fire hazard, cigarette butts/bottle caps all over. Large pool umbrella was missing. Over the next day and 1/2 they addressed these issues. The bed in master bedroom was a interspring mattress with 2" foam pad on top. No box springs. Other beds also needs replaced. Layout was great but furniture is about shot. Example one couch had piece corner molding nailed to the top to hold it together. Toilet paper holder broken off wall. One shower not flowing properly. Linens old. Kitchen cabinet drawers falling out and not operating properly. Place needs remodeling and new furniture. Major failures by owners not keeping things up to date. Property managers not keeping up with quality control and little things. No wine opener or can opener. We ended up leaving early as we weren't sleeping well. Owner did credit us two nights stay for our trouble. But what we experienced should never have happened.

Friend's Wedding

As advertised, bedrooms, bathrooms, linens, kitchen supplies, outdoor supplies were good. House was neat and tidy and generally clean. It worked very well for the 8 of us that stayed there and the functions that we attended. One major issue was that the pool filter system had a leak that prevented the pool from staying full. It was a problem that that had existed for awhile which was disappointing in that it had not been fixed. We kept the water hose running to keep the pool full. The dishwasher upper rack fell off, and the were several kitchen cabinets/drawers that needed wiping out. The house maintenance contact fixed the dishwasher and we heard him speaking with the property manager that it was time, past time, to fix the pool. Overall, we were OK with our choice with no regrets and we do hope the manager takes action on the pool and any future maintenance more timely.
