NEW! Unique tower apartment / penthouse with a large south/west-facing rooftop terrace
We purchased our apartment in early 2020, have just modernized it, and have significantly enhanced its already beautiful appearance and high-quality finishes (e.g., Philipp Stark bathtub). Some of the walls were painted in an elegant shade of gray, the high-quality wood floors were oiled, and the apartment’s furnishings were updated (dining table and chairs from Riviera Maison, white modern beds and nightstands, etc.).
This exceptional vacation apartment in the Hohen Niendorf hunting lodge offers you the charm of days gone by combined with a breathtaking panoramic view, high-quality furnishings, and a high level of comfort in the midst of a beautiful park.
The tower apartment spans three levels, starting on the second floor (accessible by elevator) with two equally sized bedrooms, a bathroom, and a guest restroom; continuing to the third floor with a third small bedroom (perfect for newlyweds or children), a dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and a 30-square-meter rooftop terrace with cozy lounge furniture, and culminates in the living room in the tower. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the beautiful Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania countryside, the Salzhaff in Rerik, and—in the distance—the sparkling Baltic Sea. You’ll love the peace and quiet of this idyllic setting. The hunting lodge features a 70,000-square-meter park with a pond (one of the area’s attractions), which is perfect for a stroll.
Inside the lodge itself, you’ll find a sauna (for a fee) and a cozy fireplace room, as well as a washer and dryer (for a fee). In addition, our apartment has its own washing machine.
The hunting lodge is beautifully situated between Bastorf, Kühlungsborn, Rerik, and Heiligendamm—the latter known for its beautiful long sandy beaches and dunes.
Bastorf and its manor are just a 2-minute drive or a 10-minute bike ride away.
In just a few minutes by car, you can reach Kühlungsborn and Rerik, which offer a vast array of shops, restaurants, and the exciting Salzhaff—a perfect spot for stand-up paddleboarding and boating. The long promenade in Kühlungsborn, nestled between the dunes and the coastal forest, is perfect for a stroll, and there are also numerous other attractions as well as bike and hiking trails.
