Tenuta Irene is a magnificent, typically Tuscan estate: a beautifully restored, detached stone farmhouse set in an idyllic and exceptionally peaceful landscape in the heart of Tuscany.
Surrounded by approximately 80,000 m² of private grounds, the property offers absolute privacy and an authentic countryside atmosphere. The estate can accommodate up to 22 guests and is particularly suitable for large families, groups of friends, family celebrations and special occasions.
The property features a beautiful garden, a large private swimming pool, a fully equipped profess. kitchen, barbecue area, Wi-Fi internet access and air conditioning in 4 bedrooms. A luxurious Spa area is also available on request at an additional charge.

For larger celebrations, weddings, anniversaries and family gatherings, guests can also make use of the large reception salon and the professional communal kitchen, both included in the rental price.

Bedrooms: 8
The estate consists of the main house, the former barn (Fienile) and a separate chalet.
On the ground floor of the former barn, there are 2 independent apartments, each with one double bedroom. Each apartment also has a double sofa bed in the living area.
In the main house, accessible via an external staircase, there is an apartment with one bedroom featuring a romantic four-poster bed. One floor higher, there are three further double bedrooms, while one of the living areas also has a double sofa bed.
The separate chalet has 2 bedrooms, each furnished with two single beds which can be arranged together as a double bed. The living kitchen also features a double sofa bed.
In total, the property offers: 8 bedrooms, 3 double sofa beds.

Living Areas
Each of the two apartments in the former Fienile has a small, comfortable living area with a dining table, sofa bed and kitchenette.
In the main house, the first floor features a welcoming living room with a sofa and an original natural-stone fireplace dating back to 1927.
Halfway up the original natural-stone staircase is a traditional built-in wood-fired pizza oven. Guests are welcome to prepare and enjoy their own homemade pizzas here, with guidance and instructions from the owners if required.

Kitchens and Dining
The main house features a spacious, well-equipped kitchen adjoining the first-floor living room. From the kitchen, an external staircase provides direct access to the garden and to the traditional masonry bread and pizza oven, which has been carefully preserved in its original location.
The chalet contains the large communal kitchen, designed to allow meals to be prepared for the entire group. It is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, hob, electric oven, dishwasher, both German and Italian coffee machines, and all the necessary crockery, cookware and kitchen utensils.
Directly outside the kitchen is a covered veranda with a large dining table suitable for the entire group, offering a wonderful view over the swimming pool.
Just a few steps away is the beautifully equipped barbecue area, providing everything needed for memorable summer barbecues and outdoor meals.
High chairs are available for children upon request.
The spacious professional kitchen and the elegant salon above it, both included in the rental price, provide the perfect setting for celebrations and special occasions, helping to make every event truly memorable.

Bathrooms: 8+3
Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, generally en suite. The bathrooms feature shower cubicles, one or two washbasins, bidet and WC, with high-quality ceramics, marble and modern fittings.
Many of the shower areas are exceptionally spacious, in some cases extending across the entire width of the bathroom. Several bathrooms feature chromotherapy and sensory showers, combining water, fragrance, colour and light for a relaxing and atmospheric experience.
In addition, there are 3 guest WCs with washbasins distributed throughout the property.
A small selection of bathroom and shower products will be provided upon arrival.
Please note that there is NO WASHING MACHINE at the property. Guests are kindly requested to use one of the local laundrettes or laundry services in the surrounding area for washing their clothes.

Garden and Grounds
The estate extends over approximately 80,000 m² of private land.
The extensive, almost fairytale-like garden features an extraordinary variety of Mediterranean flowers, shrubs and trees, carefully arranged so that something is always in bloom or flourishing throughout the seasons.
There is also a dedicated Mediterranean herb garden, created especially for guests and containing a wide selection of herbs suitable for cooking.
The estate's surrounding agricultural fields are cultivated with certified organic crops, including various types of cereals.
Children can enjoy the large open lawns, while the private fishing pond, enclosed by a safety fence, is home to carp, pike and other fish.
The beautifully equipped masonry barbecue area is sure to become a favourite meeting point in the evenings. A table tennis table and the traditional pizza oven are also available.
Covered parking spaces are available within the grounds. The entrance gate is operated by remote control.

Private Swimming Pool
The beautiful private swimming pool enjoys a wonderful panoramic setting and measures approximately 8×16 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.25 to 1.50 metres.
The pool is equipped with internal lighting and is surrounded by sun loungers and a covered pergola. An outdoor shower is also available.
The pool house contains one WC and two showers.

A Truly Authentic Tuscan Atmosphere
The entire property features traditional wooden floors, while the impressive chestnut-beam ceilings contribute to the authentic character of this typical Tuscan country house.

Doors, windows and wardrobes are made of solid wood. The bedrooms have been furnished with great attention to detail, combining beautiful fabrics, elegant designs and a harmonious blend of classic and contemporary elements.

The result is a warm, refined and genuinely Tuscan atmosphere that reflects the exceptional taste of the owners.

Spa & Wellness Area
One of the property's highlights is the luxurious Spa area, located in one of the former cellar rooms.

The Spa includes a Finnish sauna and a Turkish bath (Hammam), as well as an elegant relaxation area where guests can unwind with a glass of Prosecco or Champagne, or simply enjoy a relaxing herbal tea.

The Spa is available exclusively to guests staying at Tenuta Irene, by prior arrangement with the Owner and at an additional charge of €150 per day.

It is normally available daily from 12:00 to 20:00, unless otherwise agreed with the Owner.

After closing, the Spa area is cleaned and sanitised by the staff.

Adjacent to the Spa is a charming wine cellar, where wine tastings accompanied by light refreshments can be arranged upon request, providing an authentic Tuscan experience in a unique setting.

The large reception salon and professional communal kitchen are available for celebrations and special events and are included in the rental price.

Pets
1 well-behaved pet may be accepted upon prior request and subject to an additional charge.
For hygiene and safety reasons, pets are not permitted inside the house.

The Surrounding Area – Casentino, Tuscany
Tenuta Irene is located in Casentino, a beautiful, wooded and still largely unspoilt area in the heart of Tuscany.

Unlike some of Tuscany's better-known tourist destinations, Casentino remains wonderfully authentic and peaceful. Here, guests can experience the rhythms of local life, surrounded by nature and traditional Tuscan villages, without the crowds often found in more heavily visited areas.

If you enjoy nature, tranquillity and authentic surroundings, Casentino is an ideal destination for a relaxing holiday.

The nearby towns and villages of Poppi, Bibbiena, Stia, Pratovecchio, Rassina and others offer plenty to discover. The famous monasteries of Camaldoli and La Verna are particularly worth visiting, as are the area's beautifully preserved castles and historic villages.

Local markets are held regularly, and the area still has many traditional small shops alongside supermarkets and shopping centres. Throughout the summer, local festivals and celebrations provide an excellent opportunity to discover Tuscan food, traditions and customs.

Tenuta Irene is also ideally located for exploring some of the most famous cultural destinations in Tuscany and central Italy.

Florence, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, Perugia, Cortona, Assisi and Arezzo can all be visited on comfortable day trips (approx. 1-2 hours by car)

Closer to home, the medieval town of Poppi, to which the property belongs, is just 3 km away. Here you will find cafés, bars, supermarket, restaurants, pizzerias, traditional local shops and a weekly market held on Tuesdays in the main square - everything needed for everyday life. In Bibbiena, 7 km away, you will find several supermarkets and a variety of other shops and services.

A good local restaurant serving lunch is 500 metres from the villa, while a pizzeria with its own brewery is around 1.5 km away.

Golf enthusiasts can enjoy the scenic golf course in Poppi, which is also worth visiting simply for its spectacular panoramic views over the hills of Casentino and towards the beautifully preserved medieval Castle of Poppi.

Arezzo is also well worth a visit. On the first weekend of every month, the city hosts its famous Antiques Market, one of the best-known antique markets in Italy.
