This 2 bedroom, 1 bath unit is located less than 1 mile from Dale Hollow Lake in Byrdstown, TN. Dale Hollow Lake is over 30 miles long with at least 688 miles of shoreline that offers fishing, swimming, boating, tubing, waterskiing, wake boarding and more. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes pots, pans, table service and more. A gas grill is also provided for your outdoor grilling and barbecues. Enjoy the tranquil surroundings from the covered porch after spending a day on beautiful Dale Hollow Lake. Spend the evening relaxing around your campfire. Firewood is provided at no charge. Kitchen, bath towels and bedding are also provided. Up to two dogs are permitted in this cabin and there is a weight limit of 40 pounds. No cats are permitted. We also have plenty of room to park boat trailers with ease.
To see our second pet friendly unit visit Cabin A at www.VRBO/570141. Dale Hollow Lake is not a private lake, so you are welcome to bring your own watercraft. You can launch at a nearby marina at no charge. If you want to keep a boat in the water during your stay, there are covered rental slips nearby. There are also places to rent all types of watercrafts. You can even rent pontoon boats with slides and gas grills! Scenic location

It was a short drive to the lake and the accommodations had a scenic view. We enjoyed seeing deer in the meadow.

Great secluded place!

Great place to stay to get away from everything, but close enough to activity if you want to take part, as the boat rental is just miles away. Roger was a great host and even brought us homemade biscuits and jam one morning. Definitely a place that my wife and I will frequent often!

Quiet Location

Nice property, small but efficient. Sitting area (couch) in unit ā€œBā€ was very uncomfortable when trapped inside due to rain storm. View is great and the cabin itself is efficient, clean and to the point. About 6 miles from Eagle Cove Marina.

Truly Relaxing!

Can't beat this one for a weekend together if you are looking for cozy and peaceful. I especially liked the fact that this cabin was not in the tourist area but was very close to the places we wanted to go. Roger was great and very accommodating and the biscuits were a wonderful touch (Thanks Roger). The weather was great, the lake beautiful and not crowded at all, and we slept like babies in the cabin. Highly recommended.

Peaceful and Perfect!

We enjoyed a few days in the "Slice of Heaven" and it was just that! The view from the front porch is spectacular! Really enjoyed our biscuits and jelly! We were there to enjoy a few days at the lake and this was a perfect location. Plenty of room to park our boat when it wasn't in the water. Dale Hollow Lake was as beautiful as we remembered it from 25 years ago! Great trip with my son and daughter-in-law to celebrate my 65th birthday! Thanks for making this beautiful place available to be enjoyed by all!

Very nice place to getaway with excellent accomodations and hospitality

My husband and I were looking for a weekend getaway and we couldn't have found a better place! The new little cabin is small but comfortable and has absolutely everything you need for an "at home" feel. Warm homemade biscuits and jam were delivered to our door our first morning there and they were very tasty! We had plenty of room for our bass boat and was just short of a mile to a low traffic FREE boat ramp to Dale Hollow. It was perfect and we will be back!!! Thank you Sharon and Roger for sharing your "Slice of Heaven" with us! It is greatly appreciated and enjoyed!!! God Bless you both!!!

Beautiful, peaceful, restful, easygoing

Roger makes the best biscuits, hands down! The cabin was super cute and clean, and a nice, cool refuge from the summer heat. We had everything we needed, and Roger was great about stopping by to tell us what was going on in town and where the closest swimming holes were. He even secured a life vest for my son. My dog was welcome, and he enjoyed ranging around the farm. The view was lovely, especially at night under the light of the full moon. We were very close to the lake, marina, and various put-ins, but not so close that we had to deal with things like parking lots and noise. I needed a place where we could just be ourselves and relax, and this was definitely the place. When we get some time to get away in the future, weā€™ll be checking in with Roger first.

One of the best!!

This was one of the best experiences we've had. Jeff called us the day before to see if we needed anything, had any questions, and to make sure we had his number. He then checked on us the day of our travel to let us know that if we tried to reach he might be out of contact so leave a message and he will call back, but he also came to check on us when we got there to introduce himself, make sure all is well, and gave us some options of things to do. We asked about a bike trail, he didn't know of any, but the next morning I received a text of where to go. I would recommend this to anyone who loves peace and quiet after a long day.

Beautiful views of mountains, close to Dale Hollow Lake marinas and relaxing, quiet atmosphere!!

From the time we got there, Roger made us feel welcome, and right at home. The homemade biscuits he delivered the first morning were sooo good!! My mother and I enjoyed 10 days at this ā€œslice of heavenā€. From incredible views, sitting on the front porch rocking our cares away, and Rogerā€™s downhome, friendly hospitality made our stay amazing. Not to mention my two dogs would agree, it was a doggy slice of heaven too. They had plenty room to roam, and made a friend with the neighbor dog Rufus, who is friendly, sweet and affectionate!!! The dogs loved him coming by to say hi and enjoyed running and playing with him. Thankā€™s Roger for everything!! My mother and I thank you for your hospitality! If you want to get away from it all, this is your ā€œslice of heavenā€!! I will definitely be back!!!!

AMAZING host and property!!!

Jeff was fun to talk to and SUPER helpful. My best friend arrived before me and I was having car trouble the last 100 miles out. Jeff said "Do I need to go hook up my car hauler and we go get her?". Staying at Jeff's place is like visiting the brother I never had!! The cabin was SUPER clean and everything you need to relax and make it home for however long you are staying. The grill is PRIMO. We used it multiple times that week!! Almost brand new 5 burner and squeaky clean!! He has two cabins so if you have two families and want to be together but not together, this is the spot!!! Firepit and firewood just off the porches!! Visit Dale Hollow lake but WHEN YOU WANT TO. Anything closer to the lake is "partyville" we sat on the porch til 4am the night we got there. I can't say enough about Jeff and his hospitality and personality!! Definitely our go to place going forward!!!

Relaxing in the country but playing in the water!

After driving for several hours, we called to let Roger know we would be arriving soon. Although it was very late, he met us on a main road and led us all the way to our cabin. With so much space, parking the boat was no problem. Roger is probably the nicest man you will ever meet! He gave us a quick tour of the cabin and then arrived a day later with hot biscuits and homemade jam. The cabin was as cute as can be, very clean, well-stocked, and felt like home. We especially enjoyed the front porch, complete with rocking chairs and beautiful scenery, and a grill for the evening meal! We brought our dog with us and he LOVED having all the land to explore. It's a beautiful and peaceful place to relax. We were only about 10 minutes to Dale Hollow and of course we spent time on the water as well. One night we ordered pizza from Sister's Pizzeria. It was pretty good! Roger is a wonderful host and within minutes of arriving, you will feel like family. :) We miss it already!

Great, clean rental

Stayed here several nights. It was very clean and everything needed was provided. Jeff was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The place was quiet and peaceful and had a nice area for the dog to explore. Will definitely return to this place.

Beautiful View

Worked out perfect for us, pet friendly. Our dogs had fun running around. The cabin has a beautiful view. Quiet, peaceful place. Jeffrey is very easy to deal with, involved, answered immediately, very friendly. The place was clean, very well equipped with all the necessities. There was only 1 problem, we didnā€™t want to leave. We will definitely plan to go back for a whole week.

Perfect getaway

The cabin & view were absolutely beautiful. Jeff was a delight to deal with prior to, during and after our stay. The cabin was stocked with all needed items from pots and pans, dishes, towels, toilet paper, etc. My husband and I stayed here for an extended weekend getaway while we did some hiking and boating at Dale Hollow. We are already discussing making this a yearly trip and staying at one of Jeff's cabins! Also, if you are lucky, you will get a visit from a friendly basset hound from up the street <3

There are so many things to do and places to visit you will never be bored. However, you may just want to sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. We have it all right here in Central TN. Dale Hollow Lake we are told is the third cleanest lake in the country and holds the world record for small mouth bass! The welcome center is right here in Byrdstown and has all of the information and brochures to help you plan your vacation. People here are very friendly so donā€™t be surprised as they smile and say hello or wave to you as you drive by. We look forward to meeting as you enjoy this beautiful lake and this part of the country.
