Beautiful Lakefront Home On Lake Norman

Welcome to comfort and tranquility! This home sits on a large wooded lot in a large quiet cove just off the main channel of Lake Norman. In addition to the screened porch, huge deck, and flagstone patio (with fire pit), the many windows of the 2 story house offer incredible views of the lake and makes it perfect for socializing and entertaining. This custom built home has an open floor plan, creating a warm, homey space that gives the illusion of a larger home. The kitchen has a large granite island, great for entertaining. A true renter value!

For entertainment, there is a 55" SmartTV with cable/wifi and a stereo system (including Sirius and iPod ready) with indoor and outdoor (deck and screened porch) speakers. This 3 bedroom/ 2.5 bath has the master down with 2 bedrooms and a separate loft (with doors) with a sleeper sofa upstairs.

At 175 feet, this lot's pier is the longest on Lake Norman, and this is one of the few homes to have it's own boat ramp to drop in jet skis (cannot put a boat in the water). You can swim off the end of the deep water floating dock or from the shore. The flat grassy area of lot is great for badminton, corn hole, or other games. Lounge on the deck or floating dock and feel yourself slipping into paradise!

Being in such a private, peaceful area, it's hard to believe that this home is located close to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping areas, and Interstate 77. Everything you could ever need or want in a rental property!

Amazing, clean home, with great views of the lake. Terri is a great host, she reached out before our, during and after our stay to ensure we had all the details we needed, that everything went well, etc. We will be back (in the warmer weather next time!)

Amazing lake getaway

We had an amazing time at this rental! This was an ideal spot on the lake for our boating experience. It was a quiet and relaxing spot. The lake was easily accessible for swimming or floating on a tube. The kitchen was stocked with every cooking utensil/item you could need during your stay. The owners also reply promptly to any questions. We hope to make this a yearly trip!

Absolutely Wonderful Experience!

The property is everything you could want and more! It is a perfect location in a quiet neighborhood but close to everything. The dock worked out well for our boat. The ramp was less than 10 minutes by boat and car away. The house was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need. There was plenty of space in the yard for games like corn hole and Kan Jam. It also brought plenty of wildlife to watch. The communication was great with the owners. We would highly recommend and we will be back!!

Exceeded all expectations!

Being a boating family, we decided to try a vacation on Lake Norman for the first time over the 4th of July. One of the best decisions we have ever made. Started with watching fireworks just off the dock in all directions. The location of the house is perfect. Close enough to everything to make life convenient, but far enough away and secluded to truly relax. House was stocked with everything you could imagine. Numerous times, my wife and I said it felt as though we were visiting family in a full-time lived in home. Zero 'rental feel' to the home. House and grounds were spotless, everything worked, and we had zero issues with anything. Terri could not have been more helpful with information, reminders and assisting with making the check-in/out processes seamless. Beds were very comfortable in all the rooms. We trailered a 28' boat and the dock served us well. Well built, easy in and out. Perfect for swimming and fishing as well. Even the neighbors were very nice and welcoming. Can't recommend this home and Terri more. We are already locking in dates for next year. Thank you for a great experience.

Perfection

Our family of four LOVED this house! We have rented no less than 10 houses from VRBO and this one was the best. Included soap, TP, paper towels, dishwasher detergent—very considerate! House is well appointed and clean. Terri is very easy to work with and replied to texts quickly. Cement boat ramp in lake made SUP boarding very easy. Cannot wait to go back!! Other recommendations: Epic Chophouse (bread pudding to die for), CS Rentals of Lake Norman for a boat, Blowing Rock for a Main Street experience (worth the drive!). Perfect house—go!!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING.

This was our favorite vacation ever. We booked this homecoming because it looked beautiful via pictures but it was so much more impressive to experience it in person. Views Everywhere. Beautiful wood views in the front. Stunning lake views everywhere else. The lake was warm, so we spent most of our days chilling on the dock & swimming in the lake. We spent our nights grilling out, chasing fireflies & cooking s’mores over the fire pit. So relaxing - we didn’t want to leave. Owners were incredibly nice & easy to get ahold of. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Clean, has all necessities

This house had everything we needed for a weekend away. We only needed to bring ourselves and a small bag of our personal items/clothes! The lake is beautiful during peak autumn - colorful leaves reflecting off the lake make for a great backdrop for pictures :)

Absolutely Perfect Vacation Location!

This house is everything you see in the photos and more! Having rented several lake house properties through VRBO, we can honestly say this was the best! The house is practically new and everything is impeccably clean and in perfect working order. Terri has thought of everything you will need to have a relaxing stay, from hangars to lake towels, wine glasses to waffle irons. But as beautiful as the home is, you will be equally pleased with the lovely lake setting just steps from the spacious deck. Whether you are playing corn hole on the level green lawn or taking in the expansive view from the dock, you can enjoy this property with or without a boat. However if you do bring you boat, having a launch ramp in your own back yard is the ultimate convenience. Additionally, we could not have been more impressed with the communication process and information provided. Terri seems to be able to answer your questions before you even have to ask. Wonderful lake house experience which we highly recommend!

Amazing lake house

We loved our stay at this home! From the minute you walk in, you receive the bright, open, clean atmosphere that is right before you in the large family room and kitchen area. The screen porch is a haven of solitude for early morning and late evening rest and relaxation of any kind. The bedrooms are gracious in size and tastefully decorated. If you plan to eat in as we did for the most part, the kitchen is spacious and accomdating. However, it was somewhat challenging at times to find smaller appliances like a useable can opener. Ultimately, the bright, natural light streaming in to this house and the unobstructed views of the lake make this house a happy place where you will immediately feel at home and remain that way however long or short your stay may be!

Class Act!!!

We loved our Lake Norman family vacation!! This lake front new house has a beautiful, private and quiet setting and the Interior is beautiful !! So many nice areas to gather, the screened in porch, the deck, the great dock and the fire pit to end the evening! The owners were soooo nice and helpful with our arrival and departure by text! Loved the code entry to the house no key to fool with! Close to stores and reM owner the day after we got home that our security deposit was in the mail! Class act experience ! Thank you Terri!!!

Great Lake House!

We have rented several homes over the years on Lake Norman and this has been our favorite. The property was great and the home owners were easy to work with. They have done a great job setting up this beautiful home. Layout is open with great views of the lake throughout. Home was stocked with all the amenities. We will definitely be trying to come back!

Great Lake house near Davidson college

My family and I used this home for a long weekend and it was everything we expected and more. The layout is open and all the amenities you could want including a fire pit my family thoroughly enjoyed making s'mores on. Terri was awesome in answering all of my questions. We are already discussing when we can go back as a family again.

Quite, comfortable, clean living

My wife and I and another couple spent a long weekend at this home. The living space is wide open, the bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean and comfortable. It was a pleasure working with Terri the owner. At one point I thought the ice maker wasn't working (turned out I didn't put the little arm down) and she offered to reimburse us for the purchase of ice if necessary. I love lakes, and they have a wonderful (I'm guessing about 75-100 ft front) view of lake Norman. Its about a 10 minute ride to everything you need at Target or grocery stores. Just a great relaxing time - we would definitely do it again! I looked at another property before renting from Terri and the rules were so restrictive I decided to stay here and I am very glad we did.

Awesome weekend!

This house was beyond my expectations! Everything was provided that we needed from the coffee filters to the bath towels. Our group had a wonderful time relaxing on the porch and catching up with one another. The house is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. The dock was also a great addition! We will be back!

Terrible Experience!

I never suggest you to rent this house, Barbecue does not work. There is no enough kitchen tool, and the approach of the homeowners was horrible. watch your deposit, they want to keep it as much as they can.

Perfect Weekend Get Away

We rented this house to use while we visited Davidson for Parents' Weekend. Our family enjoyed all of the comforts of home alongside the gorgeous views of Lake Norman in a quiet setting and lovely neighborhood. It was the perfect spot to host our daughter and a few of her friends and parents for dinner in a beautiful relaxed setting with plenty of space and seating. My husband I enjoyed the deck with our coffee in the mornings and our wine in the evenings. My most cherished memory will be enjoying sitting around the fire for 2 hours or so talking with our two teenagers. I can't remember the last time we had that luxury outside of a car trip! We hope to return!

Gorgeous home

When we arrived we were amazed at how gorgeous the home and property are. Everything is pristine and we had everything we needed. I loved the porch and spent hours there while others were on the dock fishing. The fire pit was perfect for s'mores at night. Great lake with beautiful views from house and from the boat, it was fun to see all the spectacular homes and have dinner at the Blue Parrot.

Comfort-Luxe

When you arrive at this home it is easily recognizable because it is exactly as beautiful as it is in all of the photos. The interior is tastefully decorated but it is also comfortable and relaxing. The lot is flat,spacious& you have an excellent view of the channel behind the house. The dock was a great place to fish or to tube and float from. My favorite location in the whole house was the screened in porch! In the evenings it was relaxing with the ceiling fan on & during the day it was a nice place to hide from the sun when needed. The deck is also lovely and with enough room for everybody. I thought a very nice touch was the built in speakers outside on the deck and in the screened in porch. Definitely worth the money and it was a wonderful place to stay!

Just Perfect!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in this Lake Norman home. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this one is definitely top notch with a very impressive attention to the details. We rented a pontoon boat, kayak and paddle board and the weather was absolutely perfect for enjoying these activities. The owner is readily available to answer any questions and has done an awesome job making this home truly spectacular!
