Casa Agave Rosa is a private 3000 sq ft four-level villa perched just three blocks from Puerto Vallarta’s iconic Malecón with sweeping views across Banderas Bay, the city skyline, and the lush Sierra Madre mountains beyond. From this elevated setting, enjoy both the energy of the historic centro district and the tranquility of a peaceful retreat. Endless restaurants, galleries, beaches, nightlife, and the charm of Zona Romántica are all within easy walking distance, making it the perfect home base for exploring everything Puerto Vallarta has to offer.

The house is just a few years old with modern comforts, natural light, and ocean breezes. The highlight of the home is the spectacular rooftop terrace, where a small dipping pool, BBQ, and outdoor dining area create the perfect setting for relaxing and gathering. Enjoy morning coffee overlooking the bay, long afternoons soaking up the sunshine, or unforgettable sunset dinners as the sky turns gold and the city lights begin to sparkle below. On clear days, the views stretch across the entire bay toward the Marieta Islands.

Inside, the villa is designed for both comfort and flexibility. Fast, reliable WiFi, hot showers with private ensuites in every bedroom, comfortable high-quality bedding, and two kitchens stocked with cooking essentials make it easy to settle in and feel at home.

PVR Gamily Gathering

We traveled with our two adult kids (mid twenties) and their spouses. It was a terrific location. We really appreciated the items available to allow us to cook, clean water available throughout our week, very responsive host and the wonderful dipping pool on the top level.

Thoroughly enjoyed the house! Great location with easy walk to top restaurants and Malecón. We stayed two weeks and absolutely not one item we could complain about!! Especially loved the perfect view of the nightly fireworks. Loved the location in historic PV where we could observe local families going to work and school.

Absolutely Wonderful!

This place is perfect and JUST as described, but better. The location is superb and the view is lovely. Clean, great amenities, many extras, and strong WiFI. Ted and Brischa are incredible and so helpful and kind. Everything was easy and communication was excellent. I didn't want to leave and can't wait until we return!

Just Beautiful!

Everything was wonderful. From the greeting upon our arrival to the cleanliness of the rooms to the elegance of having your own private roof-top pool and dining area. Close to the Malecon and tons of nearby restaurants. Central location. Highly recommend!

Close to everything

Wonderful hosts who met us upon our arrival. Lots of stairs, but that is to be expected in PV as walking is sometimes the best way to get around. Fantastic views from the kitchen and rooftop. House was clean and safe.

Awesome!

Place is perfect for up to 3 couples. Exactly as photos. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Amazing pool and sundeck with fabulous views. Well stocked kitchen. Very clean. Personalized check-in and out made it very relaxing. Central to everything PV offers. We would highly recommend and will absolutely return.

Amazing property in the heart of town

Host was warm and welcoming. Communication was easy and prompt. Condo was clean and spacious with all amenities and an amazing view. The light refreshments were a welcome treat upon our arrival. The location was within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, beaches, and the lively Malecon!! Thank you so much!!

Casa de la Luz!

Casa de la Luz is absolutely beautiful. Everything was impeccably clean. The host met us upon arrival to give us a tour of the home and instructions. The beds are enormous and each room had its own en-suite restroom/shower. The kitchen was stocked with fruit, water, beer, juices, salsa, and chips and guac. And the view…oh the view! Absolutely insane view of town and the ocean.

Great with small shortcomings

Very nice house, lot of stairs. Only 2 things we would have like better. There is no open space with living room to gather everybody in a more relax setting only a kitchen/dining and rooftop terrace which is not enough protected from the sun during the day. But we spent very nice time in the dipping pool. Very lively area so expect a bit noisy.

Wonderful ocean view villa for a group of friends

We’d definitely stay again ! We had a great stay made extra special by the warm welcome, walkthrough and communication by our hosts. The cleaners and pool guy were super friendly and nice services. The kitchen was well equipped and we really appreciated the bonus welcome supplies left by our hosts. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The rooftop is amazing and way better than the listing photos suggest. Bring eye masks and ear plugs if you wanna sleep into the morning. This was fourth VRBO stay in P.V. and a bit farther from the bars. Nonetheless we found the walk to be pleasant — especially downhill. Ubers we’re an easy way home for less than $2 usd.

Wonderful week at Casa de la Luz

We had a wonderful stay with our son, his wife and our 22 year old daughters. From our first communication, AnnBritt was a delight to work with and checkin was easy with the property managers, Brischa and Ted. They were accommodating when our flights were delayed, offered us a late checkout and were very responsive during our stay when we had a few questions/requests. The house is beautifully updated, The three ensuite bedrooms worked well for us. The rooftop pool (the views!) and lounging areas were great! The kitchen also offers stunning views of the city and sea. The cleaner and the pool guy came twice during our stay - beds were changed and towels laundered- such luxury! The house is townhome style in a with 4 levels in a hilly but very nice neighborhood.

Fantastico!!

From our initial booking to the last day of our trip, Brischa and Ted were absolutely EXCELLENT hosts! Prior to arrival, they answered any and all questions and during our stay they addressed any issues within minutes and offered great suggestions during our visit. Cold beverages, fresh fruit, chips and salsa and guacamole welcomed us as soon as we arrived. The property is modern, clean (housekeeping and pool service every other day) and close to everything! Kitchen equipped with new appliances made making meals easy and convenient. Living in Centro PV, expect a bit of noise since you are in the midst of a bustling community. We couldn't have asked for a better home away from home experience and will definitely stay again when we return!

A perfect stay

We absolutely loved Casa de la Luz! Things that stood out for us:- ideal location This is located in a quiet neighborhood in the old Centro, just a few blocks from the Cathedral. Not being familiar with PV, one of our big concerns was that we’d be right next to a loud club and not be able to sleep. But this is such a quiet are. Very peaceful and safe. The location also made it perfect for walking - there’s tons of shopping, restaurants and places to see within walking distance, not to mention the main boardwalk!-view and adorable propertyThe open-air kitchen and top floor both have amazing views. The property itself is so cute and charming! The host and the cleaning staff were so kind and helpful. It was just a great experience from start to finish. If you are looking for a space that’s perfect for intimate gatherings of friends and family, close to everything but still peaceful, this is the place to stay!

Wonderful stay

This property was perfect for my family and met all of our needs. The property managers made the check in-process super easy. They even had refreshments and freshly made snacks for us! The house is beautiful, clean and well-maintained. Most importantly, it felt authentically Mexican with a central open-air courtyard and beautiful tile throughout. Each morning we gathered for coffee in the kitchen where we opened the retractable doors and took in the beautiful view of the Pacific while enjoying the cool breeze. In the evenings we met on the rooftop to swim and enjoy dinner together as the sun set. Each room was spacious, the bathrooms were well equipped and we even had housekeeping service once during our stay. We found the locations perfect as it was quiet but within easy walking distance to all the attractions—the beach, restaurants, shopping and Zona Romantica. We could not have been happier with this property and look forward to retuning soon!

Not what we expected

Could use some revision. There really is not a place for 6 people to hang out anywhere. The kitchen table was stuck close to the wall - would be better centered so everyone could enjoy the view - which was great. The “pool” was very small. Looked larger in the pics. There was a table in the back on that floor but no one wanted to go back there. All in all it just was off the mark. Looked good on paper but in person not so much

Hi Nancy, and we are so sorry that you were disappointed. Our previous guests have all been very happy and we actually have not heard of anyone not liking to be up on the roof terrace with the 360° view of the mountains and ocean with the sofa and table and chairs. The pool is a dipping pool, which it states in the description so I don’t think anything was misrepresented. We’re looking at the photos on the vrbo site and they show the villa exactly as it is and most people think it’s stunning. Again, very sorry you were not happy. Best Regards, Ted & Brischa

Séjour extraordinaire

La demeure est magnifique! Nous avons passé des moments incroyables à profiter de la terrasse qui offre des points de vue splendides sur la mer et le quartier. Ce que l'on voit sur les photos, c'est ce que l'on voit sur place. La villa est également bien située autant pour la plage que pour les restos et les promenades dans les rues. Place sécuritaire. Nous avons reçu un accueil très attentionné de la part des propriétaires. Ils font preuve d'une flexibilité vraiment appréciée par rapport à l'arrivée et au départ. Très bonne communication avec eux avant et pendant le séjour. Grande disponibilité et intervention rapide pour répondre à nos besoins durant le séjour. Des gens vraiment sympathiques. On se sentait chez-nous! Merci!

We've been enjoying Puerto Vallarta over the past 20 years and finally decided to purchase a beautiful property here and share it with family, friends, and travelers to the area. We split our time between Vancouver in the summer and Puerto Vallarta in the winter and really love both places.

One thing we love about Puerto Vallarta is how unique each little neighborhood is. This is our favorite because it's so walkable and it retains the Mexican character that we enjoy so much. Hidden little bodegas, galleries, and unique shops, without any modern glass towers. And it's a short walk to all the most popular areas like the Malecon and Zona Romantica. The best of both worlds - convenient location, with real Mexican charm.

The incredible unobstructed view will take your breath away! We love relaxing on the rooftop patio, taking a dip in the pool every once in a while, and enjoying dinner as the sun sets over the bay.
