The Space:

Located off a quiet road on Okaloosa Island, this bright condo offers a number of desirable features including brand new ceramic tile throughout, a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, a large, furnished balcony to take in those outstanding Gulf views, and a private washer/dryer for guest convenience.



Shared property amenities available to guests include a large pool, a grilling and picnic area, and a shuffleboard court.



Islander Beach Resort is conveniently close to a wide variety of attractions such as the Gulfarium, Wild Willy’s Adventure Zone, and the Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island. For pontoon rentals, check out Island Watersports Company and spend a day anchored at Crab Island in Destin or explore Choctawhatchee Bay. And when it's time to dine out, nearby restaurants include the Crab Trap, Rockin’ Tacos, the Gulf, and Stewby’s Seafood Shanty.

The property was in a beautiful location. The condo was very spacious for our party of 9 (6 adults 2 children and a baby) . We will stay here again.

I loved our stay at this property! The condo looked just like the pictures. It was clean, convenient and had anything we could have asked for in a long weekend getaway. I would stay in this condo again!

Great place for everyone

We had 6 adults and 1 3 year old and the space was absolutely perfect! Loved that every room had its own bathroom and everything was up to date and very nice. Will hopefully be back next year!

Amazing condo, great views, convenient to everything!

We stayed here for our 25th annual girls trip and just LOVED the property and all the amenities! Yhe rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, and kitchen well-stocked. The inclusion of a beach set up was icing on the cake. We highly recommend!

Home away from home

Love the location of this unit beachfront and on corner it was clean and the kids room had a few toys great location off the busy streets the staff was great next time we come back to Fort Walton this be our vacation home .

Family vacation

We all enjoyed our stay. Unit was clean and well furnished for our needs. The drip coffee maker did not work but was quickly replaced. There was also a Keurig coffee maker.

Great week with family.

There were 7 adults and a baby and there was plenty of room for everyone. The condo was clean and updated and well decorated. The views of the water are great. We had a Great time. The condo could use some additional chairs on the balcony and also make it a requirement for the carts to be returned to the entrance for the next family. There were no carts to take our stuff up and none were returned for the majority of our stay. We were able to get 1 when we left.

Well furnished kitchen and extra beach chairs. Games puzzles books.

Very easy process. Good communication with staff. Washer broke on Thursday and a new one was installed the next day!

Lovely Beach Getaway

The Islander is an excellent location for a summer getaway! The unit is so close to the white powdery beach—about a 3-5minute walk from the door to your beach chair. The beach was perfect and the water some of the most beautiful I’ve seen. The unit it comfortable and spacious. Only slight negative were the gym hours. They gym was only open 9-5pm and that was pretty inconvenient because I like to workout early and by 9am my kids were up and ready to get to the pool, beach, or outing.

We enjoyed the condo, the beautiful beach, location was awesome! The construction work on the property was annoying. The elevator was not working two afternoons. I have had knee surgery and walk with a cane. The walk upstairs to the sixth floor was painful. When the renovation is complete by next summer it will be an awesome place to vacation!

Overall A Great Stay

The location of this unit is fantastic and the unit is much larger than the pictures appear. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were somewhat disappointed with the cleanliness of the unit. On the first day, walking around without shoes inside only made your feet super dirty. While this next comment could be related more to the renovations going on at the building, there was a situation where a roach crawled across the kitchen counter 😖. One shower had a mouth guard left in it hanging over the shower nozzle. Truly, we would consider staying gere again, but would hope it would show improvement in terms of cleanliness, especially since we couldn't early check in due to them saying it was to allow time for proper cleaning. Again, great location, comfortable and well decorated.

No rest here

There was construction from early in the morning to close to sundown. Air compressors paint smell and drills. No one could try to nap or sleep in. If I had a small child the experience would have been more horrible. We came to be at beach and rest. Not here folks. Our flight was delayed 8 hours. I called management and asked for a later check out. No help there either. It is unfortunate no one informed us of the constant noise before we arrived. Some compensation should be offered.
