The furnishings were nice, but the place was dirty. Our feet were black after walking on the floor for just a few minutes. There was lots of hair from previous residents on the floor, the rugs were not clean, the kitchen sink was dirty and there was garbage in the drain. The gasket for the garbage disposal was not the correct one so garbage flew everywhere rendering the garbage disposal useless. The maintenance team knowingly left a broken drawer in the kitchen with at least 30 exposed nails sticking out. On day two (after making two contacts with the management company), they came to repair. The maintenance person said he was going outside to fix the drawer, but never returned. We made another contact with management. The kitchen silverware drawer is gone (so they can build a new one?) and the silverware sits in a tray on the counter and there is a hole where the used to be located. The kitchen pans were rusted. The toilet in the middle bathroom had a broken handle and could not be flushed. When we took the lid off to manually flush it, the entire rim covered in black mold. A throw blanket on the bed that was grossly stained. They offered to send the cleaning team, but by the 2nd day, I had already cleaned up as best I could. I won't rent from the Avari Management group again. I feel bad for the owner as it could be an awesome condo. It's nicely furnished, good location, but the cleaning people and the lack of proper maintenance made the entire stay feel nasty.
