Our favorite feature of SkyBox is at the top of the adorable spiral staircase ascending from the third floor to the rooftop, where a private rooftop patio awaits with sweeping views of downtown TC and the waters of West Grand Traverse Bay. With plenty of space and seating for at least six people to enjoy cocktails, chat with friends, and watch the sunrises or sunsets, our rooftop deck is the place to be!

Located on the second floor of SkyBox you will find an open living room, dining area, and kitchen, where large windows bring in plentiful sunshine making it a prime space to host friends and family during your stay! The contemporary kitchen has brand new, stainless steel appliances that support cooking at home or storing leftovers. If you find that your adventures around town or to the beach result in sandy attire, rest easy knowing that we offer a full laundry room conveniently located next to one of the bathrooms!

SkyBox is a townhouse style condo with both bedrooms and the second bathroom on the third floor. Each of our queen bedrooms have nearly floor to ceiling windows, bringing in natural light and extensive space for two adults per bedroom. Luxury vinyl plank flooring flows through the entirety of the residence providing a homey but clean feel.

Unlike many downtown condos, SkyBox has a private, single car drive under garage that offers convenience and protection for you and your car!

GUEST ACCESS
Guests have access to the entire unit, private garage (one space), and private rooftop patio. An entry code for the electronic keypad will be provided prior to arrival.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Steps from local favorites including Folgarelli's, Burritt's Market, Chef's In, Traverse City Pie Company, The Cheese Lady, and Modern Bird. Just a few short blocks to the heart of downtown Traverse City with endless dining, shopping, and entertainment options. A curated local guide is provided at check-in.

GETTING AROUND
Downtown Traverse City is fully walkable. Uber and Lyft are also available.

Perfect place to stay maximizing every square foot! Incredibly clean, great location!!!!

Absolutely perfect condo! Beautiful place, extremely clean, outstanding amenities and great location. We were in easy walking distance from both town and beach. The only cautions are many steps and very tight parking in the garage. We drove a Ford Edge and I’m not sure if a larger vehicle would have fit. We didn’t have reason for much contact with the owners, but they were great at sending emails prior to the trip giving great TC tricks as well as friendly reminders while there of processes. I would absolutely stay here again as well as recommend to anyone looking for a great place in TC!

Directions and Parking

Address: The address provided doesn’t take you to the right location. It takes you to a house across/down the street who has apparently been dealing with renters trying to enter their home for the last year. According to him, he has asked the hosts numerous times to provide better directions and yet the check-in info mentions nothing about it. Understandably, he was not very happy. Parking: Unless you have a smart car, don’t plan on fitting into the garage. Even if you wanted to try the 20-pt turn to try and squeeze a mid-size car into the garage, you would have to track down the other 8 renters who block the drive with their cars because they can’t fit them in their garage. Outside of the 1 parking spot in the adjacent lot, there isn’t any overnight parking for a half mile. Parking is horrible. Good luck. Privacy: There isn’t any. You are quite literally 15’ from the next building in any direction which are all packed with rentals. When you look out the window, all you see is another window looking back at you. The roof top patio has a small partition but you can still hear/see all of the adjacent renters. Smell: There is a strong mildew/mold odor inside the unit. Not sure what it is, but very noticeable.

Hey Wes, thank you so much for your feedback. We have not been aware of the entry information issue before. We have gone through our listing to improve the directions sent to guests. The garage is very tight, which we share in the listing (and now include the exact dimensions). This condo has also added an additional parking space to it, which is a huge plus! We have looked into the smell and discussed with our cleaners to be sure this is not an issue in the future. Again, thank you so much for your feedback, we take it very seriously and will continue to monitor the issues that you have mentioned above.
