This accessible, tiny-house-style bungalow, built in 2020, is located in the garden of my parents’ home. “Tiny” doesn’t mean a lack of comfort. With its well-thought-out floor plan and extensive amenities, up to four people will find everything they need for a relaxing stay in the 32 m² of living space and 12 m² terrace.
In addition to the practical floor plan, we paid special attention to eco-friendly construction. The bungalow is built using a wood-frame construction method. Excellent wall insulation and triple-pane windows ensure that it doesn’t get too hot in the summer. In winter and during the transitional seasons, underfloor heating ensures comfortable temperatures.
The walls paneled with solid wood (with the exception of the bathroom) create a pleasant living environment.
The bungalow is located on a quiet residential street. Nevertheless, you can quickly reach Lake Eder (8 km) or the Eder Bike Path (500 m).
A supermarket (2 km) is also within easy walking distance along the Eder floodplain.
The bakery is 200 m away.
The spa town of Bad Wildungen is 10 km away, and the medieval town of Fritzlar with its cathedral is 15 km away. The nearest major city is Kassel, which can be reached by car in 40 minutes.
