The home has been thoughtfully designed to provide modern comfort while maintaining the relaxed charm of a lakeside getaway. Mini-split systems in every room provide both air conditioning and heat for year-round comfort.

A Note for Light Sleepers

The home is located near active train tracks that are used only a few times each day, including one or two early-morning passings. We find the trains to be part of the area’s unique small town charm, but understand they may be noticeable to lighter sleepers.

Both bedrooms are equipped with sound machines to help provide a comfortable and restful night.

At Off the Rails Lake House, you can slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the simple pleasures of waterfront living. Spend your days exploring Lake Champlain and the surrounding Adirondack region, then return home to relax on the deck just yards from the water.

Guest Access

Guests have access to the entire home via a keypad entry, as well as the entire yard. Please note that the garage on the property is locked and not accessible to guests.

Security cameras are located near the side door and facing the pump house. NO cameras face the deck, waterfront or sitting areas
