Forgo the winter blues this year and embrace the chill with a cup of hot cocoa at South Lake Tahoe's Winter Wonderland retreat. This house provides all the modern comforts of home with rustic touches and exposed wooden beams. You'll be wowed by the wall of floor-to-ceiling windows and its forest views. The open layout is perfect for a family bonding trip, with the main living area featuring a wood stove for cozying up at the end of a long day. The well-equipped kitchen has all the necessities and then some. Make use of the bonus kitchen gadgets like a waffle iron, electric kettle, and French press to do breakfast up right! Climb the floating staircase to a loft space that will make the perfect kids' clubhouse. This upstairs bonus room has an additional sleep space, half bath, flat-screen TV, and even a computer desk for your remote school or work needs. The nearest slopes are less than ten miles away, and you can soak in the luxurious hot tub after a fun day on the slopes. And, when the weather warms up, you're even closer to the lake and all of its water sports opportunities. Spring and summer are also the ideal time to take advantage of this home's private furnished deck and gas grill, just waiting to host your next family barbecue.



THINGS TO KNOW

There is a queen air mattress in the loft.

Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may experience these animals in or near your home.

The hot tub is serviced between each guest reservation. (The filter is removed, treated and cleaned, vacuum any debris, use net to clear larger debris, chemicals balanced, etc.)

Free high-speed WiFi (Due to Lake Tahoe being a mountain town, internet speed can ebb and flow with the local population.)



*Warning - Please watch your step, as the stairs get icy, and watch for falling icicles

*Guests must provide their own wood for the wood stove

*Streaming services are available with guests' own accounts

The entrance to this home is located below street level. Guests must be comfortable traveling 15 steps to access the home.

Coin laundry is available within a 4.5 mile drive.

Wonderful property, close to all amenities - ski areas, hiking trails, lakes, etc. Enjoyed the hot tub. Very comfortable, would like to stay here again sometime soon.

Perfect Getaway

We absolutely loved staying here for a Thanksgiving getaway. The place was very clean and cozy. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub. We'll for sure stay here again in the future.

Perfect Cozy Cabin

We traveled this past weekend, March 29. Cabin was great, had the wood burning stove cranking! Hot tub was great. We had a good amount of snow, made for a perfect retreat!

Great Vacation Getaway

It was the perfect cabin for our little getaway vacation. The cabin was spotless! (I really appreciated the cleanliness: glasswares, counters, microwave, fridge, floors.....). The jacuzzi was the cherry on top. It has the best spot for star gazing.

Great place

This cabin was perfect for our family stay at Lake Tahoe. We stayed 4 days/3 nights at this cabin and loved it. The kitchen had everything we needed. The grill worked perfectly. And the hot tub with a beautiful view of the stars was perfect. It was really a great place and we would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Perfect for a Retreat

We booked for a 3 day, 2 night retreat for 3 people and it was exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen was well stocked, the property clean and just like the pictures. The town is right up the road and close by for anything that you might need. Once in, we hunkered down with the wood burning stove and watched it snow with movies. It was perfect!

Perfect getaway

This cabin is the PERFECT Tahoe escape. Just outside of town, it feels very private yet just a few minutes from everything we needed in town. It was super comfortable, quiet, and restorative. Surrounded by beautiful trees, it was amazing to just relax in the living room, on the porch, in the hammock, or in the hot tub. It’s everything we could have wanted and more. Cannot wait to return!

Great spot. Close to everything. The house needs more towels. There appears to be a small extension that will be built when the weather breaks. Hopefully they squeeze in a washer / dryer.

Cute, clean, relaxing, cozy cabin with enlightening windows and fun loft!

This cabin provided a wonderful, uplifting place to stay for my South Lake Tahoe getaway. The place was very clean, which instantly put my mind at ease. The A-frame windows provided an amazing backdrop/foreground/centerpiece for my stay. The cabin is actually as cute as the pictures make it out to be! I also appreciated the full kitchen and general cuteness of the cabin. The location was nice and quiet and a good base for our South Lake Tahoe experience.

Cozy Cabin with all the Amenities!

Super cozy place with every thing you need to bake like a master chef. There was enough space for our group of 5. I never felt cramped. There are some great hiking trails nearby as well. Something to keep in mind is that the loft can get really hot in the day time but the downstairs still is always a nice cool temp.

Isolated Bliss

This little cabin was the most perfect getaway. Located in the middle of the trees but not too far from store/town (about 10 mins). It was very clean, cozy, and peaceful. Nice and quiet. Our evenings were spent sipping wine in the hot tub. Short drive to Lake Tahoe , breath taking scenery. Will recommend this place over and over again. Thank you .

Cozy cabin heaven

This was an amazing lil cabin big enough for my family if 5. The outside was well maintained including a beautiful deck with a private hot tub. The inside was updated and very clean. It had all the amenities including extra linens, kitchen supplies and even an air firer. The first place was perfect on the cold nights and the kids loved the surround sound system. It’s very secluded ave private, but only a 15 minute drive to town. We will definitely be booking this place again for the summer and winter months.

peaceful family stay

We had the best time making memories with our two young children here. The house had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and we loved hanging out on the deck. The trees surrounding the hot tub were so peaceful, such a surreal moment looking out the kitchen window seeing my daughter and husband relaxing for hours under the trees in there. One side of the house has no neighbors so it feels very quiet but not in a scary way. The whole neighborhood is very nice and close to many attractions. Would definitely stay again. Thank you :)

Pleasant stay but bring coffee filters!

Pros-Hot tub, location, comfy beds downstairs, comfortable for three people, communication with management company was easy. Cons-Coffee filters not provided (what?!?!?), no placemats/tablecloth, no cupboard space to store food, dishwasher doesn't work great leaving residue on dishes, twin bed upstairs very uncomfortable, service fee ridiculously high.Overall-Would definitely stay again but be better prepared for my morning coffee. The ease of getting to the ski resorts and the Y, as well as the fabulous hot tub to soak in after a day of skiing, override the small annoyances.

Icy cold cabin in a snow storm

It is a beautiful cabin. But it was icy cold as we arrived in a snow storm and the heating was not on. We turned on the heating unit full blast and the cabin did not warm up until the 2nd day. Not Cozy at all during cold days and nights...

Basic cabin good location

it was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked, except no salt or pepper or any basic condiments which we found strange. The sheets and towels are washed with a heavily scented detergent. Those sensitivity should bring their own. They are remodeling the cabin, but didn’t tell us before we went — there’s lots of disarray around it, but the interior is fine.

Property did not meet our expectation

The pictures are very flattering. The property is not as modern and bright. The property could have been cleaner. The dishwasher had a dark residue. It looked very dirty. We did not use it. We washed our own dishes. The property is undergoing renovations. The company should disclose it. The property has a good layout.
