Create spectacular vacation memories at this cabin located in the desirable resort community of Tahoe Donner! This home is bright and sunny, with top-floor living space on a quiet street. Relax and unwind on the balconies that look out onto the pine trees in front and in back of the property. Enjoy ample living room space on both levels, a recreation room with a pool table and a second TV, and a full kitchen that's well equipped for the chef in the group to prepare meals to enjoy at the dining table or breakfast bar. Entertain and barbecue on the front deck in the summer months while catching up on stories of the day's adventures!



What's nearby:

This cabin is located in the heart of Tahoe Donner, which means fun and adventure all year round. Right in the neighborhood, you'll find the Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Center, the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort, and pools, hot tubs, and a gym at the Trout Creek Recreation Center (day use fees apply). You'll also have access to the Tahoe Donner Beach Club Marina on Donner Lake five miles south. When the group gets hungry, The Lodge, Alder Creek Cafe, and Pizza on the Hill are sure to please everyone.



TAHOE DONNER GUEST PASSES: The Tahoe Donner HOA has announced updates to their Guest Pass Policy, effective February 1st.



This home provides six guest passes (one pass per person aged 3 and older), granting access to all Tahoe Donner amenities. A daily fee of $24 per person applies for amenity usage.



Please note: Any reservations that fail to return the guest passes will incur a $250 replacement fee.

GOLF: Bring your guest passes to the Tahoe Donner Golf Course to receive discounts (when available).

PLEASE NOTE: Per HOA regulations, all exterior lights must be turned off at 10 PM. If not, a fine will be assessed. Thanks!

Great property. Well maintained and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals. The only disappointing aspect was the 24 dollar a day per person cost to use the hot tub and pool.

Snowmobile trip to find the best snow

On our hunt for the best snow we ended up at this beautiful house. Much better than staying in a hotel and about the same price.

This is a beautiful cabin. You will enjoy its spacious floor plan with its perfect layout. Our family enjoyed the amenities and the comfort of the home. The Vacasa staff was responsive and readily available. If you are considering this home for you vacation, you will not regret the decision.

Senior golfers

Property was very comfortable for 4 men. Mostly clean except for stained rugs and entry steps area (seemed to be covered with fine dirt). Outside deck was in very poor shape and railing seemed dangerous so we did not use.

Experience

The home is in a great location and easy to get to. I do not have a 4x4 vehicle so it struggled to get my car up that drive with all the snow and ice. The cabin was clean but the "clean" dishes were not clean at all, they had tons of dried up food stuck to them. The kitchen needs new cooking ware. There is a neighborhood dog that left us a present in the driveway. Overall it was good, just needs attention to minor details.

Not a review but more of a communication to the homeowner, both garage doors make a very loud crack / popping sound when each panel pivots going up or down. Seemed to stop after a few times but is very loud. Also the pilot light was out on the gas stove but we were able to get it lit and we're able to use the fireplace. Otherwise house was great and perfect for our annual get together. Thank you.

Perfect snow adventure for our family!

This house was perfect for our little snow getaway. We had plenty of room for our extended family of 8. The house was clean and comfortable. The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 on cleanliness is a few in our party found cobwebs in the kitchen and living room area. The bed in the master was a little firm but thatā€™s just my personal opinion. I got used to it. We were a little disappointed that our upstairs fireplace didnā€™t work but it did not detract from our enjoyment for the week. The driveway was a little hard to get up at times for my van but I also didnā€™t have snow tires or chains. We made it work though. My kids loved the pool table and the fact it converted to a air hockey table was an added bonus. I was equally surprised that thereā€™s was a crock pot because it was not listed and Iā€™d planned on bringing mine but forgot it. Overall this house was perfect for our family and we would absolutely stay here again.

Livable but not desirable

Decent size space and layout for two families, included just the basic necessities. Unfortunately, the carpets throughout the home were filthy, with large dark spots everywhere. There was also a large leak under the kitchen sink that resulted in water getting everywhere in the kitchen and made doing dishes very challenging. There was a large basin and bowl under the sink which made us think that this was not a new issue (and in reviewing older reviews, it is clearly not). This house should not be rented again until this is actually repaired. Would also note that the house prohibits outdoor snow play anywhere on the property. So you canā€™t even send your kids outside to make a snowman, which is just so odd and makes no sense for families with kids. Would not rent again.

decent house, good for kids, needs some updating

overall the house was good. The main problems were 1) leaks under the sink for both garbage disposal and main pipes. There were bowls of slimy, smelly water under the sink to catch the leaks. which were a flood if you used the garbage disposal, which we found out after flooding the cabinet. Clearly this was a known problem and hadn't been fixed. We called and someone came out the next day and tried to fix it. It wasn't very successful, but we managed ok after that. 2) internet went down for about a day. Vacasa got someone out right away, but it was an issue with the provider and not much they could do. It came back the next day. 3) upstairs gas fireplace didn't work. Pilot was out. They fixed it, but then we realized the fireplace wouldn't turn off, so we shut off the gas, which is almost certainly what someone else had done and why the pilot light was out. House is decently stocked for cooking and eating. Overall the house is nice with big, large bathrooms. It works great with kids, as the downstairs has a bunk room with large bathroom, TV lounge and a pool table that can flip over to become an air hockey table! This was awesome and by far the best feature of the house. We played a lot of air hockey. The upstairs living room needs a few more pieces of furniture. Only room for ~4 people to sit on the 2 small couches. I think we'd go back, if the repairs were made. Also, if you plan on doing any cooking, bring your own knives or a knife sharpener. This is common to nearly all rental houses. The knives are so dull they are literally useless. My husband said it was like trying to cut something with a ruler.

Great for friends group;

This property was great; nice and clean and the use of the garage was a huge plus! As a group we found the space perfect! Property management was very east to contact for any questions we had during our stay. We would love to return.
