Relaxing Getaway with Great Sunroom

We had a lovely and restful stay at this home. It was a last-minute booking for us due to a wildfire evacuation, and we were so grateful to find a peaceful, spacious place to land. The sunroom upstairs was a highlight—such a peaceful spot to read and unwind. The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to cook in, which we really appreciated. A few small details could be improved for future guests, such as the noticeable cobwebs and some clarification around the coffee setup (one machine required K-cups, and the other was missing filters and a carafe). That said, the beds were comfortable, the house was welcoming, and we truly enjoyed our time here. Thank you for sharing your space!

Lovely Home

We came from Florida to be with our niece who was having a baby. Large Family of 6 and the house fit us all comfortably and gave our teens extra space by having the upstairs to themselves for movies and gaming. The vaulted ceilings do carry noise but we just went to the local ace store and bought a fan and that helped to drown out excess noise perfectly. Had all the comforts of home to include a crockpot which made it very comvenient for us to have dinners in rather than consistently eating out saving us time and money. I would 💯 recommended this home to others.

Clean & Comfy, but has issues

The house is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. It fit my family of 7 well. BUT, there are definitely a few things future renters should know. The listing details state “no WIFI” which is true. This ALSO means you cannot use your own hotspot, or even get cell service. We have Verizon on some phones, and T-Mobile on others. None had any service. This made it impossible to call, message, text, or email management with needs or issues during our stay. There is also no cable, so the use of tv’s ONLY means to watch their DVD’s. No smart tv’s. The DVD collection is less than desirable, in my opinion. There were some older Disney movies, but the majority of the dvd collection consists of Carol Burnett shows, Gilligans island series, Castle tv show series, and older movies. While we got out of the house a lot to enjoy the area, we still needed downtime in the home for our disabled children to have medical treatments that take hours. Basically, we had to rent multiple movies from the grocery store kiosk to watch anything on the tv’s. The master bath is not very large to sit in, and it does not plug at all. So don’t expect to enjoy a nice bath there. In fact, the hot water only lasts less than 2 minutes, and takes 20 minutes to heat more. We checked the water heater and it could not be turned up. With 7 people, this absolutely caused issues. All 3 toilets (upstairs & downstairs) in the home backed up several times and we personally had to unclog them several times since we couldn’t call for help. We encountered ants daily in the master bedroom and the kitchen. We did not leave food out so it was frustrating to cook where ants showed up every time. I could not find a trail to even treat them. My son is extremely allergic to ants, so we had to be extra careful, clean, and aware. Another issue, the power goes out in the kitchen if you use the microwave over the stove. There IS a second one on the counter, but there was nothing noted about this. Luckily, we figured that out a couple days in and found the power switch. Lastly, my spouse accidentally left his CPap machine in the home. We called Vacasa on our trip home to see if they could check for it, and we were told there is a $25 fee JUST TO look for it. The rep I spoke to told me he would waive the fee and give us a credit of $100 since we had other issues, but he did not send me a confirmation or a notification if it’s been found (as he promised he would). Nor did I get a credit.

We do have a note placed on the microwave asking guests not to use it in order to keep the power on. The bath plug will be addressed. We hope to see you again!

Quiet comfortable home

The four of us enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. It was clean comfortable and roomy. The beds were awesome. This is a great location to enjoy the coast. The only reasons I didn’t give it 5 stars were that we were unable to get all of the TVs to work (possibly dead remotes?) and the worst BBQ I have ever seen. The BBQ was so rusted that the bottom was completely gone. We arrived with 4 juicy steaks to BBQ and were unable to grill them. Vacasa kept promising to help but nothing ever happened. I am still hopeing we are at least compensated for the cost of our steaks, as we stayed there 6 nights with no resolve of the BBQ.

Had an amazing stay. Everything was above expectations. Most of the reviews said there was no heater or hot water to shower and there was definitely heaters throughout the whole house, stayed warm!! There IS WIFI! Plenty of Tvs so you can take an xbox and hook it up!! Verity of games to play! Over all had such an amazing time and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have fun with friends for a weekend!!

Great stay

LOVED the house ! It was so spacious, had literally anything we could possibly need. Lots of towels and extra blankets! Very comfortable beds. The decor is so adorable and homey feeling. Grocery store is about 5 minutes away, beaches are close. The only negatives about the house is the unsafe windows in the sunroom overlooking the golf course. The plastic windows aren’t sturdy, very unsafe for the little kids we had, so we just kept them out of that room, windows are missing screens or had large holes. House didn’t seem to have AC so the window/screen issue was pretty unfortunate. Neighboring home had a very yappy dog. There’s a sign on the fridge asking to remove all trash, no biggie, however there’s a latch on top of the garbage can that was difficult to figure out, also a very small can that already had trash in it. There isn’t WiFi or cable service, they do provide plenty of dvds. The guys was still cleaning when we showed up to check in at 4. We had to wait outside for about 20 minutes for him to finish. Overall, the negatives cannot outweigh the positives of this beautiful home !

Wonderful stay!

The house was very clean, beautiful, well maintained, and a great size! It doesn’t look big from the front but there is plenty of space inside! Great areas for adults and kids. We appreciated being able to use the barbecue and back patio. Close drive to the beach! Would definitely stay here again!

Spacious, good beds, laundry, and kitchen.

No wifi or TV. Heater in kitchen did not work and no response from rep. Master shower needs repair. Neighbors very sketchy and noisy. White couches begging for abuse.
