Cupid’s Nest is a wonderful Edisto Beach home that tastefully blends modern updates with the charm of yesteryear, providing a lovely refuge from how hectic life can be. Whether you're seeking a simple getaway or a family vacation, this home is just right for all of your needs.



Beautiful hardwood floors, Corian countertops, and remodeled bathrooms will make you feel right at home. Free WiFi and cable access will keep each guest entertained if a brief afternoon shower interrupts your sunny day on the beach. Meanwhile, everything that Edisto has to offer is at your fingertips. Restaurants and shops are three blocks away, and the beach is a one-minute stroll down quiet Cupid Street. Bring or rent bicycles for an incredible way to explore your surroundings and get acquainted with island life. But if you're planning to stay put, the screened porch is the ultimate shady spot to enjoy a book, a cold beverage, or a card game with friends. A small tidal creek runs along the side of the property and can be viewed from one of the two sun decks. Restful Edisto traditions begin here!

Fantastic location

We loved the location and the setup of the house, with four bedrooms! Truly, a perfect location! Considering this house can sleep 10 people, more plates and silverware are needed. A hand mixer would have been nice in the kitchen.

Cupid's Nest Stay

Property was in a great location! We were there for a long weekend and it was perfect for us. The outside areas needed to be cleaned a bit more but the inside was fine.

Great Vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at Cupid’s nest. It was very clean and neat. We loved rocking in the chairs on the porch in the mornings and afternoons. It was a very short walk to the beach, which was perfect. We would love to stay in this house again.

Cupid’s nest was perfect

This property was perfect for our stay! The split bedroom set up gives the perfect amount of privacy for two families traveling together. The shared spaces are also big enough for everyone to gather. We had four adults and 3 children and it really was a prefect space. It’s also close to the beach and not far from shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!!

Spring Break Edisto

We had a great time. The home was just as expected. Beds were comfortable. Perfect location with a short walk to the beach. The only issue we encountered was the kitchen pots, pans, and cooking utensils needs updated. They were all very old. But overall I would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay Cupid’s Nest 💘. The house needed a thorough cleaning, including windows! A lot of the pots and pans were mismatched, and not in good condition and needed to be replaced, along with the plastic wine and water glasses!

Satisfactory - Needs upgrades

Overall, I would say the beach house was satisfactory. It was nice but definitely needs upgrades and a deep cleaning. We cooked alot during our stay but the pots, pans and cookware are very outdated. The coffee maker didn't work properly so we had to purchase one to use while we were there. We had to place tape over a wire sticking out of the couch after it cut two people. The bed was held up by 2x4's that we stomped our toes on. It was very dusty on the ceilings and under furniture. However, it is very close to the beach and shops.

Had you informed us during your stay, we would have promptly sent a new coffee machine and arranged for a cleaner to address the dust and other cleanliness concerns. We could have also provided maintenance to fix the wire in the couch and addressed the bed issue. We will discuss these matters with the homeowner to ensure that the cookware is updated, and necessary repairs are made to the furniture. Great House - Close to Beach

This rental was almost perfect! Plenty of room, minute walk to the beach, easy check-in/check-out procedure, super useful outdoor shower, plenty of parking, and the comfiest couch ever! One complaint were the dishes in the kitchen and the toaster. There was only one cooking skillet and it wasn't great. The utensils and knives left a lot to be desired. The toaster did not pop up on its own, you had to sit and watch it. Our family consisted of three couples, a four-year old, two-year old and a ten-week old. The two older kids LOVED the bunkbeds and having their own little TV. The adult beds were comfortable enough, but didn't seem as big as most queen-sized beds. This may be because we're used to our king bed and my husband is 6'5" tall. We'd definitely stay again!

Great for a small group

There were seven of us in the house. One couple, three individual adults and two kids ages 11 and 13. There was basically enough room for all. Walking distance to the beach. House was nicely furnished.

Great Location - updates needed to house

This house is located in a great location. It is very close to the beach and the stores. We rented a gold cart and rarely used our vehicle on the island. The kids loved riding their bikes all around the island with easy access to Jungle Road. The house was very clean on arrival. Only issues were the appliances in this house needed updating. Upon arrival our dishwasher and icemaker did not work. I would have liked being told this upon check-in versus waiting for our complaint to correct. Icemaker is not hooked up to water valve. Microwave over stove was taped shut but another microwave on the counter. Drain was also VERY slow in bathroom. Bunk bed in kids room were very unsteady. Vacasa was very quick to correct issue with dishwasher by installing new one within a couple days, and provided 2 bags of ice for 2 weeks.

Great girl's weekend!!

Four of us went to Edisto to spend a 4 day weekend. It was great, the house had everything we needed. We each had a bedroom to ourselves and shared the two bathrooms. Close to the beach and restaurants. We were also able to go to Charleston for a day trip.

Home was nice, and we liked the close walk to the beach. We had a number of issues with appliances, but generally they were fixed fairly promptly.
