This property is in a perfect location with great amenities. It was clean, well provisioned and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful home, prime beachfront location, and semi-private pool. 6 adults and 4 kiddos had a fantastic stay. Price was great, especially for us booking last minute. The host was also accommdating for a late checkout at the last minute after we experienced a family situation causing difficulty leaving in a timely manner. The elevator for belongings is so helpful. The extras were much appreciated- beach towels, chairs, sand toys, and pool floats. We also really appreciated the recommendations provided to improve our stay.

Beautiful home! Great flexibility with room layouts and kitchen amenities were great. Wonderful views! Had a few things we needed assistance throughout our stay and the property manager was responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful week at Kure Surf Shack !! The home is beautiful and has a great location. One of our favorite area's was the deck with the pool access especially since our stay was during hurricane Erin's passing by. The pool kept the kids happy and was great for the adults as well. We were lucky to have family in the "other" side of the rental so it was one big happy family.

Great house for family

We had a wonderful stay at thus rental. House was very clean and well stocked with all necessary essentials. Elevator was blessing amoving luggage

While the weather wasn't the best - not surprising because it was a typical February weekend in NC - the house was perfect for our group of 4 couples. Plenty of room to hang out together inside on the comfy couches & chairs in the living room & around large dining table. Sun even peeked out for a bit in the mornings so we could enjoy coffee on the deck & watch the sun rise & the waves roll in. House was very clean & beds comfortable. Chalkboard full of restaurant recs & welcome basket with KB Surf Shack custom coozies (to keep), coffee supplies & paper goods were a nice touch. Owners are in the process of a kitchen renovation but staged the work so the kitchen would be fully operational during our stay (if they hadn't told us we would have never been the wiser). Property management was quick to respond to questions before and during our stay and even brought over a space heater to give the lower level room a little more warmth since it was so dreary outside. Would definitely stay here again - maybe next time weather will be let us enjoy the beach & pool too.

Beautiful house and location but mixed review on management

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Let's start with pros! House is beautiful, well stocked with cups, dishes, cookware. Location is hard to beat and was wonderful for our family reunion. Negatives however were plenty. 1. Pool towels were not set out in the basket but left in the closets of various rooms. Additionally, for a house that says it holds 14, there were fewer towels than needed. Seems bizarre to be so stingy on towels.2. The freezer leaks and has been leaking for a while (hence the damaged wood). 3. Two fire alarms went off due to batteries needing to be replaced. 4. A/C being replaced during our stay made the last day of our trip underwhelming. A/C repair started at 7:58 AM and between the noise, workers moving through the house, heat and smell, the entire third floor wasn't accessible from 8-12pm. 5. Management company did not provide great communication. I had to reach out twice to ask for the access code before it was emailed over. Then there was the multiple emails over several days during my stay, plus calls with management about the A/C repair dates changing. Finally, I had to call them to ask about check-out items cause nothing was mentioned in the book or sent to me. That is a lot of back and forth put on me, when my goal is just to relax and enjoy the vacation. Generally speaking, I would avoid working with them again after this experience.
