The Space:
Nestled at the edge of the Redwood forest with a view of the ocean through the trees, you'll enjoy a peaceful rest in the heart of The Sea Ranch. The home has kept its character intact, with original redwood finishes and efficient cabin layout. Spend your morning sipping coffee, gazing at the blue-water ocean view and listening to the forest come alive. Start with an early morning hot tub or breakfast on the deck. Cabin 55 features a full kitchen with a dishwasher and outdoor propane grill custom outfitted for those who love to cook. The hot tub on the deck is made for two. This is the perfect place for a couple to kick back and enjoy all that The Sea Ranch, the coastal mountains and the Northern California coast have to offer. The Walk-In Cabin neighborhood is so quiet and private it only takes moments to realize all you can hear is the ocean, the wind in the redwoods, songbirds and an occasional turkey.
The Walk-In Cabins sit close to hiking trails, the Ohlsen Recreation Center, Stengel Beach, and The Sea Ranch Golf Links, but are private and serenely scattered in the Redwoods. Truly the epitome of āLiving with the Land'. More outdoor and cultural activities can be found south and north of The Sea Ranch along the coast, such as the Arena Theater, the B Bryan Wildlife Preserve, Fort Ross State Historic Park, and Point Arena Light House. Gualala offers groceries, art galleries, and restaurants. With over Sea Ranch's 50 miles of trails, guests can hike deep into the redwoods, out along the bluff overlooking the ocean, or picnic at the hot spot on the Gualala River. Enjoy a round of golf at the Scottish style, 18-hole course, or a tennis match at one of six courts. For families with children, the Childrenās Environmental Play Park offers a wide range of activities. With access to all three shared recreation centers, you can relax in the pools, use the saunas, play basketball, pickleball or volleyball. Guests with a dog will want to check out the dog park on Deerfield Rd. It has a large fenced-in area covered in wood chips, with plenty of toys, water, and shade to share a wild run and romp! Mind the 6ā leash law elsewhere on the Ranch. Youāre sure to meet many friendly local dog owners.
