The hot tub goes into economy mode every so often and then the temp goes down, and we didn't figure that our for a few days, so we didn't always get to soak when we wanted to. Appreciate the pet-friendly flooring. Kitchen ware was pretty minimal. Could use an ottoman for the couch. Otherwise, very cozy and nice place to relax with our pets. Enclosed yard would be nice, or a gate on the stairs off the deck to keep dogs in.

We had a nice stay at this house. Property was very clean and kitchen was very well stocked. Nice neighborhood location and the deck was lovely to hang out on. The clothes dryer unfortunately was not working so was problematic to dry all our wet clothes and towels which was disappointing. The master bathroom pocket door keeps coming off its track and could use some repair. The bathrooms are nicely updated. Could have used more than one towel per person as we only had one each for showers and hot tub and we didn’t realize the rec pool didn’t supply towels either. Overall a lovely stay but could use a little maintenance and more sets of towels.

Great Value

A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a very quiet neighborhood. I particularly loved being able to see the starry night sky and early-morning wildlife while lying in bed. Very well equipped kitchen with a filtered-water tap and abundant supplies of everything (except light bulbs). Put a Sea Ranch visitor pass on your dash and take Vantage Rd for easy coastal trail access. Only 4 miles to Gualala restaurants, groceries, and kayaking.

Gorgeous home with such an innovative architectural design that makes the most of the space. Really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, the ocean views and proximity to both Bodega Bay and Mendocino. Perfect home for us, had a lovely time

Wonderful stay!

Nice, quiet quintessential Sea Ranch home with lovely view and huge hot tub. Lots of room to spread out. Convenient location near Shell Beach and trails. Super friendly and responsive host. The house had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed dining on the deck with expansive views and sitting in the hot tub under the stars. We hope to stay again in the future! Thank you to Marisa for her responsiveness and kindness.

Fantastic all around!

This was such a wonderful little get-away! The house is wonderful... clean, accessible, easy to find, private etc! It's 6 minutes away from town and about 3 minutes from the beach access location. If you want, you can take a walk to the Sea Ranch Chapel or drive there in 2 minutes. The hot tub was perfect. If you are looking for a place to relax and put away the stressors of every day life, this is your place!

Lovely Home

Clean and comfortable with everything we needed... the perfect stay for the four of us. We also enjoyed seeing the deers, rabbits, and turkeys around the house. We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

Romantic getaway

This is the second year in a row we have stayed here for my birthday weekend. We love the sunny deck with beautiful ocean views, the long hiking trail along the coast, the beautiful bathtub in the master suite, and the hot tub under the stars. Pure bliss.

Peaceful and scenic retreat

We booked this property for a mini writing retreat and it was the perfect atmosphere! It has gorgeous views of the water and forest from most parts of the house. The kitchen is well-appointed for cooking and we really loved looking at the stars with a glass of wine from the the hot tubs.the walk to shell beach is lovely. We would definitely come back!

Sea Ranch getaway

House was extremely well equipped, hot tub was in excellent working order. Great views from the patio and very close to coastal hiking trails. Saw lots of wildlife (deer, turkeys, gray fox) and marine life (whales and sea lions), and really enjoyed the deer and turkeys in our front yard every morning. The only negative was window screens that were non-existent or in need of repair, overall it was a great experience and would recommend.

Beautiful Panoramic Ocean View

This home was very well equipped with all the necessities and more. Everything was very well organized. We were there during warm coastal weather and because there is not a screen on the slider door made it difficult to leave the door open for cross ventilation fearing our dog might run out if we didn’t have a leash on her. In the late afternoon & evening we enjoyed the fresh air once we had some shade. All in all we enjoyed our tranquil stay very much and appreciate how well the owners have shared their lovely vacation home. This was our seventh year with our dog at Sea Ranch. Love it.

We are a family of four with two kids aged 7 and 10. We have fallen in love with the Sea Ranch and all of its beauty. We love to travel and explore new places. At the Sea Ranch we have found that there are so many places to see, it's like a new experience every time we come! It was a dream of ours to be able to have a second home and we feel so lucky to have found such a beautiful place and are excited to share it with others!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We were really hoping to find a place with a beautiful view and we did! Our favorite things about this house are that it gets so much light on the sunny hill, yet behind us there are plenty of trees full of wildlife. Sitting on the deck and enjoying the blue waves is amazing.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We were pleasantly surprised by all the wildlife we see daily. There are many turkeys, hares, deer, quail, and so many birds. We have also been lucky enough to spot foxes and a bobcat. It’s lovely
to have a spot with a forest in the back yard and a beautiful open meadow ocean view in the front.
