Rich with history and full of fun, this Orange, lake retreat is the perfect place to put down your roots on your next family vacation. Lake life can be enjoyed every day right from the comfort of your stay as you swim, fish off the private dock, and gather by the firepit come nightfall.

Inside your retreat, discover ample living quarters and efficient amenities. The main living area features a sprawling sofa, perfect for your family to gather on as they tune into a movie marathon on the adjacent large TV. And the kitchen boasts a dishwasher, a breakfast bar, and ample counter space. When meals are ready to be enjoyed, dine with a view on the scenic deck, or for more formal meals, at the dining room table. When you want to escalate your cooking and try something new, a gas grill awaits your use on the backyard patio.

When exploring the rest of the house you'll find five bright bedrooms with cool temperatures, thanks to the home's central air-conditioning, and many other great perks such as a basement lounge. In the lounge, your family will love to gather for games of pool, late-night snacks from the kitchenette, and board game competitions. For your absolute convenience, be sure to utilize the home's private washer/dryer.

What a spacious clean and beautiful lake house. We are 7 guys that grew up together, live around the east coast and are lucky enough to get together once or twice a year. This house suited us perfectly. Plenty of room for everyone. The fire pit was great, launching kayaks was easy. Well equipped kitchen and a large clean grill. Hoping to come back next year.

This was a great property to stay in for a weekend trip when we participated in triathlons in the area. The house is very comfy and easily fit our group. The amenities are in very good shape. I would gladly book this property again when traveling to Lake Anna.

Great stay

Good value house for big group on the water. We loved that they had kayaks and a canoe that we could use. The view was great from the deck and we loved the fire pit.

Better than expected

We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the house! The pictures don’t do it justice. We were there during a very hot week and spent most of our time indoors. The house was perfect for our group, plenty of spaces for everyone.

Great stay!

Pictures don’t do this place justice! The cove is a nice retreat from the typical weekend traffic on the lake. House was perfect for our family. Only recommendation to renters (just because we forgot this!) is to bring chairs for sitting on the dock during the day. Would absolutely stay here again 😀

Lovely time at Cookie's Casa

We had a wonderful week at Cookie's Casa! Our family and friends really enjoyed the house and property. The dock was so peaceful and the views of the lake from the house were fantastic. Our boys really enjoyed the pool table / family room downstairs. Wifi was excellent. We look forward to our next stay!

Family fun at Lake Anna

The house is large, with plenty of room everyone. The basement fridge is a nice plus for overflow. Beds were comfortable. Each bathroom had shampoo/conditioner/body wash supplied which was an added bonus. Bring fire wood for the fire pit and towels for the lake ( home only comes with bath towels). Quiet section of the lake with little boat activity; great for fishing off the dock.

Bach Weekend

We had a great time at the house. It was very clean, had a fire pit, grill, and dock to sit on. The management was very responsive, we had issues getting in the first day and called the management team and they were able to assist us immediately. The space is very comfortable with big cozy couches and a massive kitchen. 10/10

Great Family Trip

The house exceeded expectations! Plenty of space for all. The island in the kitchen was huge and a great spot for meals and hanging out. We used the dining room for daily games. The three separate “family room” areas made sure every one had a space. We stayed during a very hot week, upper 90s each day, so swimming in the already warm waters was reserved for mornings only. The water at this location is very calm, shallow, and perfect for paddle boarding and kayaking. Views of the lake are great and lots of cat fish were caught!

Great house!

We loved our stay at Cookies Casa. Very clean and spacious home, perfect for large families with kids. It was really nice to have the kayaks and canoe to use. The only recommendation we have is maybe some lighting on the walkway down to the water and dock lights for those who want to fish at night. Overall the house was perfect for us and we had a wonderful time! It had everything we need for a comfortable stay.

Great Lake vacation.

The house was very nice. The only thing we needed during our stay was the outside trash bins emptied and the team came within a few hours. The water was 88-90 degrees. Our only dislike was the lake water was too warm. It was 88-90 degrees. Our family had fun kayaking, fishing and swimming off the dock. Our dog loved dock diving! We also rented a boat and went tubing one day. It was a Great Lake vacation.

Cookie Casa - What a Treat

Our family had a wonderful time at this slightly older lake front home. Amenities were good - had everything we needed. Loved that it had 2 full sized refrigerators so that we had one for drinks and one for food. Proximity to stores was great. Having the lower level rec room was perfect as well. Anything that was not provided - we did not really need anyway. Would be happy to rent again for another summer vacation -

Weekend Trip

Plenty of space and rooms. Only some minor fixes needed, wifi is pretty weak and dock is surrounded by reeds on both sides with VERY shallow water, trash under island was broken but did not put a damper on time because of another trash can available. Still had a great time though !

Love this clean house

We really enjoyed this clean and comfortable house and left this as clean as this was.Only the cabinets with cook pots/containers/pans etc were unorganized. Most of them are damaged/scratches or with not matching covers which need to be trashed and replaced. Most of them seem useless- there were too many of them.Otherwise everything was perfect and enjoyed this house.Thanks!

Worst rental yet!!! Even worse management company!

Well this was the worst rental we have ever stayed at. The check in was typical, send you a code for the door. Upon arrival the outside of the property appearance was overgrown. The initial impression when we walked in the door was that the inside was ok. Then we started to walk around and the more we looked the worst the place got. The kitchen equipment is a mess, just about every plate is chipped, all but one pot is spalling toxic non stick material. The TV console had dust that you could write in. Then we walked out back. Grass and bushes were overgrown, the dock is falling apart, mold and grime on all outdoor seating. Trash and junk piled up in corner. Kayak had a hole in the bottom. No PFD available. We complained about the cleanliness and lack of maintenance among other things from the moment got here and the response from Vacasa was horrible. This place is overpriced and under maintained. I requested a manager to come out and walk this property down from the beginning but no one showed. We only get a chance to get our family together every couple of years for a reunion and this place was a disappointment! Not the beautiful lake experience we envisioned. Even the cleaner they sent out left behind rags and cleaning spray and dirt all over the walkway. The sliding glass doors do not look like they have been wiped down in years. Piles of bugs in doors and window sills. Horrible management and outside has not been cleaned in years!! Keep looking!!

Not the nicest for the price

1. Location: lovely view, inaccessible lake 2. House: adequate 3. Condition of house: poor 4. Management company: poor We were so looking forward to being together as a family and enjoying early fall on the lake. A couple of days beforehand we learned of a toxic algal bloom on the lake. The management company did not inform us of this prior to our stay and the “local manager” did not contact us when we asked for additional information. We decided to go anyway and give it a chance. The algal bloom did not affect the view. But, we could not fully enjoy the property as that section of the lake was closed. The house was adequate. Enough furnished rooms, bathrooms, and parking to accommodate our needs. However, the accommodations were not overly comfortable. They provided 1 set of thin, scratchy towels per bed; stained, scented bed linens; and 1 extra blanket. The overall condition of the house was lacking. Several pieces of indoor (dining room chairs, chests of drawers, vanity, shades, windows) and outdoor furniture (umbrella, couches) were broken or appeared broken. The kitchen was unorganized and we found dirty plates, glasses, pots, and pans in the cabinets. The bathroom tile was dirty. There was a hole in the stairwell. The comfort of our stay was further reduced by general inconveniences. The coffee pot didn’t work properly. We had to go out and buy paper towels, toliet paper, dishwasher soap, and garbage bags because an inadequate supply was provided.

Algae blooms can appear suddenly making it difficult to inform guests in advance and we refer our guests who are inquiring to the local civic association website to keep up with the latest details. We regret that the partial closure of the lake kept you from fully enjoying the property. Additionally, we are sorry for any areas of the home you found to need some TLC and our local manager assured us that a deep clean is scheduled and they will check out the stairwell and replace the coffee maker. We hope you will allow us the chance to provide you with a truly exceptional vacation experience in the future.
