Blessed vacation ever. All the kids are enjoyed every minute they are here. We blast with the jet ski . Highly recommend. We will definitely coming back next year.

Would definitely stay at this house again if we come back to Lake Anna, the location is great! Close to stores, restaurants & gas stations! Steve was an amazing host, very communicative! The property manager Jenn was so friendly! We rented the owners boat for two days & it was nice to be able to have that option! The boat house/dock was awesome! We hung out down there almost every night. Overall amazing week!

The hosts responded quickly each and every time, and also reached out to just check in. The house has a few upkeep issues which I informed them of. This was our first visit to Lake Anna, and I didn't know the correct question to ask before renting. Not their fault...but something I wish we'd known. The house is on the private side, which means the water was warm. So it wasn't quite the vacation we'd envisioned. For some folks that may have been great. Like I said, just wish we'd known!

There were issues with the listing that made our stay a bit difficult. 1-supposed to be a gas grill but there wasn't, so we had to go buy one. 2-supposed to be bunk bed but there wasn't. 3-used VRBO and didn't see anywhere that stated to bring linens. They said it was noted online, after looking 3 times finally found one little note after/with the fire extinguisher note. They did let us use the linens there, thankfully. No towels in the bathrooms - all in dryer. No TP in bathrooms, found later in garage after bought it.Owner contacted me almost daily about using the jet ski before got there and when there and sending contractors while we were there. Dishes and cabinets were dirty. Fire alarm in kitchen had batteries sticking out so not working. Grease overflowing from grease trap on flat cooking top on deck. One of the bedroom doors wouldn't shut, door knob broken. All of these things should be clean and fixed before the next group/season. Please update the website too. Other than these things, the house is nice, the BOAT HOUSE IS AMAZING! The LAKE IS GEORGOUS! Saw Bald eagles and cranes every day! The lake is very warm in August but its on the private side so it is what it is. Public side only few minutes away. Paddle boarding, which is on site, is so much fun!! Lots of fun stuff in boat house.

We had an amazing week at this Lake Anna home! Communication was exceptional from start to finish. The owner, Steve, was incredibly responsive, and the property manager, Jenn, was SO friendly and helpful. The older home has so much charm and has been thoughtfully updated. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the only thing missing was wine glasses. The hot tub was spotless, and Steve even provided beach towels. Just note that you'll need to bring your own bath towels and bed linens. The protected cove was perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, and swimming with no boat traffic. We loved the surprise ping-pong table, the fire pit overlooking the lake where we made s'mores almost every night, plus the included kayaks, paddleboards, fishing gear, and water trampoline. Jet ski rentals were incredibly easy. We texted Steve the night before, paid via Venmo, and Jenn arrived the next morning with the keys and a quick tutorial. When we had a mechanical issue, Steve responded within minutes, Jenn got the other jet ski out for us within 30 minutes, and Steve proactively offered a fair refund without us asking! We also loved the towables for the boat and larger jet ski. Steve's focus on safety really stood out by providing life jackets in every size and sending reminders to wear them. Our family usually vacations at the beach, but with older kids looking for more activities, this was exactly what we were hoping for! Staying again for sure!

The location of this property was great! We were just minutes from a gas station and bait shop, the Dollar General, and the Food Lion so running out for quick trips was super easy. The dock and overall lake front was exactly what we were looking for because we were close to the open lake but also had a protected area for kayaking and the kids to swim. The owner and property manager were great with communication and the owner even purchased a new lake trampoline for us before our stay because he knew we were coming with kids. It was the highlight of the trip! There is a boat to rent on property as well as jet skis. It was so convenient to choose our boat days and be able to ride around and fish! We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Lake Anna.

Great for family retreat! The hot tub works well. My kids enjoyed fishing large-mouth bass, bluegill, and catfish even in December.

Steve, Thank you so much for the great review. The comment about the jet ski is spot on...... so much so, I purchased a second jet ski. Additionally, there is a small bow rider center console boat as well available to my clients.

Lovely long lake weekend

We were looking for a quiet April weekend by the lake for our kids aged 4 through 17, and that's what we had. There were lots of spots to sit and lounge around, and we lived mostly on the dock, chasing fish, using water toys, and occasionally taking paddle boards to venture further into Lake Anna.

Fun weekend at the lake

The house was very clean and in a great location. Our teenagers loved riding the jet ski, fishing for catfish right off the dock every evening, and playing ping pong in the basement after dinner. Kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. Jenn, the property manager, was great! Thank you for the wonderful family memories at the lake!

Relaxing lake weekend

We had a great time staying here! The house was cozy and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking family meals. We spent every sunny minute in the water, which was nice and warm even on cooler days. The paddle boards were a blast for the adults and the kids loved jumping off the dock and floating pad. Once the hot tub got up to temp it worked great. We would definitely consider another stay. Thanks!

Great vacation home

The home and property is lovely and well kept. The owner is very responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful time relaxing and fishing off of the dock. A great place to unwind and reconnect with family. Highly recommended!

Great location, beautiful property

Beautiful spot, would be an awesome place to stay during the summer (we stayed in December for a wedding). Only issue was that there weren't linens on the beds when we arrived but the property responded quickly and helped us figure out how to get into the linen closet.

Alex, You are correct......starting with spring the property blooms and is an amazing rental spot for families. Amenities: Full Service Boathouse/Boat Ramp/Hoops Goa/Horseshoe pit/Corn Hole/Hot Tub/Board Games/Ping Pong/Pool Table/Fishing, option to rent jet skis r boat right on the property.

Great celebration week!

Had a fun week celebrating a birthday with friends. Caught a lot of fish! Enjoyed the firepit, kayaking, hot tub. Host was very responsive. Truly enjoyed our stay!

Relaxation heaven

There are so many things to mention that made our stay a wonderful week of fun. Hot tub was wonderful, fishing; we brought our Jon boat and the boys went fishing everyday! Boat launch on site perfect. Amenities like kayaks to use and water trampoline were great. Fantastic boat dock. Optional boat and jet-ski rental another plus. House is near end of cove so no traffic yet view of lake is great. Close to stores and Log Home Brewery was awesome! Can't wait to return. Would definitely stay here again. Host is very easy to get in touch with if needed.

Excellent rental!

Steve was very communicative and easy to work with. He genuinely cares if you are having a good time at the lake. The house and spot itself are amazing, and we'd definitely rent here again.
