Wonderful lake swimming and boating on Lake Lanier. 'Enjoy the Nostalgia of Yesterday with the Innovation of Today in our Cozy Lake Cabin'! Walls of windows with vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings, exposed beams, old heart of pine floors, and a soaring stone fireplace give warmth to this newly renovated lake home.
New cabinets and appliances in the spacious kitchen with granite counter tops and big windows that overlooks the lake make cooking fun while on vacation. Every room has been decorated to make you feel special with leather furniture, iron beds, antiques, and much more.
There are 3 bedrooms: one queen bed on the main floor, one queen bed on the 2nd floor and a 3rd bedroom has two twin beds with a 3rd bed that is a pull out/pop up that makes a great room for children or a couple with a small child to stay in their room. The lake lot, gently sloped with easy walking to the single-slip covered dock, is located on the south end of Lake Lanier with great sailing and boating. Enjoy fishing and swimming on your private dock located in a quiet, large cove. Catch the 'BIG ONES' right off your dock or enjoy swimming in a 'Wake Free' zone for your safety. Secluded, yet located within minutes to the North Georgia Mountains. Pan for Gold in Old Historic Dalonega, the 1st Gold Rush Town with the original mine still open. Antique Shopping in nearby Old Historic Townships within Atlanta Area such as Helen, Historic Dahlonega, Historic Roswell, Norcross, Duluth, Buford, Alpharetta and Cumming. Enjoy hiking to Amicalola Falls. Close to great restaurants, theaters, shopping and a great Day Spa. (8 minutes to Georgia Outlet Mall). We're back!!

After staying here several years ago, my family returned to spend a week. We loved the new decor and, the new queen bed in the master is so comfortable - as sleeping comfort is the most important feature when we're on vacation. We also enjoyed the lovely view from the deck and from inside. My favorite thing was napping on the back porch after drinking a cup of tea.

The Cozy Lake Cabin is just that! Cozy and relaxing. "Therapudic" might be the name for it. Watching the sun set over the cove is the best ever!

Cozy Cabin is just what it is

Our family has enjoyed our time at the Cozy Cabin. Owners are very responsive and keep the cabin well stocked. They keep the cabin clean and provide all the kitchen items you should need. Plenty of towels too. After a big storm and power loss they brought us battery operated lanterns and candles to use until the power came back on. There is plenty of parking and a dock to park a boat or sit and relax and play in the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy cabin

Entire house very dark, 4 light bulbs out in lamps. Family room sofa needs replacement, springs broken, sink into a hole. Toaster oven small, old. Decorating very nice, clean.

Thank you John for your feedback. It helps a lot for me to know how our guests view our Cozy Cabin. In response to your feedback. Yes, the cabin is wood pine paneling walls and stone fireplace with pine cabinets in the kitchen with black granite cabinet tops which is lending to a cozy atmosphere. The pictures in the listing shows the guest exactly what the look is. I am sorry a few light bulbs were out. Sometimes the cleaners unplug the lamps to plug in their vacumn and forget to connect again. As far as bulbs burnt out, I keep extra bulbs in the drawer beside the refrigerator in case that happens while you are there. The sofa is only about three years old and sometimes we have very heavy people staying which compromises the integrity of the sofa. We actually have already planned for the new sofa to be installed. I hope this helps anyone to understand that the decor of the cabin was meant to be cozy and not bright white like your home you would normally live in. Thank you again for your feedback. Linda

Cumming Paradise

We are a company that travels all over the Country and to stay in a home instead of a Hotel is really a refreshing change. We had three guys in Cumming, GA for a week and a half and to stay in the fall, lake side, in a spot where they can cook themselves a meal and enjoy the beautiful view makes an awful work week seemingly pleasant. Linda would bend over backwards if we asked her too to accommodate and I am really looking forward to booking a stay when I get a minute to relax from the real world. I wish there were more stars to give. Really, a resort like experience.

Thanksgiving Weekend 2012

The Cozy Cabin was perfect. The location suited all the members of my family. Being on the lake and close to the North Georgia mountains, my brothers were able to fish and hunt. We were just one or two exits away from shopping, my sister-in-law and I were able to get great deals on black friday. I'm the family photographer. The cabin and lake were great background for the photos. We sat in front of the fireplace, talking and laughing and roasting marshmallows - a wonderful memory moment. The featured photos were spot on, the property was clean, and the owner was very accomodating. I would recommend this property to families who enjoy being together.

A PERFECT 10 ROMANTIC GETAWAY!

I booked this gorgeous cabin for our anniversary for my husband & I. Even though we don't live far away, we wanted a place to simply unwind on the lake and not spend . Between the romantic dinners on the deck overlooking the lake, the breathtaking sunsets and the cozy furnishings inside this enchanting cabin, it couldn't have been more perfect! We were so glad to have a stereo system to play our favorite music. The bed was comfy, the linens soft and we loved being able to cook our favorite meals in the fantastic kitchen. We spent a couple of nights roasting marshmallows on the patio, grilled steaks on the grill and loved our walks down to the dock. One day we had some of our friends who have a boat come and pick us up. The dock was great for our friends and we were able to carry everything down to the dock that we needed for our day on the lake. We've rented other cabins on Lake Lanier, and we found the path down to the dock and lake particularly easy and not steep at all! I can't say enough about this wonderful place other than...rent it and see for yourself why we fell in love with this fantastic place! WELL worth every cent and really reasonablly priced!

Our family really loves to hear how much our guests enjoyed their stay in our Cozy Lake Cabin. We have tried so hard to make the Cozy Cabin deserve it's name by going the "extra mile" to make it truly cozy and special for all ages. Couples say they have returned many times because of the special touches that we have done to make our lake home romantic, yet it is fun for the children also with the big yard and the swim dock being level with the water so parents can be close by to watch their children while they are swimming. The kitchen is a dream for those who love to cook and yet see the water at the same time.

Home away from home

We enjoyed our stay here! Wonderful cabin with everything you need to have a 'home away from home'. Linda was extremely accommodating and made sure our stay was perfect. I would recommend this cabin to anyone needing a little R&R on the lake.

Wonderful

Our family of 9 had a fantastic vacation at the Cozy Cabin. It was so peaceful. The children ages 2-10 enjoyed everyday, swimming in the lake, making mudpies and hiking in the forest! The cabin itself was very nice and the owners went over and above to accomidate our family. I would love to stay there again.

Cozy and modern

We spent New Year's Eve weekend at the cabin and had an excellent time! Didn't spend too much time outside as the weather finally turned cold, but just having the lake view was worth it. Linda and her daughter were so helpful and very accommodating. We really appreciate their hospitality and flexibility with check in and out! We would definitely recommend this cabin and going back again in the summer when we can enjoy the lake. Thanks so much!

Gathering of Friends

We enjoyed our stay at Cozy Lake Cabin. Our card playing friends meet once a year and this was a perfect place to gather. The cabin was clean and provided everything we needed. Restaurants and grocery stores are close by. A visit to Gibbs Garden - just a 20 minute ride - was a great day trip. We especially liked sitting on the deck sipping a glass of wine while enjoying the beautiful view! We highly recommend the Cozy Lake Cabin for a relaxing getaway.

So Lovely

We had a wonderful 2 weeks in this charming Cozy Cabin. It is beautifully maintained and spotless. The appliances are very up-to-date and everything you need to cook with is provided. The cabin is in an extremely nice neighborhood, which is quiet and restful. The water is clear and beautiful to swim in also. The covered deck was very appreciated. The owners are lovely people and quite hospitable!

Grandparent Holiday

Our family had a Thanksgiving/Christmas get-together in December 2014 at Cozy Cabin. This house/cabin is exceptionally clean & well maintained, very modern & up to date, nicely furnished & is equipped with EVERYTHING you would need. All you need to provide is your groceries. The cabin location is great, convenient to Cumming, shopping, & general errands. We plan to be repeat customers for future family vacations. We would high recommend this cabin & the owners.

Great cabin

Highly recommend this cabin and the owners. The cabin was exactly as described. Very updated and clean. Plenty of room, we had 9 fishermen and it was excellent. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a very nice rental. Decorated beautifully. Dock was in excellent shape and very serviceable, plenty of parking on land. Easy walk to the lake. Good lighting on dock for safety and visibility. No one likes to dock thousands of dollars of boats and no lighting. So no worries here. Intend to rent it next year. Wish I could buy it, it is so nice. AAAAA+.

Girls' Weekend

We enjoyed a wonderful girls' weekend/Bachelorette party at the Cozy Cabin. Linda was easy to get ahold of and always helpful. The area is beautiful, and the neighbors are so friendly! Close to Atlanta, as well as Dahlonega, with plenty to do. We spent one evening at the Coo Coo's nest right down the road, highly recommend it! Cannot express enough how great this cabin was! Great to stay in on the rainy days and great location to explore GA.

Always a terrific time at Cozy Cabin!!!

This was our second stay at Cozy Cabin this year. We also stayed last July and both times were so much fun! Cozy Cabin is cleaned, well maintained and decorated so nicely! The house is surrounded by woods but you are right on Lake Lanier so bring your boat and boat around where-ever you want to go!! The kids had a blast trying to catch fish off the dock this year with a stick, a string and some fishing hooks....and after about 4 hours they caught a pretty good sized Brim (we threw him back).

Thanksgiving getaway

My wife and 3 adult children stayed at the cozy cabin for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. It was perfect for the holidays and my family enjoyed the stay. The owner was extremely nice. Everything in the house worked and was in great shape. The house had the feel of a cabin in the woods even though it's surrounded by two large mansions in a nice neighborhood. We kept a fire going most of the time and the house truly is a cozy cabin.

Cozy Cabin Is Awesome!!

We were beyond thrilled with this cabin. The log cabin look and feel on Lake Lanier was everything we were looking for. The wrap around deck is amazing and we enjoyed many nights sitting by the outdoor fireplace enjoying the lake view. We would definitely rent this property again.

Cozy Cabin was fantastic!!!

I rented the Cozy Cabin for myself and a coworker to use while in Cumming for business meetings. We stayed in the cabin for 2 weeks. The lake view is fantastic. We used the fireplace every night because it was unusually cold during our stay. Had plenty of split firewood and everything we needed, including cable TV in all rooms and wifi internet! Had a great time. The cabin was great. I will certainly be returning with my family in the summer time for some fun on the lake. Thanks Mrs. Linda. See you soon.

Beautiful and Relaxing

We stayed at Cozy Cabin for a few days of much needed rest and relaxation. Everything was just as I had expected...beautiful, serene, cozy. Even though we were close to shopping and things to do, we were still far enough away to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the cabin. We didn't venture very far because we had everything we needed at the cabin. It was the perfect place to relax, read, and fish.

This is the most convenient location on Lake Lanier to the Big Water but with a quiet cove for safety in swimming and fishing. The cabin is located near shopping and entertainment. Only 3 miles off Ga. 400, Go South and you have a straight shot to Atlanta; Go Right on Ga. 400 and you have a straight shot to the North Georgia Mountains and Historic Dahlonega where the very first gold mine in America was found and is now open for the public to tour. The original buildings and the original court house (now a museum) in the center of Dahlonega is still in great shape. Great restaurants, ice cream treats and the homemade candy shop are still operational. Be sure to spend a day in Dahlonega, Ga.

The path to the dock has lighting right to the dock for convenience. It is fun to sit out on the dock at night and enjoy the tranquility or enjoy the outdoor fireplace at the cabin (Wood Supplied). The cabin is located in an upscale neighborhood with safe walking and hiking available. The Sunset over the mountains and the cove is my favorite thing about this cabin. We have beautiful sunsets everyday and the water glistens from about 3:00 until the sun sets. Incredible! You will not want to leave. I promise.
