No pets allowed. We are very sorry, but our family has multiple members that are allergic and also suffer from asthma. No large gatherings or events. Maximum 7 overnight guests.

This beautiful 1600 square foot, fully furnished house with two living areas to relax in is just a 2 minute walk to the covered dock in a quiet, wonderful cove. It sits back from the street nestled in the tall trees. It has a wrap around deck to enjoy the cool quiet evenings.

Our house at the lake features hardwood floors throughout the downstairs living areas, beautiful, functional kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked and even has a keurig and a crock pot!

There is a king bed in the upstairs master suite with a private bath and private deck. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. The kids' room has a single over full bunk bed.

There are two living areas, one with a large flat screen tv, the other is just off the kitchen with two cozy chairs for reading or chatting.

There are two TV's in the house and WiFi, but also a tv for DVD's only in the kids' room. We've also provided some of our favorite board games, puzzles and a few decks of cards for quality "disconnected" family time without the distraction of electronic devices.

The house sits on a secluded cove that is wide and deep and is bordered on one side by an un-populated peninsula. This cove is big enough to play in all day and we rarely feel the need to even leave it, but we're just 5-10 minute boat ride to Gainesville Marina which has a gas dock as well as Skogies on Lanier.

The single slip dock will easily accommodate up to a 24' boat.

Our home is conveniently located just minutes from shopping at Wal-mart, Target, Kohls, Old Navy, Marshall's, Ross, Publix, Academy, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Great dining is close by at Texas Road House, Cheddar's, Olive Garden, Wild Wings & Panera Bread.

This home has recently added a stacked washer/dryer. There is also a fabulous laundro-mat literally right across the street from the neighborhood. It is very clean and nice. You can wash multiple loads at once and be out the door in about an hour!

You will find ample parking on the driveway. Do NOT park on any of the grass. We have a septic and water main that could be compromised.
No off-road (ATV, dirt-bike type vehicles) allowed anywhere on our property or the corps property.
Please do not move the grill. Someone moved it beside the kitchen window and the heat the grill put off caused the window to break.

The house was perfect for our stay with friends while attending the Petit Le Mans race at Road Atlanta, which is 20 minutes away. In a quiet road, the house has a lovely feel about it and was spotlessly clean with good clear instructions. Deana the owner was welcoming and really helpful with any questions we had. If we’re lucky enough to come back to this area we would definitely look to stay here again.

This is the fifth time in four years we’ve stayed at this property. This house is very comfortable for a family. It’s close to many conveniences but is very quiet and seems separated from the hustle and bustle. Deana is so nice and extremely responsive to any questions. We hope to continue staying here for years to come.

Great house on Lake Lanier

Good location with a dock on Lake Lanier. It is near a number of boat ramps near the middle of the lake. The house is very clean, comfortable, organized and well stocked.

Winter Get Away

We found the rental as described. It was clean, and in a quite neighbourhood. It is close to good shopping, but when you are at the rental it seemed like it was miles from any retail areas. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quite location, but still has good shopping close by. If we are ever in the area again, we would most likely stay again.

Everything was wonderful. Came in from Texas to spend Christmas with family who live in Gainesville. Deanna checked with us to make sure we were in and even sent us a "Happy New Year" greeting. She made it clear to contact her if there were any issues. 5-Star. Would have made it more stars if I could have. House is well equipped.

Great Space & Location

Spent the weekend with my older daughter, 2 grandbabies and 16 year old son. He completely enjoyed the paddleboard! Plenty of games and fun for the littles :) Beds and furniture were very comfortable. We had everything we needed. The owner was amazing.... any question I had was promptly answered. Definitely recommend!

What a gem!

We were in the Atlanta area for a baseball tournament and really enjoyed our stay at this house. Plenty of space in the house and we loved the time on the dock and floating in the lake. We brought our jet skis and there was plenty of space for them on the dock. Our entire family enjoyed themselves and Deana is an amazing host! Highly recommend this property!!

Comfort all around.

Deana was an amazing host, incredible thoughtful, fast to response and communication was overall stellar. We found this property as we tried to escape an awful VRBO we had rented and needed something close by…and fast. Deana was quick to respond, made sure that the property was cleaned from the previous tenants very quickly and checked in with us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. The home is beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had a lot of things going on and never made it to the lake from the house (we were visiting family and spent time at their lake house) and I just wish there were some lake views, but honestly that is not even a concern. I would absolutely recommend this property if you’re okay with not being “right” at the lake. Thank you for hosting us!

Good fishing cabin

Three friends and I spend a week each April fishing for spotted bass on Lake Lanier. This house worked very well for our week. We all four bring our fishing boats so we need room for four vehicles pulling boats. The large U-shaped driveway accomodated all four boats with room to spare. This house also has a dock on Lake Lanier which makes it convenient to come in for a lunch break. From this house in Gainesville you can easily access any part of Lake Lanier. The house inside is well equipped and is very comfortable. The host is very responsive to any questions or issues that arise. We plan to book it again next year.

After an extensive search, we purchased this lake home as a weekend getaway to enjoy all that Lake Lanier has to offer - great tubing, wakeboarding, paddle boarding, fishing and just plain floating and relaxing.

This house has it all - a great location just minutes from great shopping and dining, a nice wooded lot in a small, quiet neighborhood with a short level walk to our covered dock. Most people comment on how convenient it is to everything. You will be at restaurants and shopping centers in literally 2 minutes.

We spent over a year fully renovating this home.(2014 to early 2015) New hardwoods and carpet throughout, new lighting, new bathroom fixtures and fully renovated kitchen featuring granite counters and stainless appliances.
